Friendly staff, beachy feel, Older park with uneven roads. Sites nice, cement sitting area with picnic table, furniture, swing, charcoal grill and fire pit. Pool was unseated and hot tub was small and not very strong. Beach area very small, nice dock. Has dog park and propane. Needs some updating.

We stayed in one of the cabin lodges. Needs some work. I’m sure the campground itself is and seemed very nice. The cabin we were in the starfish had bugs like roaches. The bathroom door would not close all the way it’s a sliding type door. Also hot water didn’t last but a couple minutes. Front door area needs cleaning and dead bolt didn’t work.

Grounds were nice. Waterfront cabins were nice. Downfalls include a shared road through the campground with local residents who drive way too fast. Also, there were several non KOA people who drive in & park at the dock. They use the campground dock & shore front area despite not being guests. This all right by our cabin. Didn’t feel super secure.

The amenities are excellent . Jeff is very dedicated to his work and LeeAnn is very good in her housekeeping duties . Nette is very professional as manager . We will certainly be back ..We were there for 21 days this Halloween .

Lovely, well-kept, older quiet park with mature trees providing lots of shade. A level site between trees, but might be tight for larger rigs. Right on the bay, so we rented a pontoon boat for the day. Kids enjoyed the pool.

very nice campground, everything was good except for site markings. I choose a grassy spot but did not know I was between to hedges until attendant showed me where I needed to park. They had everything I needed or wanted for top ranked campground.

Staff was great, scenic location. Most of the sites are just sand pull ins, hard to get level. The dumpster was overflowing with a number of feral cats hanging around. Mens showers were awful, started with warm water, the just cold, one shower stall was not even working, mold visible on walls, the whole mens toilet/shower area needs serious rehab.

We are new at RV camping so this was our first two nights. Staff very helpful and accommodations was great.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Maintenance gentleman was very knowledgeable and willing to offer any assistance that I needed if I had trouble. I was had issues with my hydraulic slide outs and he told me that when I started to close them he would be there in case I needed help.

The campground was nice, and the staff were all very friendly. The only thing that I didnt like was the fire pit was built into the ground so there was a high possibility of accidentally stepping in it at night if the wasnt a fire burning to see were it was.

The staff is fantastic! They went out of their way to help us, and as we rented two cabins for our family and my sister-in-law's family, they were able to move us to be next door. Linens were provided along with sleeping bags in case the kids got cold. The fire ring in front of the cabin with surrounding benches is where we spent most of our time. A very quiet and relaxing stay.

Very enjoyable, friendly helpful staff, liked the shrubs on our site giving more privacy. Liked access to the bay. Patio and swing were great. Site was level but I prefer concrete

Would give it the top rating if not for the showers. One shower gave hot water every time, the middle shower was barely warm, and the shower nearest the stalls was always ice cold. Besides that the campground was wonderful. Very friendly.

Had a nice pull through. Enjoyed the pull through patio site. Staff was friendly. Love how quiet it is at night. We have stayed there several times and will be back.

Just overnight for us on this trip, but the location (although quite a ways from the I-10) was terrific. Only downside is the park is pretty tightly packed together, but everyone was friendly and helpful.

Great view of water from the top hill camping spot. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. It was a quiet site everyone was friendly had a fab time definitely will be coming back.

SUCH A CUTE KOA!!! Right there on Lost Bay in Alabama and a short walk to their own little private beach & dock, this KOA is a Gem! I've already recommended this KOA to a fellow traveler! The staff was friendly & very helpful (Thanks, Jeff!)-We really love the KOA's that have the ability to escort rigs to sites..Very helpful especially if you come in after dark. Great Little KOA!

The pictures of the campgrounds were very deceiving! Really could not call what they had a beach.And people working there were not as friendly as other KOA camps that we have stayed at!

As always, the staff was most accommodating, still smiling even after I changed future reservations 3 times (in one day!)! The grounds were well maintained by helpful, courteous (often humorous!) guys! The organized, event filled Halloween party was enjoyed by all and we were even followed to our RV by well wishers proclaiming we had won the costume prize! See you back in Sept.on SS3! The Millers

Very tight spots, rude and unfriendly staff, owner requires the staff to use A tractor to remove a tow vehicle from a coach if the owner is not home to disconnect. When renting a pull through, you should not have to disconnect, they are Pulling rig through the grass as a main travel road in between sites. Terrible setups, really close to your neighbors. Smoke from neighbors camper come in rig

Very run down. In need of improvements and updating. Drives are very uneven and uncomfortable to walk on.

Hosts route RVs through an unmarked grassy area that is not designated as a road, will not allow car parking in what appears to be the RV’s site. There are no markings on the grassy area indicating a road, but the golf cart host would not let me hook up the night before we left the park. Threatened to “drag it with a tractor” if he hadn’t found us. Office confirms this is owner’s policy.

Our second stay... Lovely park near great beaches and restaurants, clean bathrooms, dryers that dry without adding additional quarters, large sites. We will stay here again.

The location was great. Employees were also great. The only knock is that the facilities were a little dated, usable but could definitely use a refresher. Also at $46 a night for a tent site that is pretty excessive, should be in the $20 to $25 range in my opinion. Overall a great place with potential to be even better.

Some of the infrastructure is getting tired not uncommon in older parks from our experience but the customer service was very very good. We are seldom disappointed when staying at KOAs wish there were more.

We had a wonderful month staying at the KOA in January. It wasn't far from Perdido Key or other main beaches but we honestly just really enjoyed our time at the park. There is a beach on the bay, great fishing, and our kids even caught crabs. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived to the area earlier than expected and ended up booking two nights here. We loved it! Staff extremely nice, great fishing pier, nice beach area, we launched our kayak and enjoyed the bay, saw dolphins in the bay, easy access to gulf shores area to enjoy the beaches. Facilities were clean and easily accessible. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. I would really like to get a group of people together and rent the cabins down by the water…looks like such a neat area! Will stay again!
