This is the third straight year we've stayed at this KOA over the Memorial day weekend. There will be a fourth although we're going to go the week prior. We've fallen in love with this place. The pool and hot tub is a nice feature which adds to the package. Perdido bay within spitting distance is great and the beautiful Gulf Coast beaches are close. This place has character!

We were extremely disappointed with our stay we had an "upgraded site" with a crumbling concrete pad with a great view of the road. Beyond a doubt the worst KOA we have stayed at out of the 50 or so that we have stayed in over the years. The park is old and shows it's age it needs some serious updating. Avoid this place if at all possible. Check it out on google maps satellite view.

The location is not convenient to Gulf Shores at all, so it really should be labeled the Pensacola KOA. The campground itself would benefit from some maintenance. We've stayed at KOA's in the past where the deluxe patio sites were very nice. This was ok at best. Some landscaping between sites would help with privacy. Their road to the bay is a disaster. We did get LP, which was great.

Amazing campground if you are looking for a peaceful quiet retreat with lots to do. Everyone was super friendly, the amenities were numerous and dogs were welcomed. You could come to stay here and never have to leave to explore to find things to do. We did have a problem with our dumping tank at the site but were able to use the one for the adjoining site.

It was a nice place but way out of the way to visit family and friends in Pensacola. The beach was non existent and playground left slot to be desired which was disappointing. However, the spots had plenty of room and pool was nice.

Last minute reservation, wish they could have given us another night but it was very nice. The site was perfect, however, a little grass trimming is in order

We had a major thunderstorm in the middle of the night...something we’re not really familiar with...but we’re surprised to wake up with the power on, no downed trees, well drained campground and everyone simply going about their business.

Nice place to stay. Friendly folks. We stayed in basic spot. Wish it had been more level. Spots are close together but it worked okay. Nice pool and play area.we will stay again.

Hi the showers and bathroom was old and my place to setup wasn't level at all. The people in the office were awesome.

We loved this campground, and the staff was super friendly. Everything was very clean, and the pool area was really nice. However, we were expecting the bay side beach to be usable and not overgrown, and for that reason alone we will try to stay at a different place when come back to the area. If you don't care about being a reasonable distance from a usable beach, then it is a perfect place.

Nice park, great views, quiet and a nice pool and hot tub. Our spot was pretty tight and we arrived after dark which made getting into our spot challenging but once we got situated it was great.

This is a great family owned campground. I had a 70 ft pull thru site. Nice pool, nice store, and a wonderful staff. We will definitely be back. See you again in February 2022.

Was very impressed with this KOA campground located between Golf Shores and Pensacola. Many things to do in the area. Staff very accommodating when we requested a third night stay. Bathrooms could use sprucing up.

It was a very pleasant stay with the KOA at Gulf Shores. Store was well stocked, very friendly staff, and great music on Saturday night. Highly recommend this KOA!

Great customer service, friendly team and guests, clean, great view! The only thing we didn't love was the spaces were a bit close together, and if you have an RV, your door opens to your neighbors' doors. It was a bit close for comfort for us. We were only there for a night so no big deal. but for longer stays we recommend getting a bigger space for sure. Overall it was great!

Beautiful property in a scenic and quiet location. I checked in about 5:45. Cable did not work and when I called after 6 the office was closed and there was no way to get help. Other campers told me that there was a problem but I was not told this at check in. No one called me in the morning to respond to my complaint about the lack of cable.

Our site (F16) was the smallest one in the campground. (I don't recommend this one) We booked our site at the last minute, so I kind of expected it to be one of lesser quality. It had "NO ROOM". ..just had room to park our camper and truck. Over all, the campground was very nice...the old trees were nice and shady. You definitely want to get one of those in the middle of summer.

Very nice people working the campground! We will stay again, but we will be more selective on the site. Our site was very small, we could not put out our awning. And it was totally in the sun.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds! Clean and so nice! We will be back! We had a corner lot with lots of privacy but yet we met so many nice people! The swing was a great touch! We used our fire ring and lawn furniture too!

Got a beautiful spot overlooking Perdido Bay, with a deck, grill, and fire pit. All utilities worked properly and in good condition. Enjoyed the pool and gift shop. The staff was very helpful and polite. True southern hospitality.

We had a wonderful month staying at the KOA in January. It wasn't far from Perdido Key or other main beaches but we honestly just really enjoyed our time at the park. There is a beach on the bay, great fishing, and our kids even caught crabs. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived to the area earlier than expected and ended up booking two nights here. We loved it! Staff extremely nice, great fishing pier, nice beach area, we launched our kayak and enjoyed the bay, saw dolphins in the bay, easy access to gulf shores area to enjoy the beaches. Facilities were clean and easily accessible. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. I would really like to get a group of people together and rent the cabins down by the water…looks like such a neat area! Will stay again!
