It’s close to jasper. It’s clean . The overall is pretty good the down side no fire pit at trailers no Internet wifi small stalls.

Clean. Smoke free as no individual campfires are allowed. There is one common fire pit.

We have loved staying at this KOA in the past. This time it seems like things are getting a bit run down. There were water issues where we had no water for multiple mornings of our stay. Staff & ownership wasn’t as friendly and welcoming as typical for a KOA. Bathrooms frequently out of supplies.

The campground was very clean. But for the price you pay the size of your spot is very small. And there is no privacy at all between each campsite. So no we would not stay again.

This is a very nice campground ,however we were given a site that was very close to another campsite when it appeared that there were multiple open sites unoccupied that could have accommodated our unit making the experience even better for both us and our neighbor for the evening. These sites were still available when we checked out

This is a lovely, well kept campground, where we have stayed before. It is quiet (except for the highway noise, and the people were friendly and helpful.

Grounds are beautifully maintained, however sites are very close to each other. The water has a yellow tinge to it also which is very off-putting, especially when paying a pricey $85/night to be there.

very tight spaces. we had a pull through at 76.00 and we are seniors. campground we stayed at before that was 40.00 and after that was 40.00 camp was 15 min out of town!

My reservation was inputted incorrectly and I received an e-mail and phone call informing me to leave my camp site immediately while I was in Jasper for the day. Once we cleared everything up we didn’t receive an apology. The water was also shut off 3 days in a row all day long which was frustrating with a toddler.

Has potential but not looked after, Facilities are old, sites need major upgrading. Overpriced for what you get, 3 days of no water for 8hrs per day with very low water pressure. Water quality is terrible and no one monitors the speed limit and many campers were going very fast creating lots of dust and safety concerns with kids playing. Roads need some gravel and regrading because of potholes.

Stayed 8 days with great expectations having stayed there before. Water was very cloudy and poor water pressure. Staff shut down water system twice to make repairs...much appreciated. Wi-fi was hit and miss where as most KOA's supply excellent wi-fi service. The access bridge requires improvement at both ends. Thanks for asking.

I have stayed at the Hinton KOA quite a few times over the years. Twice now when I turned on the water and let it run before hooking up, i got rusty or dirty brown water. I can’t imagine why that should happen in such a busy park. Maybe those water supplies should be turned on and flushed on a regular basis. One worries about the quality of water they are about to drink.

Campground roads full of pot holes, very poor WiFi connection and band width, whole campground needs to be updated.

During our eight day stay, we had an three consecutive days where we were without water for hours at a time. On the 3rd day, we were without water for about 7 hours. In addition, about half the washers/dryers were out of service in the laundry. For $62-$72 per night, we expect much better service.

No paper towel in washroom water shutdown in middle of shower, laundry says 3 dollars, machine needs 6 dollars to run , very poor customer service

The people were friendly and helpful and the location is scenic but they were problems with the water. They ran out of water a few times and it was not part of the water since it was well water. Otherwise it was a good experience. The Wi-Fi was only good at all times when you were near the office, but we noticed that in other KOA’s as well

We were very disappointed to be told by this campground, that we were not able to obtain a refund for our potential stay, when a road to this campground was closed for eight hours due to a serious accident. We had hoped they would display empathy and understanding for this situation and provide us with a refund for an overnight stay which was not possible.

We had a pull thru site near the KOA kabins. We had many people walk thru our campsite to get to the washrooms. Unbelievable! This should be in your rules not to do this. They were literally 2 feet from our camper door. They don’t care.

Super clean and dog friendly. There was an off-leash playground as well as a large pet walk. RV sites were pretty standard (small grassy areas) and no privacy (no trees between sites). One of the best maintained RV parks we’ve been at.

First, we enjoyed the laundry room. We also appreciated that the sanitary block was open. However, it was very dirty. We made the comment to the manager and no changes were made. In the women's bathroom, toilet paper was left in one place on the floor for several days as well as toothpaste in the sink. Also one of the soap pumps in the men's bathroom was empty the entire time we were there.

The sites are all open as others have mentioned, so there is not much privacy. The gates close at 11 pm, which is a bit frustrating considering the town of Jasper is 45 minutes away and therefore if you're dining or hanging out in Jasper you have to rush back to make sure you make the gate it time otherwise your locked out. It would also be difficult for those wanting to take a day trip to Banff and have to return back to the campground in time. I understand making the campground safe by locking the gate, but perhaps closing the gate should occur a bit later maybe midnight? Only other complaint would be is we had to cancel the final night of our stay which was 3 days away, but we were not given any refund. We were aware of the 48 hour cancellation policy, but the policy means before arrival ONLY… despite if the date you're cancelling is more than 48 hours away… so that was a bit disappointing.

Loved our stay, however it was not the best. Had lots of trouble with the vending machines and washer and dryers taking our money and not working properly. Staff usually weren't around for us to bring up the concern because it always happened after hours. Other than that I would say the experience was great! It was quiet, and the spot that we had set up our camper in also had a concrete slab with its own picnic table which was really nice. For the most part we were out exploring so it was more less a place for us to set up. I would say it is slight over priced for what you get out of it.
