Nice area and easy to get to. Very friendly staff, pretty view, and clean campground. I will definately stay here again.

Very noisy during day. Birds & motorcycles. Very cold whole time mid April. Should have expected it. Didn’t expect snowy and muddy. Digging my truck out from under multiple inches of snow on top of it and sloshing through wet sticky mud on the ground. Suggest getting concrete pad instead of gravel as “gravel” actually means dirt with a bit of gravel. Doesn’t help with mud. Worth the extra

Long term resident campers have lots of junk and make the place look trashy. Beautiful view of the mountains out one window and a junk pile out the other.

I love this campground and Sue is great! But I have to say that the hot water in the shower goes from normal to scolding hot. Not sure why but regardless it was very nice to get a shower finally. We love the playground and the horses are beautiful. This is a great place to stay!! :)

Had a very nice stay. The employees in the office were very accommodating and friendly. The gravel pads could use a little more gravel if it was wet it may have been a bit difficult to get my 37' Class A into the spot. All in all everything was good.

Showers and restrooms are immaculate. We were supposed to be there 2 nights, ended up to be 4 due to wind storm. Helmut and his wife were so understanding. We didn't have to move to another spot. Yes the cows are stinky, that are up the road, but we have over 700 cows around our house, so it felt like home. We will be back in March! OH ALSO love their store, a bit of everything. Thank u so much.

This is our 1st time going south for the winter. Stopped the 1st night at the Ft. Collins N/Wellington KOA in CO. Facilities clean; staff members friendly, welcoming, helpful; met some other guests who are evacuated from their home due to the fires in the area. Conveniently close to I-25 (so you have Interstate noise), and the area has a "farm smell" (but not offensive to us). Enjoyed our stay!

The stench of cows, the fires burning made for a pretty brutal stay. We tried to cut our stay short due to fires and weather approaching but they would not refund us one day out of a week long stay...kinda sad. They gave us a credit for one day..not the way to get customers to come back! Felt that was handled kinda badly. The fires were out of their control, but the refund should have been given.

Nice quiet location but this campsite hosts more livers than transients. The entrance/exit are opposite which should be corrected tho the signs were clear

Let us park at 9AM wihtout a grumble, upgraded our site for a reasonable fee, and offered any assistance we might need. Helmut is the best!

The manager and office staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. That said, the facility is fairly minimal (it is a KOA "Journey"). The hookups all function well, there is a small playground for children, and a small "park" for dogs, but it is nothing more than dirt enclosed with a chain link fence. Through no fault of theirs, it is located close to a cattle feed lot and can stink.

Lovely setting, but a fair amount of interstate noise. Nice folks and beautiful trees. A little stinky from local livestock.

Convenient location. Well organized. Good convenience store. Cement sites excellent. Dirt sites crowded. The first few nights were bad, as I have asthma and my slideout bedroom was only about four feet from my neighbor's picnic table and they smoked non-stop, drinking and talking loudly until late. The Wi-Fi was inadequate and intermittent on both sites. Overall, it was OK.

The site was fine for a night. Be prepared for a short dirt road to reach the campground. The back part of the campground has paved sites, but the rest is mainly dirt. We weren’t able to access the WiFi but didn’t push it as it was only one night. Our sewer hookup wasn’t threaded making it tough to keep the hose in. Just things to be aware of.

Stayed 1 night. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean grounds. Easy on off hwy however gravel road a short distance to campground. Smoke from wild fires and manure stench strong.

We're traveling to visit family. So we needed just a space for a one night layover. FC/Wellington KOA had no vacancies when we first called. They put us on notification list should they receive a cancellation. We were pleased when they called when a spot opened. Sadly the pandemic required that the public facilities needed to be closed. Great for the dogs as there were 3 dog runs.

Nice clean park, easy in easy out. Only stayed one night as passing thru so don’t know about amenities. Friendly staff and priced reasonable, would stay here again.

Small campground with easy access, friendly employees, campground is clean and has a good dog walk area. Nothing special but would stay here again for an overnight stop.

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
