I-81 N or S: Take PA Exit 90. Turn left at traffic signal at off-ramp. (KOA is less than 1,000 feet from ramp). Look for the large log cabin/lighted sign at entrance, less than 50 yards from traffic signal at SR 72.

CURRENTLY Swatara CREEK IS TOO SHALLOW TO TUBE , so rentals have been paused.
2026 Campground Activities For Family-Friendly Fun:
The Swatara Creek is a pleasant novice run of moving water that courses a lazy path through mountain gaps and scenic farm country. You can put down the paddle, fish & float away the miles as you relax the day away.
We currently offer canoes (with weight limit of 400 lbs.) and tubes with canvas covers as rentals on Saturdays for our campers.
While floating the "Swattie", you'll have the opportunity to pass through Swatara State Park, a park that is currently undeveloped but open to the public for hiking, biking, fishing & hunting.
Take a lunch on your trip and enjoy a picnic along the banks of the "Swattie". The Park hosts Union Canal locks, fossil beds, a rail trail & the Appalachian Trail Bridge.
Unfortunately, during times of low rainfall, there are a few areas of the creek you must portage around and occasionally there is a fallen tree.
At varied times, we also offer sit-in kayaks (weight limit 250 lbs.), as well as sit-on single & tandem kayaks to rent.
Enjoy a round of mini golf with family and friends! Our fun and challenging course is perfect for all ages, making it a great way to unwind and add a little friendly competition to your stay.
Kids will love our spacious playground, the perfect spot to climb, slide, and burn off energy while parents relax nearby. Whether it's a quick play break or an afternoon of fun, our playground is a great way for families to enjoy the outdoors together!
