Yappy dogs were an issue for all 4 nights of our stay. Hkowever thats the fault of the camper not the campground

We stayed in the delux cabin. It was super clean when we arrived. All the facilities were clean. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay here.

We had to smell the septic field which was unpleasant. The site was rough ground had sunk around the water and electrical hookups, muddy and wet. Roads full of potholes and rough driving.

Awesome stay, great maintenance staff and cabin were great. Washrooms could have been closer for the cabins and a few more trees planted to help with wind but it's clearly a new site so hopefully that'll come with time

Beautiful campground, beautiful view. The smell of sewage is so bad we couldnt even enjoy our patio on the site we reserved.

People were awesome it was very clean. We were placed close to the septic vents so it smelled of sewage.

One of few full service campgrounds near jasper that is open. Campground is under new management and can tell. Looks like lake of maintenance. Shower floor is peeling, flower pots full of weeds, pot holes in road. Owners need to put money in upkeep! Some staff have limited English speaking and should not be working the front desk. Sad as the previous owners took such good care of the place.

As all KOAs I have ever been too it is what I call "parking lot camping" so if you are looking for seclusion or privacy not the place to be. If you are looking for a clean, well kept place to park either overnight on your way or as a home base to see the area this is a great spot to be. Good amenities, exceptionally clean washrooms/showers. Nice areas for pets.

This was a lovely, quiet campsite to share with lots of families and while it was full over the August long weekend, it never felt crowded. The water pressure of the hook-ups suffers a little from that volume of campers, but filling the RV tank works well. Our toddler (3 y.o.) loved the playground, the creeks, and the views of the "Misty Mountains!" We only wish it were closer to Jasper!

One night stay. Camp was busy but quiet. Reservation was easy to get. Will stay again next summer.

Only reason I am giving low rating is the smeel from the sewer underground tank. We were allocated site#66 , KOA Hinton which is few meters away from the tank and tank has 4-5 gooseneck vents. I am surprised to note why KOA hasn’t consider this aspect. Otherwise, front desks stuffs are excellent, washrooms are good. Thanks

Friendly helpful staff. Good clean camping areas. Excellent view of the mountains. Would be nice with more tree's to give a little shade.

We stayed for 3 nights at KOA Hinton location. Location was pretty good. However in cabins, beds and mattress was very noisy. For each spot/cabin, barbeque grill was provided but those were not cleaned or in other words not hygienic. Would suggest to carry your own carry on barbeque. Water in washrooms was yellow in color. Seems ground water was used. Overall can't give more than 3 rating.

Not very good for tents. No trees shielding you from other campers and no trees to put up tarps. it’s fine if you just need a place to stay and not if you actually want a camping experience. Also no fire pits so that sucked. Not worth it for the price

We were delighted with our stay. After some questionable campgrounds on our vacation is was a surprise to find one that the owners genuinely cared about. I hope to come back again as we cross the country in the future. Great work guys�

Really enjoyed stay . Site size was adequate and fairly level. The biggest concern was the height of the sewer hook up. I was unable to drain my tanks because the hookup on my rev was lower than the pipe to drain into.

Beautiful place close to Jasper with all the stores at proximity in Hinton. Only 2 Km. The only thing is strong smell of sour at times. Need more gravel at sites. It was very muddy after rainfall

Lovely spot. Appreciated that the tent sites were grass and level. Downsides were bathrooms not as clean as I expected, showers in both washrooms were out of order leaving very few for a full campground. The biggest disappointment was that quiet hours were not enforced. A large group of people were laughing and talking loudly until sometime after midnight.

Site was fully serviced and clean. washrooms were very clean , check in was easy with friendly service would have given it a higher rating if it wasn't so expensive and at least 45 min to a hour drive from Jasper. Some trees within the campground would be nice, but I guess trees can cause havoc in a storm if you are out in a flat area with no protection of mountains to break the wind.

Registration was prompt and courteous. The site was freshly mowed and free of litter and the washrooms were very clean. The only drawback there was a very large group (multiple families) that were congregating at the nearby cook shelter (well above the posted COVID occupancy level) which made the one day very loud.

First time staying here. Very well kept up in cleanliness and maintenance. Sites a bit close together. Being able to have own firepit rather communal one considering we have to social distance would have been nice. Otherwise, nice campground. Friendly hosts. Would certainly come back again! (A bike/walking path to Hinton in the future??)

We quite enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. The only thing that would have made it better would be a firepit at our campsite and trees that we could hang our hammock from. Thanks!!

We really liked the way they bring you to your site.Great dog park and nice long walk for our puppy.Very friendly staff and helpful.Easy to get to campground from great signage.

The sites are all open as others have mentioned, so there is not much privacy. The gates close at 11 pm, which is a bit frustrating considering the town of Jasper is 45 minutes away and therefore if you're dining or hanging out in Jasper you have to rush back to make sure you make the gate it time otherwise your locked out. It would also be difficult for those wanting to take a day trip to Banff and have to return back to the campground in time. I understand making the campground safe by locking the gate, but perhaps closing the gate should occur a bit later maybe midnight? Only other complaint would be is we had to cancel the final night of our stay which was 3 days away, but we were not given any refund. We were aware of the 48 hour cancellation policy, but the policy means before arrival ONLY… despite if the date you're cancelling is more than 48 hours away… so that was a bit disappointing.

Loved our stay, however it was not the best. Had lots of trouble with the vending machines and washer and dryers taking our money and not working properly. Staff usually weren't around for us to bring up the concern because it always happened after hours. Other than that I would say the experience was great! It was quiet, and the spot that we had set up our camper in also had a concrete slab with its own picnic table which was really nice. For the most part we were out exploring so it was more less a place for us to set up. I would say it is slight over priced for what you get out of it.
