Our site was perfect for us with small kids. It was the only one with a large amount of green space and close to the park. Was nice to be close to Hinton and Jasper. Site were clean and well maintained. Found it very expensive though. Most expensive location we have stayed at this summer.

I checked the review before I booked this campground. It seems like the review on Google is not really positive,but since we don't have any other choice, so we give it a try. It's so worth it. We are so lucky to have a spot with just one sided neighbor. It's close to the washroom and the playground. Will definitely stay next time if we travel there again.

The price wasn't worth having no fire pit nor any trees. You're essentially paying a large sum to stay in a parking lot. I called and booked for 4 people. The person on the line made a mistake and booked for 3 people. I called to have it changed and they emailed me to say they added an adult but failed to send me an updated quote, so I wasn't impressed when I was charged an additional 30 dollars.

This was a very clean campground, but it was not suited to our needs. It was extremely open and the campsite we were assigned was not appropriate for a camper. Not being able to have a fire was disappointing as well. We left a day early because we were unable to put our awning out (it would have been over the tent on the next site). The whole place was way too congested.

Our campsite was very good, clean and bathrooms/ showers were clean , so there was a comfort to using them and staying at this KOA . But was definitely more expensive then what needed and what was offered.

Staff were friendly,washroom is clean.Just not much privacy because site are close with each other.Long holiday cause run out of charcoal.Nowhere to be found,expecting that it is already provided.But was still able to cook..nice camp kitchen.Didn't got cold,good heater despite rain & fall season.Nice souvegnir shop.Would like to come back again.

After the booking we called the campground to find out our site number because we would be arriving after the office would be closed there were no additional instructions communicated. The morning after our arrival our booking was canceled. We did not know we needed to take a brochure from the office at arrival. These instructions should have been shared when we said we’d arrive late.

We were placed in lot #11. Even though there were water issues on either side of us that had to have ground dig up for repairs. Our power and water had to be cut off for hours. We have a white dog who was playing in the disturbed dirt pile. Also had water issues a couple of days before that! Then there was a huge black truck parked right next to us for 4 days! No RV just a truck � NOT going ba

Moved twice and still had trouble reaching the electric plug-in which are yards away from the stalls & water connection. Their location made no sense. Owner told us to pull forward on grass to reach it. Later an employee told us, abruptly, that we weren’t suppose to be on the grass & would have to move. Had a hard time getting him to understand that we were told to park on the grass.

Nice campground. One thing I missed from many previous trips to this KOA was the lack of guides now to get people into their sites. Some people were driving around and around before they got oriented to the site.

Very clean, quiet location. Though we arrived after office closing time, the young male employee who was just leaving for the day, took a few extra minutes to welcome us and point us in the right direction. Definitely going above and beyond expectations! Best dog walk at any KOA we’ve ever stayed too! Thank you!

Very clean cabin. water went out next morning, was repaired for family in another cabin that evening, not mine. no shower or hand washing in my cabin, I had to go to washroom building. reason I booked upgraded cabin was to avoid public washroom. I called next morning said it had been fixed day before. I said not my cabin, they came, fixed it then. Nice people but poor communication and attention.

Had the water tap blow up in my hand, but a call to the office and they came and fixed it right away. Staff were pleasant as was the maintenance person. Fixed and worked well after that no complaints.

Not a bad campground, no fire pit at sites. Not treed at all so very windy. Nice clean campground. I’d say for an overnight er. Excellent. For camping, nope.

We loved the location of the site. Our cabin was cozy and warm. The kitchen did not have lights in it and there was not on sight fire pits so we had a really hard time figuring out how to cook our food! Campers should come prepared with everything they need as listed amenities are not as useful or accessible as advertised.

My one complaint was that there wasn't a firepit. The charcoal brazer was alright but a touch disappointing on a cold night. Otherwise, nice spot. Traffic noise wasn't terrible. Generally quiet. Alain was friendly. Facilities were clean. I found it a bit expensive but given I registered 2 weeks before camping, I won't complain. Thanks for the stay!

Average campground. Due for some maintenance and upgrades. Had an issue where we didn't have water for a day. No compensation offered. Some advanced notice would help those with rv's top up on a bit of water for some essentials in times like this. Camp site was also smelly due to the nearby sewer tank and sites are narrow and need some re levelling and landscape work.

This campground is not tenter friendly. It's a glorified field with bathrooms. There are no trees to block the wind or elements or neighbours and no fire pits. It was a very unpleasant stay.

Le terrain qu'on nous a assigné n'était pas adapté au besoin de notre roulotte. J'avais specifié que nous avions une 16 pieds et même si j'avais payer pour un accès à l'eau, la borne était tellement loin que je ne pouvais pas m'y rendre avec mon tuyau d'eau de 25 pieds. Il aurait fallu que je positionne ma roulotte dans le gazon. Sinon les gens marche sur les terrain des autres comme short

Friendly staff. Clean sites, we enjoy the cooking , fire pavilion. One thing that we were not happy with were that the showers need to be cleaned better.

Staff friendly and welcoming. We were with no water for a full day. No notice was given to us that there was a problem. Some communication would have been helpful.

My children stayed at the Hinton KOA for a couple of nights and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean, the grounds were well maintained, the bathrooms were clean and the staff were amazing and we had a super easy check-in and check-out experience. We will definitely be back!

Stay was good. Staff was good. Specifically requested a campsite close to the fenced dog park. Was told done. When checking in found out was moved to the opposite end. Not good customer service.

Hi the stay was very nice and the staff were friendly the only thing is that the new owners didn’t say that I got a discount usually I get a discount when I register I didn’t stay there last year other than that I really enjoyed staying there it’s not that far to Jasper and very close to Hinton

absolutely loved Hinton campground. highlights were the bathroom/shower house pristinely clean. with 3dogs we very much enjoyed the agility course and the dog run area. Would have preferred a campfire on site as main/only campfire was not going nor enough wood to start it up. Unfortunately the 5 days we were there 2.5 days were problematic as the sewage/water was not working properly

Beautiful sky- ive seen the most stars and shooting stars in one night. So peaceful and quite. Washroom is clean. Like the fact that, a communal kitchen with stove is provided.Will definitely come back.

Very comfortable but the bathrooms definitely need more attention. The place to wash dishes is awesome and the cabins are clean and perfect for the weekend

The sites are all open as others have mentioned, so there is not much privacy. The gates close at 11 pm, which is a bit frustrating considering the town of Jasper is 45 minutes away and therefore if you're dining or hanging out in Jasper you have to rush back to make sure you make the gate it time otherwise your locked out. It would also be difficult for those wanting to take a day trip to Banff and have to return back to the campground in time. I understand making the campground safe by locking the gate, but perhaps closing the gate should occur a bit later maybe midnight? Only other complaint would be is we had to cancel the final night of our stay which was 3 days away, but we were not given any refund. We were aware of the 48 hour cancellation policy, but the policy means before arrival ONLY… despite if the date you're cancelling is more than 48 hours away… so that was a bit disappointing.

Loved our stay, however it was not the best. Had lots of trouble with the vending machines and washer and dryers taking our money and not working properly. Staff usually weren't around for us to bring up the concern because it always happened after hours. Other than that I would say the experience was great! It was quiet, and the spot that we had set up our camper in also had a concrete slab with its own picnic table which was really nice. For the most part we were out exploring so it was more less a place for us to set up. I would say it is slight over priced for what you get out of it.
