Always a pleasant stay this KOA takes great pride in customer service, friendly staff very well kept campground our favorite over all we've been coming here the last 5 years numerous visits can't wait to return next year.

Great campground, stayed one night traveling south. Easy access on and off Highway. Would consider staying again on another road trip.

Rude and unfriendly staff. Traveling with another couple who lost power due to faulty pedestal. No response to after hours #; owner approached them very threatening and angry for using their generator; accused them of lying about trying to contact the office. We both left a day early due to his threatening behavior. Notified the office who said they couldn’t do anything about it. Not a safe plac

Confused about your comments as we were in the office until 1 AM & usually are available 24/7 for problems such as this, because nobody can plan when a wire may corrode or a breaker may go bad, especially during an unusually busy year. We are disappointed we missed your call. Safe travels.

Good level campsites, very clean restrooms and showers. Friendly staff and well stocked store was a big plus.

Stayed here several times. This may be our last. In the past, the staff has been friendly and we enjoyed their broasted chicken and soft serve ice cream. On our last two visits, we found the staff to be unfriendly. On this visit, they were not serving broasted chicken (claimed a staffing shortage) and were out of soft serve ice cream. Not worth it when staff is unfriendly and no amenities.

Thank you. Soft serve is available weekends only after Labor Day. Usually this camp has 15-18 employees, they currently have 9 employees & still make sure every camper is escorted, bathrooms, playground, dog & pocket parkS are clean, provide a safe environment all while store is open 12 hrs daily.

Easy on, easy off, nice camp store, Love's nearby for refueling. We use it often on our travels back and forth to New England.

The combative attitude of owner and the threatening gestures while holding tools in his hand are a first for me in my 40 plus years of camping. We lost power on our site at around 9:30pm and with temperatures in the high 40’s we ran our generator to run a small electric heater. This KOA doesn’t answer their phone after hours and often times doesn’t answer during hours. Bad place! Stay away.

We have stayed at the Jonestown/Hershey NE KOA many times and have always been satisfied. It is a perfect stop off point for our trips to New England and back. It is very convenient to have a Subway and gas right there. We love the ice cream at KOA after our dinner!

Very nice campground. Our site was extra long to accommodate our 39' 5th wheel and tow vehicle. Easy access from the interstate.

Had a relaxing enjoyable time right by the Swatara creek. Owner is nice and his dog Rosie is the sweetest!

Very well maintained and excellent staff for sure. Sites are fantastic, especially patio sites. The only issue for me is the proximity to road noise. If you are going to the area for other reasons and want a very nice facility, this is a great choice

At check in we were 2 hrs early and I'm pointed it out. The girl at the counter did not mention anything about an early check in fee and charged me $10. On papers it indicates they MAY charge $5 plus $1 for each early hour. She wasn't the cheeriest person in the world. I know it was Monday, but come on let's be pleasant.

We DO charge an early arrival fee as we are usually busy in the store everyday at lunchtime, as we service both locals & campers. Locals play a huge part in the campground's success, thus we have a 2 PM check-in to accommodate both clientele. Like our slogan says "We're more than a campground store"

Upon arrival the young man at the desk was chatting with a friend, I had to interrupt to inquire about check in. He told me to go outside to the area and wait. He didn’t get my name so I asked him if he needed it, just wait outside and I will get it when I take you to site. The KOA patio site was dirty. I swept it off and then used yard blower. Plus we were placed between two seasonal sites.

Our curbside check-in has been popular with most guests. Most people do see the signage and wait their turn in their rig for check-in, usually no more than 2 or 3 minutes. Every concrete pad in our campground was pressure washed on Sept. 3, though some leaves have started to fall.

Most excellent! This isn't our first stay at this campground. As before, we were right along the Swatera creek. Its nice pulling your kayak out right at your campsite. The frozen drinks available at the camp store definitely had booze in them!! Yep, we liked them too!

Nice campground close to many stores and fast food restaurants. Bathrooms in need of update and lots of road noise. We had nice big pull thru site.

Went for the wings and due to short staffing kitchen was closed then saw a worker out pulling weeds instead of making wings little disappointed. Also no cable but not a huge deal.

We are definitely sorry to disappoint anybody wanted our delicious wings, but our kitchen was closed on Sat., Sept 25 from 2 to 9 PM. Wings were available at any other time over the weekend. Our grounds crew usually does not work in the sanitary kitchen environment.

Great place to stop when traveling on I-81- easy on and off. Sites are level which helps us to stay hooked up to our fifth wheel and still put out our slides which is SUPER convenient! Almost all sites have a cement slab to step out onto! Picnic tables... fire pit! Staff are friendly and helpful. The store offers a little bit of everything! Their food and ice cream is GOOD!! We have stayed here many- many times and we will be staying here again.
