Upon checking in was told he was too busy to take us to site.No one was in ft or behind us .We were in site 64 and put our truck on the next site to unload groceries. The owner banged on our door as my wife answered he rudely told us to move as that was not our spot and the new people were there. She tried to explain but all he would say was “not your spot, not your spot” He needs cust serv 101

Great place to stay, close to Jasper, Also Hinton has great mountain bike and walking paths at the boardwalk.

On the basic end of most KOA we’ve been too. No activities( could blame COVID). Communal fire pit only, which is a great idea but very stingy on the firewood and hour a fire is allowed, which makes it difficult if you are relying on one for cooking.

When entering the KOA the access bridge had several large pot holes in the road right before the bridge that needed some much needed attention. The pull thru site was very easy to access with our truck and 40 foot fifth wheel. Staff were friendly and courteous. I was surprises that no one led me to my site, as they had done during our previous stays at this location. The grounds were clean.

Beautiful campground, great that it is so pet friendly and the staff there are great! Thank you!

As always we enjoyed our stay. As we travel with our dog we enjoy the dog run area, however it may be time to do some work on it. As well, there are several areas where it looks like they've worked on the power water connections that need some work backfilling and landscaping. I'm sure it's a constant process. I wish there were more KOA's in Alberta we could use.

Very helpful At check-in. Wi-Fi could be better but other services provided were fine. Campground it was very clean and the check-in staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

We just stayed overnight and did not unhook our camper from the truck. Our site was muddy but that was because of the large amount of rain the area has seen lately. Staff were friendly at check in and even though we did not have a reservation they found a site for us

We booked full hookup and power with water but the water faucet was broken couldn't use the water. I tried calling the on call manager 3 times but no answer each time. What is the sense of having an on site manager that doesn't answer shenanigans people need them. Not very happy. We have booked again hopefully this visit will be better.

disappointing

It was Very windy with no shelter from trees. There were no fire pits at the sites to keep warm or enjoy cooking over the open flame. The group area fire pit had no wood and was also not useful. The limited bathroom access and showers were nice and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodated out refund. There were no walking trails for people or there pets. We will not return

Large pot holes at entrance bridge, please fix. Staff pleasant and helpful, Campsite is large open field, it this is your thing then its not a bad place to spend a night.

Horrible experience! Not worth the money! Place was a mud pit, showers were dirty, wifi sucked, rude owners, tap leaked, spots were too tight

Great place to stay & excellent views of mountains close by. Close to Jasper. Highly recommended by a RV Parts guy.

Nice it’s just rainy and windy but we enjoyed it..

Awesome view of the mountains, very clean and staff are super friendly.

It's a big field....the best part was the site we had, patio site with a view and no neighbors on one side. With our low camper, the sewer hose was running uphill therefore useless to hook up. The bathrooms were not clean, showers old and dingy and not clean. I'm not a princess by all means, but with the whole Covid situation and $100 a night, I expected better.

We were there for 5 nights. We were situated next to the common cooking are so on the weekend with rain it became a gathering place and privacy and noise became issues. Very friendly staff and well cared for grounds.

No fires are allowed! I says over and over on the website that no tents are allowed but we did not see anywhere that says no fires are allowed. As a result we needed to go and buy a bbq so we could cook. We paid a lot of money for the premium spot and were stuffed in the smallest site on the lot. The sewer connections are actually above the spot you park in by like 18 inches.

A quick 1 night stay but the accommodations were clean and the grass was very well maintained.

Very nice and clean grounds the only negative is we were put on a site that barely fit our 35 foot unit in length and there was other empty sites that would have been a better option.
Jun 24, 2020
Leaky water hookup, laundry machines not working, weak wifi, grass not cut until we left, picnic table needs painting/replaced. Campground was rough around the edges, had no character or attractiveness.

Crottes de chien sur notre terrain à notre arrivée; briquettes de charbon arrivées de nulle part... disons que la propreté du site laisse à désirer.

As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view, helpful staff; we will be back again this summer.

The pictures in your ad show treed sites. Not a tree at the sites. Clean washrooms and showers were nice. Nice view of the mountains.

Quiet. Peaceful. Private. Friendly.

Our spot the power did not work and I called and texted and never got a answer back or a text. Used power from empty lot beside ours?

Good pet areas, would prefer some trees for wind break and privacy. Waste lines are high for many rigs to gravity drain, we do not have a pump. Grass is in good condition.

The sites are all open as others have mentioned, so there is not much privacy. The gates close at 11 pm, which is a bit frustrating considering the town of Jasper is 45 minutes away and therefore if you're dining or hanging out in Jasper you have to rush back to make sure you make the gate it time otherwise your locked out. It would also be difficult for those wanting to take a day trip to Banff and have to return back to the campground in time. I understand making the campground safe by locking the gate, but perhaps closing the gate should occur a bit later maybe midnight? Only other complaint would be is we had to cancel the final night of our stay which was 3 days away, but we were not given any refund. We were aware of the 48 hour cancellation policy, but the policy means before arrival ONLY… despite if the date you're cancelling is more than 48 hours away… so that was a bit disappointing.

Loved our stay, however it was not the best. Had lots of trouble with the vending machines and washer and dryers taking our money and not working properly. Staff usually weren't around for us to bring up the concern because it always happened after hours. Other than that I would say the experience was great! It was quiet, and the spot that we had set up our camper in also had a concrete slab with its own picnic table which was really nice. For the most part we were out exploring so it was more less a place for us to set up. I would say it is slight over priced for what you get out of it.
