The camp ground is spacious and convenient for family camping, both for the tent site and the cabins. We stayed for 2 nights, with plans to explore the area around Maligne Canyon/Lake on the 2nd day but due to the rainy weather we ended up spending quality family time within the campgrounds.The power on one of the cabins went off but it was immediately fixed.

We were 7 families visiting Jasper and booked 6 deluxe cabins to have nice vacation based on my previous stay with KOA's in USA. this time experience was horrible specially the issues we had during stay. the manager and staff didn't listened to our complaints. couple of cabins have no water and heater not working. problems never solve. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. As it is forgiven to cook inside the cabin in this KOA campgroung, it would be nice to have roof outside, either over the barbecue or close to it, to be able to cook outside when it rains. Otherwise, we had a really nice stay !

We had booked 2 cabins and they gave us far apart . One cabin had a clogged washroom on check in.

Staff were friendly,washroom is clean.Just not much privacy because site are close with each other.Long holiday cause run out of charcoal.Nowhere to be found,expecting that it is already provided.But was still able to cook..nice camp kitchen.Didn't got cold,good heater despite rain & fall season.Nice souvegnir shop.Would like to come back again.

Very clean cabin. water went out next morning, was repaired for family in another cabin that evening, not mine. no shower or hand washing in my cabin, I had to go to washroom building. reason I booked upgraded cabin was to avoid public washroom. I called next morning said it had been fixed day before. I said not my cabin, they came, fixed it then. Nice people but poor communication and attention.

We loved the location of the site. Our cabin was cozy and warm. The kitchen did not have lights in it and there was not on sight fire pits so we had a really hard time figuring out how to cook our food! Campers should come prepared with everything they need as listed amenities are not as useful or accessible as advertised.

My children stayed at the Hinton KOA for a couple of nights and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean, the grounds were well maintained, the bathrooms were clean and the staff were amazing and we had a super easy check-in and check-out experience. We will definitely be back!

Hi the stay was very nice and the staff were friendly the only thing is that the new owners didn’t say that I got a discount usually I get a discount when I register I didn’t stay there last year other than that I really enjoyed staying there it’s not that far to Jasper and very close to Hinton

Beautiful sky- ive seen the most stars and shooting stars in one night. So peaceful and quite. Washroom is clean. Like the fact that, a communal kitchen with stove is provided.Will definitely come back.

Very comfortable but the bathrooms definitely need more attention. The place to wash dishes is awesome and the cabins are clean and perfect for the weekend

I have emailed corporate, tried to discuss our issues on site staff and Facebook messenger to the specific KOA site. Please provide an email to discuss our unaddressed concerns about people smoking marijuana in the communal fire pit around our infant.

Unfortunately Bathrooms were filthy and smelled awful. Very Dirty. Showers were dirty. Even the control remote for the TV in our cabin was sticky and unclean. I understand that its a campsite but there are simple measures for cleanliness in bathrooms that were not maintained. We stayed in a KOA in Leavenworth and it was VERY well maintained and clean. We thought it would be the same experience.

The place is really beautiful! It's not cramped which gives lots of privacy to emevery campers in each sites. Bathrooms & showers are well maintained. Most of all staff are very friendly. We wi surely comeback here.

One of the cabin washroom tub is clogged. Water is coming out from the tub while taking a shower. Water all over the floor of the washroom. But the rest of the cabins were good. We had a good stay. Definitely will come back.

We had a very short overnight stay - we arrived late and had to leave the next morning. Late arrival check-in went smoothly. Our cabin was great - clean and warm. Amenities were clean and as expected. We've already booked our next stay.

No option to find another firm mattress for the bed in the "Deluxe" cabin. Young guy ( the person in charge)said to us nobody in the tourism industry can offer you this kind of service, Really?? We have to ask for another BBQ, they brought another one and they spent half and hour trying to initiate it. then we spent one hour cleaning this device. Last two days the smelling was terrible.

Well equipped camping site! It even has a kitchen!!! Very helpful staffs. Open space so you’ll be able to see Rockies from your tent.

Not what we expected no fires and no swimming pools and bathroom were old and not well maintained and cleaning wasn’t the greatest and we stayed at a lot of koas before at least they have a swimming pool and activity for everyone and a games area

The cabin we stayed in was clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The mini fridge was really great for keeping our food safe and cold and the camp kitchen was awesome!! The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked. We had a great stay overall!

Awesome stay, great maintenance staff and cabin were great. Washrooms could have been closer for the cabins and a few more trees planted to help with wind but it's clearly a new site so hopefully that'll come with time

We stayed for 3 nights at KOA Hinton location. Location was pretty good. However in cabins, beds and mattress was very noisy. For each spot/cabin, barbeque grill was provided but those were not cleaned or in other words not hygienic. Would suggest to carry your own carry on barbeque. Water in washrooms was yellow in color. Seems ground water was used. Overall can't give more than 3 rating.

Very friendly staff and clean cabin. But, would've liked to see better upkeep of the flower pots and gardens. So many weeds! Also, the blinds in our room were broken so privacy was an issue and during 35°C weather a fan that worked well would've been nice.

Very clean camping area. We stayed in cabin. Small but rustic and quaint. Great spot if you are planning to tour and hike the area. It would have been good to have a microwave or hot plate, but I think they were removed due to Covid. We made do with the BBQ. The wind continued to blow out flame but it was manageable. Very clean washroom facilities and friendly staff. Would recommend!

It was a great stay! Our first time. Loved the cabin. Noticed half the showers are out of order in one of the buildings and a set of cooking elements don't work in the cooking area. Other than that it was great! We'd stay again. All the employees were very friendly! Thanks so much!

I’ve already recommend this place not sure about those bad reviews on this place, staff were very nice over the phone the only reason I gave 4 is that when we asked at 1 of their lady staff over the phone if it’s allowed to cook inside the cabin although we’ve noticed on their website says it is not allowed She guaranteed that we can cook inside we just need to bring our own pots and pans et

We rented a patio cabin. There were 4 of us. It was great. Inlike that you supply BBQ's and the cook house is great. Will definitely be staying again.

The sites are all open as others have mentioned, so there is not much privacy. The gates close at 11 pm, which is a bit frustrating considering the town of Jasper is 45 minutes away and therefore if you're dining or hanging out in Jasper you have to rush back to make sure you make the gate it time otherwise your locked out. It would also be difficult for those wanting to take a day trip to Banff and have to return back to the campground in time. I understand making the campground safe by locking the gate, but perhaps closing the gate should occur a bit later maybe midnight? Only other complaint would be is we had to cancel the final night of our stay which was 3 days away, but we were not given any refund. We were aware of the 48 hour cancellation policy, but the policy means before arrival ONLY… despite if the date you're cancelling is more than 48 hours away… so that was a bit disappointing.

Loved our stay, however it was not the best. Had lots of trouble with the vending machines and washer and dryers taking our money and not working properly. Staff usually weren't around for us to bring up the concern because it always happened after hours. Other than that I would say the experience was great! It was quiet, and the spot that we had set up our camper in also had a concrete slab with its own picnic table which was really nice. For the most part we were out exploring so it was more less a place for us to set up. I would say it is slight over priced for what you get out of it.
