The sites are small and not well developed. Our next site people were sitting outdoors with a dog pen etc right up to the edge of the gravel on our site. Also they did not clean up their dogs poop which was deposited right next to our water/power hook-up. Some campers in our vicinity did not respect the quiet hours making a significant amount of noise around 0600 hrs. Taps are too low for filters.

Clean facilities. Lots could be bigger and treed. Noisy - people leaving their dogs unattended and either barking or unleashed, not cleaning up after their pets. People not respecting quiet time.

The campsite was very well maintained. I he bathrooms and showers were clean. Nice to have a large fire pit for everyone to enjoy.

It is a lovely setting. It would be nice to have more trees around the campsites themselves, for shade as well as some privacy and not so much like a lot full of RVs. I appreciated that the sites were clean and the people who camped were considerate of others. No one was noisy or had music blaring. The showers were great, but the toilets tended to be plugged, so that was annoying. Overall tho

Good place to stay. Has some grass area which is nice. Could use some maintenance, water hook up pipes have cracks or something and leak water.

We stayed for 3 nights and the washrooms and showers were not cleaned once. There was toilet paper on the floor when we arrive on monday and it was still there when we left. I even told the girl at the reception and nothing was done. The garbage bins were not emptied often. Very deceiving for a KOA.

Staff super polite and helpful staff, great area for walking. Dog park and playground were a bonus. Would of liked a pool. Close to amenities. Great step off into the mountains

WE enjoy our stays at the KOA Hinton. Jasper..the only thing is we would like to see the black and grey water access to be higher as it is difficult to completely empty the tanks...

Washrooms weren’t overly clean. Overpriced as there for kids to do. Charging extra fees for children to stay. Cable didn’t work. Parking trailers too close together when there were plenty of open spots. No park supervision, other campers having open fires (not gas fire pits). Poor selection of items in general store (no ice).

The soap and fabric softener dispensers in the laundry were full of gunk that should be cleaned out on a regular basis. Also the rubber seal on the washer door was stained orange and that transferred onto some of my clothing. I had to dispose of a t-shirt due to the staining. Everything else was good.

Stayed before and will stay again. Exceptionally clean bathrooms and showers. Good staff too. Needs some cosmetic upkeep tho - leaning posts, fence rail repair and paint, electrical posts need straightening. These small things are the first visuals. Easy to fix and means a lot. It’s like curb appeal- you can have a nice home, but if the yard needs work, that’s the first thing we see.

The camp ground it self is lovely. But the fact that the picnic tables for the site and most of the sites sit right with the neighbours sewer connection. It makes for a less than desirable area to relax

Stayed 13 nights, didn’t use the washrooms. Good steady power supply, water was ok but discoloured. We enjoyed our stay. Central to all activities. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend this place and will return in the future.

KOA is always a great place to stay. The facilities are always clean, in good shape, and in great working order. The area has great views and just is a great area to relax.

I stayed for 4 nights during July 1st Long weekend. Couple highlights of my dislike: 1. Sewage hose from my neighbour's site is located right in front of my trailer. 2. Water quality is a huge problem. I use a water filter, and at the end of my trip the filter was dripping out rusty water (the filter was brand new!) 3. My site is not flat, there are bumps here and there.

The managers were very helpful and friendly, the views of the mountains in the distance were great and the campground is conveniently close to Hinton.

The water had an iron taste and we weren’t able to drink it so had to purchase bottled water. This campground serves our needs as a place to sleep but we didn’t spend much time in our site and wouldn’t want to as there want much privacy. We enjoyed the pet walk and playground.

We were towing our RV trailer on our way to BC and broke down 20 minutes out of town. KOA had a spot for us and we had our trailer towed there while we waited the next day for our truck to be repaired. The staff were amazing! Friendly and helpful all the time. Our truck wasn't fixed until late in the afternoon, we checked out late and were not charged for late check out. Thanks KOA!

They make sure rules are followed by all guests which is fair to all campers. Camp ground, dog park, sites kept clean. Had a issue with men’s bathroom with pugged toilet and seat not clean and showers could be cleaner. Was there for 3 days finally went to office. The problem was fixed right away. Does that mean bathrooms are not cleaned at least twice a day? Other than that would come again.

Clean campsite, good walking trail for dogs. Wifi was spotty at best. Water was an off putting yellow colour and had a metallic taste. A little worrisome when it’s supposed to be drinking water.

We had asked for a certain site months in advance but they said it was booked. The site we wanted was not occupied for the time we were there. The site we did have had power issues and were the picnic table was was small and really i even. Was not happy seeing the one i preferred and has used several times before sitting empty.

Very unpleasant smell - it appears our site may have had a sewage issue in the past. Very open sites lacking any privacy. Lacking some amenities- pool, etc. Advertised 2 laundry rooms but one was closed and the other had 33% of the machines out of order. Very well maintained grounds and clean property.

Water coming out of the site was yellow and full of iron, likely a corroded pipe underground, but it stained everything it touched, and had a strong iron smell. Sites would definitely benefit from having some trees planted, providing some shade in the future.

Appreciated the off leash dog walking area and the dog play ground. The washrooms were wonderful - so clean.

The sites are all open as others have mentioned, so there is not much privacy. The gates close at 11 pm, which is a bit frustrating considering the town of Jasper is 45 minutes away and therefore if you're dining or hanging out in Jasper you have to rush back to make sure you make the gate it time otherwise your locked out. It would also be difficult for those wanting to take a day trip to Banff and have to return back to the campground in time. I understand making the campground safe by locking the gate, but perhaps closing the gate should occur a bit later maybe midnight? Only other complaint would be is we had to cancel the final night of our stay which was 3 days away, but we were not given any refund. We were aware of the 48 hour cancellation policy, but the policy means before arrival ONLY… despite if the date you're cancelling is more than 48 hours away… so that was a bit disappointing.

Loved our stay, however it was not the best. Had lots of trouble with the vending machines and washer and dryers taking our money and not working properly. Staff usually weren't around for us to bring up the concern because it always happened after hours. Other than that I would say the experience was great! It was quiet, and the spot that we had set up our camper in also had a concrete slab with its own picnic table which was really nice. For the most part we were out exploring so it was more less a place for us to set up. I would say it is slight over priced for what you get out of it.
