This campground was clean and well maintained and within walking distance of the beach and a long pier with benches. There are 2 nice dog parks and many of the people had dogs but you never heard barking. Will definitely stay at this park again.

This is a very nice park. Sites are very level. When we originally made our reservation, we made it for 11 days. I went back on the day we were to check out and they were able to extend our stay, at a different site. She bent over backwards to find a new site for us.

We loved everything about it except there didn't seem to be rules for allowing your dog to bark.

Unfortunately for such a nice area the spaces are extremely cramped, and there seemed to not be any organization among the staff.

Peaceful and quiet location near the bay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The spaces are close together and the smaller pull through spots need to be regraded and graveled. The roads need to be resurfaced. They are water grooved and pitted. Overall its a great place to stay if you want access to Perdido Key Bay and restful place to stay.

Weekend stay in DK6 to be close to family for a Christmas party. I've stayed here several times and my expectations are in line with the accommodations. However, the quality of the bed was bad. Sagging in the middle and extremely uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced. For the price, I was disappointed as the only thing we did there was (try to) sleep.

Great, friendly staff that as very responsive to questions. The camping spot was exactly as advertised, in excellent condition. The amenities and special touches contributed to a wonderful, relaxing, quiet stay. Coffee in the morning sitting by the bay...you know you want it

Freaking awesome this place rocks! Waterfront cabin was perfect, was able to pull my boat up to the beach. Definitely coming back and not far from the house. A++ except renting a golf cart to have the housekeeper take off on it for awhile and had to get another one.

Loved the property! My husband asked if we could park car there and was charged $10 + a day?? I think that is a little expensive?? But other than that Great place, nice people!

Everyone working the campground was very helpful and inviting. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the Gulf Shores area. All of the campers were very friendly and cordial. Went to Thanksgiving dinner that they provided and food was great.

We had a good stay at the KOA. I liked the people. Our only issue came when we checked in. There are signs all over that say that if you are unhappy with your site, you have one hour to talk to them about it. I checked my email receipt. We were given a patio site. When I registered, I signed up for a $42 a night site, this one was $62. I felt like it was a bait and switch.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We travel in a skoolie (school bus conversion) and we were greeted without discrimination like most campgrounds. The staff people is just amazing. We heard that there is a new owner coming in Dec 2021. It might be a different story from there, but from what we experienced we would give 10/10.

Could’ve been a 5 if pool was swimable. Beautiful but 65 degrees water is too cold for folks w arthritis. Never saw 1 person in the pool all week ����

The campground itself was nice but there was no laundry. We stayed in the deluxe cabin. When we entered it smelled so bad it took three days to get the smell out. The bed was like sleeping on a raft. The entire cabin was out dated and needs a face lift with a new bed. New , bed, curtains and furniture.

Staff is amazing! This was our second time here. Weather was gorgeous. Rained 50% on one day. All in all excellent camping.

False advertising. No Gulf access. No long fishing pier. Sites are 2 feet apart. Not level at all, just dirt sand and roots. Bathroom bad, showers cold.

Not easy to get in and out with a 41’ 5th wheel, entry and exit roads are very, very steep. Friendtly staff

Great place, and the view from our site was awesome !! Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Compared to other KOA’s we’ve stayed at, the bath houses could use updating. We would still stay again if we make it down that way again.

WiFi needs work, the Campground say they have WiFi but is needs to be upgraded. With more dependence on WiFi these days it’s something that all properties should upgrade.

Staff was great giving countless directions. We wanted to make sure we thanked Jeff who helped us in getting setup and helping with the problems with our camper. We've never had such wonderful treatment at a campground. Will be back.

I just in a deluxe cabin that was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were very well kept and it had everything needed. I would definitely stay again.

A beautiful location right on the bay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They also had Thanksgiving dinner for all the campers there over the holiday. We had other plans so weren’t able to attend, but I thought it was such a great thing to do.

Campsites are the closest we have experienced. First night someone checked in beside us at 11 pm and proceeded to fully set up camp.

It was an awesome stay. The campgrounds and location couldn't have been better. Jeff really made us feel welcome and helped out tremendously.

We had a wonderful month staying at the KOA in January. It wasn't far from Perdido Key or other main beaches but we honestly just really enjoyed our time at the park. There is a beach on the bay, great fishing, and our kids even caught crabs. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived to the area earlier than expected and ended up booking two nights here. We loved it! Staff extremely nice, great fishing pier, nice beach area, we launched our kayak and enjoyed the bay, saw dolphins in the bay, easy access to gulf shores area to enjoy the beaches. Facilities were clean and easily accessible. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. I would really like to get a group of people together and rent the cabins down by the water…looks like such a neat area! Will stay again!
