Our 4th time staying at Gatlinburg East. Always a great place to stay for hiking the park and visiting Gatlinburg & PF. Clean bathrooms, well kept sites & main building, and quiet after 10PM. This site sets the standard for what a KOA campground should offer,

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The site we were in was very overgrown with trees. We had a few nights with rain so our site never really dried due to nearly no sunlight getting to the ground. The inside of the rv also stayed very damp. The water tasted like you were drinking out of an old hose. (we use a quality rv water hose). Adding a second filter didn't help. Also a bit pricey

This was such a clean, friendly campground. There were rules, but we did not mind them. The rules are what keeps the campground so clean. The owner was so nice to us, the office staff were very helpful. We will stay again, for sure!

Good campground, was a great alternative to staying in the Pigeon Forge KOA if you prefer Peace and quiet to being in the middle of everything

Great location, away from the crowds. Not much to do at night for kids, so we'd stay somewhere else if we brought our kids. As a couple, we'd definitely return. Trails right behind campground down the gravel road. Lovely people who run the campground! No complaints, just wish there was a hot tub!!

We enjoyed the whole week there. Kelly and his staff are some of the hardest workers I have ever seen at a campground. Everything was clean, the store, showers and bathroom all top notch. This was the first KOA campground we have stayed at, and will be staying there again. I want to thank Kelly and all his staff for a great experience!!

Awesome campground - great hosts and staff - and a great bunch of folks around us... We were in a 43 foot motorhome - the width of our space was a bit tight for us - not the campground's fault - and the other positives of the campground more than compensated for that one aspect.

Friendly staff, clean campground not far from town with lots to do. Easy to find with signage driving toward Gatlinburg. The only constructive thing I would say is it would help greatly for the sign to be lit driving from Gatlinburg. We nearly passed it every night coming back. It’s a wonderful place to stay with a lot of pride taken in keeping it nice. We would definitely book again! Thank you!

Very nice campground. Big thing to me is that it is shady and quiet. Very peaceful and close to everything that the Smoky Mountains have to offer. Campsites are easy to get in and out.

We arrived after normal check in hours, and the staff was so friendly and gracious to us. They made sure someone would be there after hours to get us checked in and help us to our spot. The campground itself was clean and well maintained. Nice find!!

Lot 7 has no privacy, right next to the ATV site (which is very noisy a couple of times a day), traffic coming and going shine their lights right onto your campsite and camper. This site does have a private exit to the highway in return for shutting the gate each evening. The staff was very friendly! Well kept sites. Convenient location. Would stay again as long as it's not on Site 7.

A very nice campground and we lived our site. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The grounds were neat and well landscaped and the bathrooms were very clean. We highly recommend this KOA.

Spaces to small nothing like the pictures. Never been anywhere that I could not reserve a spot luck of the draw. Lots of spaces I would not been happy in. Place is nicely kept. Jeremy was great. Other golf cart guy should have gotten his name but he needs to learn people skills. Even my sweet 81 year old sister who was traveling with us said he was an a--. Will not be back

Great campground one BIG exception, I wasn’t allowed to use my dog fencing. Our dogs are our family, and if one member of our family is miserable then we are all miserable. Our dog hasn’t ever been on a tie out, and he was miserable having to use one if outside. If I could have used my fencing then it would have been a fantastic trip. Great location just don’t know why they don’t care for

Quaint camp ground. Sites are very crowded and the "dog patrol" was literally on your case as soon as your dogs are stepping out of the RV. That was the unfortunate part of the experience but all the other staff were friendly, accommodating and nice. Jeremy was the star of the show at your campground!

Clean and quiet RV park. Store is not well stock for every day type items. Close to a Dollar General. If you don’t mind the 15 miles to the Smoky National Park, it good and descent place to stay.

We are new to RV’ing and arrived late. The team got us in and helped get us backed into our site with no issues. This is a great campground with a very helpful team. So good we’re going back in a couple of weeks!

I have stayed here several times and never disappoints. Friendliest staff, clean facilities. Favorite campground! Please don't pay attention to the negative reviews from a group who didn't like the rules. The rules are not bad and nothing I haven't seen elsewhere. I like that the owner is on site in case there is a problem. Stop in, say hello and ask to drive through. You won't be disappointed
