It was perfect for we needed, which was a one night tent site with a clean shower (the bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen). I would highly recommend it for this purpose. However, it is next to ranching and assorted odors associated with farm life. It is also near the highway so you can always hear the traffic. I would not recommend this for any lengthy stay.

Horse smell is intense by the tent sites. And there are two lights near the tent site that are brighter than other path lights and they are annoying.

The building was very clean and the store had everything that we needed. The campsite was accessible and very well taken care of.

They were amazing about accommodating our 3 mules in a short notice. The people were very helpful and friendly the kitchen and shower and wash amenities were above and beyond what we expected for the price. I highly recommend them

On our way to Denver we hit traffic at the Utah/Wyoming border delaying our trip by a few hours. We decided we couldn't make it to Denver and stopped here. Helmut found us a great camping spot to accommodate our SUV and Uhaul moving truck. The only downside was a ton of litter in the fire ring. The camp manager was kind/helpful. I appreciated that a police car patrolled during the night--felt safe

Stayed during COVID and a Wildfire that had just started. So Pool was closed, the air was smoky and it was one night. It did seem that there was a nice playground for the kids and I liked the tent sites. I did not care for our neighbors as they let their dog run freely into our site. The dog tore up our garbage bag and we had to clean up the mess. I thought dogs were to be leashed, MINE WAS.

I did not have a great stay. There were employees not wearing maks inside, no sign of disinfecting anything, and groups of people allowed to not wear masks. We also were not made aware before hand that there were no fires allowed. I feel as though there should have been a notice sent out informing us there were no fires so that we could've gotten a propane grill or something to cook dinner on.

The showers were unacceptable. Both men's and women's had two temps: boiling hot or stone cold. If you were able to fine a medium temp, it would periodically switch to hot or cold. Dangerous! Also, men's shower was a single small stream (no spray). Further, the manure odor from the adjacent horse farm was very objectionable. And finally, neither the toilet nor shower stalls are ADA compliant.

Extremely overpriced based on stays at other KOAs. The pool was not open, flies everywhere, tent surfaces uneven.

Wide open spaces....horses and a great playground for kids. The store is well stocked with everything you need. The bathrooms and laundry room are always clean and in good repair. There is a cool campers kitchen that has sinks with hot and cold water and a 4 unit range top at four different stations so that you can cook your own food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you

We were put in a spot between 2 long term residents and we ended up helping them both with issues with their trailer/motor home, We had to ask people to move vehicles so we could drive out without hitting trees that had grown into the assigned parking spot.

We had a great time! Our tent site had great shade. We stayed for the 4th of July and had great views of many fireworks shows going on around the area. Nice bathrooms and showers. Great kamper kitchen. My kids had a blast on the playground and swings. Close to Poudre river for swimming which was nice since the pool wasn't open as we expected it to be since the other FOCO KOAs pool was last weekend

It was smelled like an outhouse because it’s next to a dairy farm. They didn’t clean the restrooms like they should be during a pandemic. I never saw anyone clean them.

Loved it!! Sad the pool was closed. Only thing I could recommend is adding a bathroom closer to the tent sites as the main building is the only restrooms at the campground.

Staff were freindly and helpful. we were on a bike tour and appreciated the support that a koa provides.

My son and I were tent camping off the motorcycle and I was pleasantly surprised this camp ground. Very friendly staff they were very helpful and accommodating.

We wanted to get out of Denver very last minute and they were able to accommodate us with two tent sites next to each other. Very friendly staff, clean facilities and well kept grounds.

My favorite KOA in Colorado. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The common areas were always clean which to me is a great sign that the employees love their jobs. Halmut and AnnaRose are "Hands-On" owners and this shows in the attitude of their staff and the atmosphere of the entire campground.

Nice place. Bathrooms a bit dated. We had a tent site near the horses so a few more flies and manure smell than ideal.

Very nice people who mange the KOA .. bathrooms were very clean ..THANK YOU !! As other reviews have stated the smell of manure in the evening was overwhelming.. not to bad in the morning .. i feel bad for the management, been wondering what they could do to resolve the issue ..

Wonderful. Friendly staff, quiet, shaded tent & RV sites. Clean, nice amenities including a nice camp kitchen for multiple groups to use. Large store, but prices a bit higher than other camp stores.

Easy location from I-25 but far enough to be quiet. Well kept. Would stay again if in the area. Employees were good also!

Some of the reviews complain about things that you should either expect, being in the country, or are a bonus, like the senior horse rescue non-profit. Yes there are some flies, there are also ranching and farming operations all around the area, and if I go to Florida, I expect gators, no different here.
