tHE SMALL CABIN WAS PERFECT. SO QUAINT AND HAS SUCH A GREAT VIEW. LOVED HAVING A BEACH RIGHT OUTSIDE THE CABIN. GREAT SUNRISES IN THE MORNING. HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND WILL DO IT AGAIN IF POSSIBLE.

2nd trip here and we really enjoyed our stay. Will be back in July. Grounds were clean, staff nice and polite. Pool area is awesome and clean, shower houses also.

We absolutely love it there. However, I was disappointed that the roof on the porch still hadn't been repaired from last year's hurricane damage. Also, people going to the public shower tend to walk right through the area designated for Sand Dollar Kabin. Vehicles need to slow down going down the hill. Even so, we can't wait to go back!

Overall weather was great. In comparison to other KOA's we visited the last two years, this KOA didn't do as good of a job keeping the restrooms as clean as others throughout the day/evening.

We stayed in a luxury cabin. Very clean. Very well stocked with amenities. Would definitely do this again.

We enjoyed our stay. Was unfortunate that every space around us had a bench swing and a fire pit except us. The live music was fun and we really enjoyed the pool with all of the pool toys available to use.

Had a late check in and a early fishing trip the next morning. The ladies were very understanding and let me come by when I returned from our trip.

Nice area: pool, store and play area for children. We would recommend booking the premiere sites with paver patios, swings, etc. Beach front is advertised but it is so small and really only usable by the 2 cabins facing the beach... we traveled to Johnson National Park Beach in Pensacola (20 min drive) which was amazing!

This is the third straight year we've stayed at this KOA over the Memorial day weekend. There will be a fourth although we're going to go the week prior. We've fallen in love with this place. The pool and hot tub is a nice feature which adds to the package. Perdido bay within spitting distance is great and the beautiful Gulf Coast beaches are close. This place has character!

Everything was great except needing bed linens for the bunk beds (they did provide some when I asked) and I didn't realize this location dont provide towels or washcloths or that our cabin would be the one next to the public showers. Next time we will request to not be near the public restrooms. We love staying at the KOA's and overall had a good experience. �

We were extremely disappointed with our stay we had an "upgraded site" with a crumbling concrete pad with a great view of the road. Beyond a doubt the worst KOA we have stayed at out of the 50 or so that we have stayed in over the years. The park is old and shows it's age it needs some serious updating. Avoid this place if at all possible. Check it out on google maps satellite view.

We were kinda shocked this was a KOA. It is unlike any others we have visited. Outdated cabins that need multiple repairs. Rental equipment(golf cart) that did not function well. We would prefer a different location and will not be returning any time soon if at all.

The location is not convenient to Gulf Shores at all, so it really should be labeled the Pensacola KOA. The campground itself would benefit from some maintenance. We've stayed at KOA's in the past where the deluxe patio sites were very nice. This was ok at best. Some landscaping between sites would help with privacy. Their road to the bay is a disaster. We did get LP, which was great.

Amazing campground if you are looking for a peaceful quiet retreat with lots to do. Everyone was super friendly, the amenities were numerous and dogs were welcomed. You could come to stay here and never have to leave to explore to find things to do. We did have a problem with our dumping tank at the site but were able to use the one for the adjoining site.

It was a nice place but way out of the way to visit family and friends in Pensacola. The beach was non existent and playground left slot to be desired which was disappointing. However, the spots had plenty of room and pool was nice.

Would only come back if in a camper. Tent sites WAY to small. We weren't expecting luxury but we could barely set up our tents with our car on site. The side by side campsite should be one site!! No grill . No fire ring. Child size picnic table. No room to prepare our food. Staff very nice. Clean facilities.

We had a major thunderstorm in the middle of the night...something we’re not really familiar with...but we’re surprised to wake up with the power on, no downed trees, well drained campground and everyone simply going about their business.

The cabin we stayed in smelled very strongly of old cigarette smoke. The ac unit in the bedroom was missing parts so you could not adjust it. We had no firepit but we were sold firewood. The pool area was nice and well taken care of and it had a good KOA store. Great view! Not sure if we would go back to this KOA but it served its purpose.

Nice place to stay. Friendly folks. We stayed in basic spot. Wish it had been more level. Spots are close together but it worked okay. Nice pool and play area.we will stay again.

Hi the showers and bathroom was old and my place to setup wasn't level at all. The people in the office were awesome.

We loved this campground, and the staff was super friendly. Everything was very clean, and the pool area was really nice. However, we were expecting the bay side beach to be usable and not overgrown, and for that reason alone we will try to stay at a different place when come back to the area. If you don't care about being a reasonable distance from a usable beach, then it is a perfect place.

Nice park, great views, quiet and a nice pool and hot tub. Our spot was pretty tight and we arrived after dark which made getting into our spot challenging but once we got situated it was great.

We had a wonderful month staying at the KOA in January. It wasn't far from Perdido Key or other main beaches but we honestly just really enjoyed our time at the park. There is a beach on the bay, great fishing, and our kids even caught crabs. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived to the area earlier than expected and ended up booking two nights here. We loved it! Staff extremely nice, great fishing pier, nice beach area, we launched our kayak and enjoyed the bay, saw dolphins in the bay, easy access to gulf shores area to enjoy the beaches. Facilities were clean and easily accessible. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. I would really like to get a group of people together and rent the cabins down by the water…looks like such a neat area! Will stay again!
