My boys and I had a blast! We stayed in a primitive cabin on the bay and enjoyed fishing, the breeze, the dolphins and so much more. It was refreshing and fun. The pool and hot tub are very nice. It was a great vacation. Staff are super friendly.

There were bedbugs in the kids room bunk beds and when I told the office ladies about it they tried to tell me it was sand fleas. We left after the first night and after I washed and dried everything we had brought with us. We have stayed in other KOAs and usually love them. Not this one!!!!

The non smoking Kabin smelled like something was smoked very close to the inside of the kabin and also we found a used syringe under the mattress. ��� Once we sprayed down the room , we opened the windows and made sure we were safe we left the door open to air out. Being able to look right out onto the Bay was wonderful. We were thankful for the central location too. We will be back.

this is a nice little campground. we did not take our camper on this trip, instead opting to rent one of the deluxe cottages with kitchen and bathroom. the only thing that was a little subpar was the cleaning of the cottage, however that may have been because we got there a little early and they may have rushed the cleaning. staff was friendly. quiet and relaxing stay. nice pier and beach on bay.

When I booked rental I specifically asked if the unit had heat and directly said central heat not space heaters. I was told it had a heating and air unit. It did not and I was left with small 9 x10 in space heaters . The floors were sagging and rippled. The stove was filthy, I cleaned it myself. Windows were broken so couldn’t be opened. Couch was horrible. No spoons. No can opener. Frig dirty.

We stayed in a cabin and the furnace did not work and it was cold. The cabins are all in need of repairs. We left 3 days early because we had no water for 2 1/2 days. We will not be back unless things are fixed.

We had a wonderful time and will be back for over the summer with friends and family. The staff was great and the accommodations were very well maintained and pet friendly. Loved going to the beach area and dock.

My stay was great, however, I had booked another month and was told that I had to leave the day I was coming to pay for the other month. I was pretty much kicked out. I will tell everyone I know never to use this campground.

We stayed in a cabin with bath and kitchen, but we were without water two days. The first day no water for over 24 hours and another day about an hour. We were given no discount for having no water. The cabin could have been cleaner. There were roaches and the shower was not working properly. The quality had gone down from previous stays. We would like to return, but are not sure at this point.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had a nice partial view of the bay from our porch. The park was quiet with lots of trees. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. The cabin looks ready for a spring cleaning and the bed left much to be desired but we have added this KOA to our list of favorites and will be back.

the sheets & bedspread were awful-thin & pilled. I had to go buy some. The "sofa" was horrible- I don't think you could give it away at a garage sale. Everything else was ok, clean bath & kitchen. Overall, we like the campground- close to a great breakfast place. Campground is very clean, quiet & safe. We stayed in a campsite once & like the swing! For the price-stay in hotel on beach!

Neat pool and hot tub. We stayed in a cabin. Had all we needed for a relaxing trip to Gulf Shores even in February. Friendly staff. Easy access to beach and activities, but a quiet campground to get away from the bustle.

Property was in good shape but the cabin was not clean. Overall good stay but the cabins could use some maintenance and a good mopping.

Very nice campground and very helpful, friendly staff. The RV sites were spacious. We stayed in a cabin with bath/shower. The only complaint I would have is the mattress on the bed and couch was worn bad. Other than that, good stay. I would stay there again in my camper.

1.The grounds are not kept up at all. 2.Filthy. Nothing is cleaned outside. The benches are covered in grime. 3.Out of 8 dryers, only 4 were in service and very expensive compared to other KOA's and campgrounds. 4.The cabins were all growing mildew. 5.The quiet time hours were not enforced. Barking dogs at all hours of the day and night. 6.Dumpsters overflowing with trash. 7.Stinky septics.

Stayed one week- in cabin and the beds were broken down so bad you can feel the support boards. Asked for anything else - And answer was no - Possibly my expectations were set too high being a KOA. But definitely not recommending a cabin for a week at $,1000. Would have been bettet in a hotel.

Weekend stay in DK6 to be close to family for a Christmas party. I've stayed here several times and my expectations are in line with the accommodations. However, the quality of the bed was bad. Sagging in the middle and extremely uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced. For the price, I was disappointed as the only thing we did there was (try to) sleep.

Freaking awesome this place rocks! Waterfront cabin was perfect, was able to pull my boat up to the beach. Definitely coming back and not far from the house. A++ except renting a golf cart to have the housekeeper take off on it for awhile and had to get another one.

The campground itself was nice but there was no laundry. We stayed in the deluxe cabin. When we entered it smelled so bad it took three days to get the smell out. The bed was like sleeping on a raft. The entire cabin was out dated and needs a face lift with a new bed. New , bed, curtains and furniture.

I just in a deluxe cabin that was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were very well kept and it had everything needed. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed in one of the cabin lodges. Needs some work. I’m sure the campground itself is and seemed very nice. The cabin we were in the starfish had bugs like roaches. The bathroom door would not close all the way it’s a sliding type door. Also hot water didn’t last but a couple minutes. Front door area needs cleaning and dead bolt didn’t work.

Grounds were nice. Waterfront cabins were nice. Downfalls include a shared road through the campground with local residents who drive way too fast. Also, there were several non KOA people who drive in & park at the dock. They use the campground dock & shore front area despite not being guests. This all right by our cabin. Didn’t feel super secure.

We had a wonderful month staying at the KOA in January. It wasn't far from Perdido Key or other main beaches but we honestly just really enjoyed our time at the park. There is a beach on the bay, great fishing, and our kids even caught crabs. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived to the area earlier than expected and ended up booking two nights here. We loved it! Staff extremely nice, great fishing pier, nice beach area, we launched our kayak and enjoyed the bay, saw dolphins in the bay, easy access to gulf shores area to enjoy the beaches. Facilities were clean and easily accessible. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. I would really like to get a group of people together and rent the cabins down by the water…looks like such a neat area! Will stay again!
