Campground was clean but the showers/restrooms need an upgrade with any circulating air…. Pool @9ft deep was awesome.

The cabin we stayed in had 3 forks and there was 4 people in the cabin. The sofa was a nightmare to sleep on. The table and chairs was made for 2. The stove sat off the smoke alarm every time we cooked. Over priced for what we got. The pool was nice. The campground was nice.

Everything was good as usual, the only issue was the cable/internet tv was broken. The staff was very helpful and friendly, I always enjoy my stay there.

As always Gulf Shores KOA is our choice to stay when traveling to Alabama/Florida beaches. The cabins are a home away from home with many amenities.

Wanted to be in a koa close to Destin. This is the closest- however it was a tad bit disappointing. No ac in extremely hot rest room and one restroom didn’t even have a fan :( we unfortunately had ants and roaches in our room This koa is not one to write home about. The only good thing was the swimming pool- but when your there to spend time at the beach- the beach wins.

Worst KOA I have stayed at! Campground is very small and not well maintained. Deluxe Cabins are horrible and very outdated. Day 1 I got locked in my cabin and had to climb out of the window until I could get a hold of someone the next morning. Day 2 after being out at the beach all day we get back and our cabin is INFESTED with roaches. This place if filthy. Never again!!!

We were very unhappy that there were roaches in both cabins our group stayed in. The park has a nice location but lacks in cleanliness.

It's nice to have a place to go near the beach during peak season that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! The rates for the accommodations are a great value. The pool was very cloudy. While the pool had several people swimming in it (mid-day) the maintenance guys poured in 2 gals. of chlorine and did not have the pool evacuated. THIS IS VERY, VERY UNSAFE! I wish check-in was earlier.

Loved the front desk staff; Kabin needed some updating/attention; skirting rotted; front door was filthy; grounds not as well maintained as we remember; pool needed cleaning. We will go back though.

It was a very cute cozy cabin, the bay on the other hand looked like brown tea, but the day we’re leaving we got to see dolphins splashing around

Very cute cabins! But, a/c took a long time to cool, I had to buy 2 fans. Hard to reach anyone on the phone line. Never did get connected to the internet with the advertised "free wi-fi". We enjoyed our time, and bathrooms were very clean.However, the staff didn't seem too concerned with either thing that was not up to par. Chubbys pizza next door was worse pizza i think ive had. No plasticware

Firstly, we were very happy to find the cabins have A/C units. We messed up by spending the night in the wrong cabin, but the staff was very gracious about it. The price is very good for the area, and overall we had a great trip visiting my brother at Pensacola.

We enjoyed the stay. The cabin was very nice. The air conditioning was a bit hard to control with two window units and two mini splits but we stayed cool. Staff were very friendly.

Arrived to Delux cabin with smoke alarms going off. Found Kampground host who was very helpful. Cabin smelled. Sheets dirty. Floor filthy.

We stayed in cabin E right by the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful! All staff that we had contact with was very kind and pleasant. We will definitely be back.

There were things that can and cannot be controlled. The mud spaces were gross to trek through and the only way to the bathrooms. The flies were outrageous and swarming any food. Our kabin had no water source, so we had to go to the bathrooms every time we needed a spigot. There were air fresheners in the kabin that seemed like they were substitutes for cleaning. Loved the environment and the cabin was nice, only two things though; there seemed to be sand still left in the bed from previous people and the pool was always dirty with trash, ect. But other than that, I LOVE this koa and always will <3

The cabin was clean but the bathrooms were not. The door to our cabin had a large crack at the top so the flies could come on in. The waterfront location was beautiful. We only used this location as an overnight stay while traveling because Milton was full. I knew it would be more expensive because of the location but it was a bit rundown for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Didn't have the KOA amenities we are use too, cabins do not have a picnic table, cabins and campsites not spacious enough between each site. Cabin site didn't have a fire ring, the bed in the cabin was very uncomfortable. Washcloth and hand towl smelled soured. not okay guys.

Other than being in the camper next to the little pizza place and the carpet in the bedroom being wet and started to smell, Everything was great! It would be nice it that camper was facing the other way so that people that stayed in that one, felt as if they were actually part of the camp grounds.

When I tried to call multiple times no one answered. The space they gave us was so small and crowded that we could barely get our trailer in the space.

Had a lot of fun. The environment was nice, pool was nice and campground was really taken care of. Just have a few things I would like to see improved. We stayed in a cabin the tv was small. There was a small problem with bugs and the furniture needed to be updated. Maybe a little more kitchen supplies. Other than those few things had a lot of fun and will be returning to do it again.

I had a reservation for 4 nights. The first night I was escorted to an already occupied RV and then told I needed to get a hotel. I did find a hotel 30 miles away at around 11 at night. I returned to KOA for the second and third nights. The forth night my rv flooded and I was once again told to find a hotel at midnight. The manager has never contacted me to apologize which is appalling!

We had a great time. Being on the bay definitely made this trip. Enjoyed sitting on the swings listening to the water and watching beautiful sunsets.

1st stay @ KOA since pandemic/sold our RV but stayed in a deluxe cabin for 1st time. Very warm welcome @ office. Cabin met our needs & plan to return to stay longer. Would recommend placing a speedbump though, somewhere before DK1 because we could not BELEIVE how fast people drove into the park!

We had a wonderful month staying at the KOA in January. It wasn't far from Perdido Key or other main beaches but we honestly just really enjoyed our time at the park. There is a beach on the bay, great fishing, and our kids even caught crabs. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived to the area earlier than expected and ended up booking two nights here. We loved it! Staff extremely nice, great fishing pier, nice beach area, we launched our kayak and enjoyed the bay, saw dolphins in the bay, easy access to gulf shores area to enjoy the beaches. Facilities were clean and easily accessible. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. I would really like to get a group of people together and rent the cabins down by the water…looks like such a neat area! Will stay again!
