Their marketing way oversells this campground. We expected decent wifi but it was hopeless. No cable even though we were supposed to have it. Tiny dog run. Nice showers though!!

I am sorry you were disappointed with your stay. We have 29 channels of cable tv. 2 dog parks and a walking trail. We also have fiber internet. Thank you for the feedback.

It is a nice small campground and nice overnight stop for snowbirds traveling to and from their winter home.

Perfect location to visit the El Malpais Park Little cabin was the best that we have stayed in. The table and chairs inside was nice for playing a game in the evening after our day of exploring.

Darling gift shop, there were items from local artists and great prices. We arrived late and the after hours check in process was smooth and easy. Our site was level and easy to pull into.

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, but the hosts are great, the bathrooms are very modern and clean, and we appreciated the excellent coffee and continental breakfast. Don't miss the interesting trail with signage for this very unusual geological area. We will plan to stay longer next time to visit some of the attractions in the area. Thanks so much Grants KOA staff!

Sites were level gravel, a little close together, but everything worked well. The bathrooms were individual rooms w/ shower, sink & toilet and were immaculate. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Laundry area was clean and reasonably priced. There was the option to purchase prepared dinners to be delivered to your site and a free continental breakfast each morning. We would definitely stay again.

This was an unexpected pleasure the campground is small I used the tent camping even though it’s less than half a mile away from a freeway the noise was minimal unexpected free breakfast lovely talkative atmosphere with receptionist and fellow campers ended up seeing a couple of unusual sights before heading out. Will stop here again

Very clean. Friendly staff. Interesting lava formations and fun nature trail. Enjoyed a delicious dinner of ribs, mashed potatos and brocolli. Left too early to partake in continental breakfast. Just wish there were some trees. Must be very hot in summer. Nice moutains in distance. Quiet place to get a good nites rest.

We were greeted with friendly staff, plus warm cookies. The restrooms and showers were exceptionally clean and updated. The campsites were clean and orderly. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Said they had cable but it didn’t work. They offered to let me go to a cabin to watch Kansas-NC but really felt uncomfortable. There WiFi was very unsecured so had to watch game on my phone. The bathrooms were very clean a well kept. That is the 2 stars

Our Wifi is very secure with passwords and other backend safety measures. I am sorry that we were unable to accommodate you. We offered a cabin and also a site change. We did not know there was an issue with that sites cable until you had set up.

We were very happy with our stay again. The delivery of the campground BBQ food is great after a long drive . The only disappointing thing is the dog park as it is coarse gravel and this hurts the dogs feet, why not put pea size gravel down so dogs can run,just a suggestion.

We only stayed overnight, but were extremely happy with the experience. The bathrooms were updated, very clean and loved the separate rooms. Everyone enjoyed the cookies at check in and the breakfast was a little bonus. The tent area was a great set up. The hosts were very welcoming. We will come again.

Very clean campground, water and electric worked great, nice trail through the a'a' lava rock bordering El Malpais with interpretive signage. Very courteous service at the front desk too - and free cookies!

Our stay was the best. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. It was nice to be able to purchase dinner after a long drive and best of all, the food was delicious. We also appreciated the continental breakfast the following morning.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Santa Fe. The spots were very level, good location, right off I 40. Free continental breakfast. Very good camp store. Staff was great.

We love this little oasis in New Mexico. The staff and environment at this location are great! It's a place we have stopped overnight on a journey many times and will continue to do. The food food, when it's available, is great comfort food and the slices of pie are delicious. The showers and restrooms were clean with plenty of hit water. The staff are second to none in our opinion.

Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. They offer a dinner meal with nice selections and make it easy especially after a day's drive. We had to stay an extra night due to high wind conditions and they fit us in with no issues. The folks there are truly nice and easy to speak with. Great stop!

Awesome owners and staff. Real hospitality. Greeted us with sincere warmth and appreciation. Lots to do in the neighborhood. This is a must stop for us. Dinner as well as a continental breakfast. Incredible bathrooms. Very clean and private. Wonderful view out the back window. A bonus

One of our favorite parks on our road trip across country. Staff is incredible , showers are amazing and the dog area is really close by! Next time I want one of the spots with a patio!

Stayed here one night while driving cross country with two cats and it was great! Clean restrooms, warm cabin with cable TV, respectful neighbors, reasonable pet fee ($10). Bonus points for mailing my dad his jacket after we left it.
