RV Reviews

Location is great since it’s just off the interstate. There is a strong smell in the air there since it looks to be near a farm but wasn’t an issue inside the RV. The people are nice there and met our needs to refill our propane.

Staff is very nice. Camp site was very dirty!! Picnic table completely covered with bird poop and ground was covered with pine cones. Power wash the picnic table when you know you have a site rented!!! That’s just gross!! WiFi….. non existent!! Could not use!! This is 2021!! Boost your signal! Too stinky to leave windows open- strong cow manure smell! Would never stay again!

The only problem we see is the flies

The staff was great but the plethora of birds in the tree never shut up and the çampground placed the picnic table directly under the tree of birds so it was covered in bird feces and unusable. The pet run was all dirt that blew easily in the wind so our pets did not enjoy it. In the morning there was an overwhelming stench of manure.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went downhill from there. Hard to take showers as the water temps would go from just right, to freezing cold, then to scalding hot. Couldn’t get out of the water fast enough. A plus was that the pull-through’s were level but the campground looked like it had a lot of long term tenants.

We stayed for our maiden voyage with our new camper. The staff was so helpful and kind. Helmut even showed us to our site and helped me get backed in=-)

Horrible. Smelled like horse manure - couldn't sit outside or open the windows. Lots of permanent trailers - looked trashy. Advertised 20 cable channels yet I only got 5 or 6. Worst KOA that we ever stayed at. Had to leave early because this place sucked.

This was like staying in a trailer court. Some people on the other side of the fence hooked up to water and electric and were draining their black water onto the ground. More permanent residence than campers. Lots of places to camp free with no hookups that are nicer.

Nice

Nice personal notices and acknowledgement ahead of our arrival and accommodating early check in. The campground was a bit rustic but we received a shady spot and giving a good rating because the camp staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We stayed one night passing through and recommend to others.

We have been to many KOAs. This one was very different. A lot of permanent residents. Definitely took away from the KOA experience. Not a place we’d spend more than a quick stop along our route. Won’t return.

Nice place

Nice concrete pull-throughs.

Friendly staff, escorted to site. Nice concrete pad with trees.

Very nice hosts

30 amp site lost power to whole row do to to many Ac’s running on one unit. Unseasonably warm almost 100. Running one AC on 30 amp could not keep unit cool. Host did there best. Full park, appears to many permanent residents which detracted from typical KOA. Pet park could have used grass instead of dirt and needed to be bigger.

Beautiful place! Tons of trees, quiet, and everyone so friendly!! Can’t wait to go back!

It was okay for a 1 night drive-by stay but that’s about it. The site was level and long so it was nice to just pull though, unhook and plug in after a long day of travel. The pool was small and seemed kinda icky so we didn’t use it even though it was extremely hot and buggy outside. The laundry room was clean and there was enough units to satisfy the demand.

Came to check out the town and it was awesome! Had a problem with our camper and the KOA staff was no help in helping us find someone to fix the problem! There is a terrible smell that comes on which way the wind is blowing. To me it could have been a little cleaner!

Very helpful staff. Well-maintained facilities. Quite a few full-timers, but they were all friendly and courteous. Had no odor problems some have mentioned. Temperatures were in the 90s, but electrical voltage stayed reasonably high. Just far enough from I25 that traffic noise wasn't a problem. All in all, like most KOAs, not great, but good enough.

Great clean campground.

We were in a group and we asked if we could not be altogether and that did not happen and then a member of our group was asked to move or leave because there was a miscommunication about the reservation and they wound up leaving I felt that there should have been some compensation for them because of that

Not really a campground - more like a trailer park. Will not be coming back.

Extremely nice/friendly staff. Great shower facilities. Laundry and wifi need allot of work. Nice level concrete pad and all in all a nice stay.
Jun 13, 2021
Poorly maintained. Tall grass/weeds on our lot. Many old poorly maintained campers with junk stored outside. Appeared to be seasonal. Not what we.nornally expect from KOA.

Staff was very kind. However there is no internet and no real concern to do anything about it.

Clean quite and easy to get to

Very nice campground and people. The facilities were clean and the grounds were well taken care of. No on site restaurant but a well stocked store.

Nice campground, we enjoyed our stay. Lots of mosquitoes around.

Many permanent residents. However, the number one problem is the feedlot next door. The odor was horrendous

Staff could not be more polite and helpful

This KOA is the worst we’ve ever stayed at. There are many RV’s that apparently are permanent residents. We were lucky to be near a couple and their children that were very friendly and kept their site neat and clean. However, one whole side of the facility that had long grass/weeds, boards and trash serving as ‘under skirting’ , flat tires, units on blocks…. Need I go on?

Great people and clean bathrooms, we'll be back!

Very run down park junk stored everywhere full time rv people have over ran the park. Very scary if you where a female traveling alone. Do not stay here the cow smell and flies are horrible . Why is this a KOA? So disappointed .

Wonderful area, far enough removed from the city. Very friendly and affordable, thank you so much!
Jun 06, 2021
It was spacious between camping spots. Not on top of one another which is usually the case at most KOA. Friendly and off the main drag.
Jun 06, 2021
Several tree branches were interfering with our slide out, so we had to shift our rig way to one side of the pad to avoid. Also, on our way out, more branches got in the way as we were turning out. Please do a better job trimming branches that interfere with bigger rigs.

campsite in need of repair....more gravel or asphalt added... the smell from the horse pasture was strong and not good...people were nice and restrooms were clean
Jun 04, 2021
Campground is down wind of a very large horse corral, horrible smell. Couldn't open doors or windows. Large and loud dogs. Camper washing his RV. One plus, concrete site.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The park has easy access to the Interstate. It is very quiet and clean.
Jun 03, 2021
The Campground Staff are very accommodating and friendly, nice laundry and shower facility. The campground itself is a mess. The so called “gravel” sites are far from gravel. Dust and dirt when dry and a mud pit when wet. The cow’s odor next to the campground ruin any sort of outdoor dining or visiting and the full time RV’s are not a welcome sight.

Showed us where to park. Close to interstate. Waited while I made sure I had a spot to park in another town for the 2nd leg of our trip. Nice..

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
