This is a beautiful location with lots to do if you have kids. We were on the first row so we had a perfect view of the playground where the kids were playing. We got to swim. the only thing I would say is that there are a lot of stickers so if you bring your pet, be prepared for that. But we will definitely be back!

Staff were friendly. The only thing is that there were lots of weeds and goat heads at our sites tracking into our campers and all over our dogs. Very nice pool. The restrooms could be updated. It was not like the other KOA Journeys we've stayed at.

Great place to stop for a night. The sites are tight but we had shade which was great in the heat. Water pressure seemed low, maybe because we were sharing the water bib with site next to us.

This was our 1st time staying at a KOA. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was cute and clean. The facilities and grounds were very well kept and clean. The staff was super friendly.

I only stayed for one night but I would stay longer if time permitted. They have really friendly people working there, the pool is nice and necessary in the 114 heat! It is a quick connection to I25. The sites are nicely laid out so that there is privacy and there are a number of pull through sites for people like me who don't like to back a camper! They also make breakfast for campers - $7.

No 114 degree heat here, but thanks for your nice comments on the Park's other attributes. The state's TV channels reported 2 days last week here of the coolest temps in the State.

Beautiful wooded site; friendly and extremely helpful staff; all the amenities we have come to expect from an excellent KOA. A brief power outage after hours knocked out the wifi. It was quickly restored. They obviously work hard to provide good service.

GREAT breakfast at affordable price! Chris, Susan, Michael, Bob and other staff members were exceptionally courteous, helpful, respectful, informative and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasing as possible! Give them a raise! Every amenity available that an RVer could expect! We stayed at Las Vegas, NM, KOA twice: June 5 & 16, '21. Feel free to share our comments!

Check in went smoothly since I prepaid on line for my stays. I'm confused about the extra charges to my account after-the-fact however. I'm just there to overnight to and from my elderly parents' home in Wyoming, so I'm usually pulling into the KOA after 10 hours on the road. All I want is a level spot with electricity so I can turn on my AC and go to sleep. I only hear freeway traffic.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Very few complaints on the Highway noise as the highway cuts into the rock hill and lays below the grade of the Park. People love the breakfast and cool temps here.

Again, KOA Journeys it's difficult to get full hookup with 50 amp. Decent place to stay with full hookup, but only 30/20 amp.

I see you made your reservation on the same day as your stay. Unfortunately most sites are booked weeks in advance. I am sure you were advised all we had left was 30 amp only.

Everything was nice here, no problems. Road coming off the interstate made us feel right at home even though it's paved and ours isn't, just go slow and you'll be OK, not the KOA's fault.

We enjoyed our stay. The only negative would be the low water pressure, and i understand why. The staff was very courteous and made us feel welcome.

The place was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we specifically stayed here because it has a pool. But, by mid-June the pool still wasn't ready so we were not able to it at all. Would have received a better rating had pool been ready.

The most friendly kampground we have ever stayed at. They showed real concern regarding our engine’s mechanical issues; checked daily to make sure we had a place each night, and recommend a mobile mechanic. � Susan cooked a Delicious breakfast every morning for the guests, and the owner has made up-grades to the wifi! We would Definitely return

We loved out stay here. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Buddy system so sites were not as ample but we had a pull through and were able to hitch our toad to our C right at the site with no problem. There’s a delicious breakfast available for purchase every day at a very reasonable price.

Great location and sites were wide and long. They offered a wonderful breakfast with scrambled eggs, pancakes, potatoes, fruit for just over $6.00 per person. WI-FI didn’t work for our campsite. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

For staying one night it was quite and easy to get to. There was no water pressure for our RV. The site we stayed wasn’t very level. There was a nice dog park we used and a fun park for the kids. Pool looked nice but we didn’t have time to use it.

Nice campground and sites. Wifi was offline the day we arrived, and never worked at Site 11, which is right near the office. Otherwise a good place to camp.

A Hot Breakfast made our stay. It was worth the stay alone! Host is fabulous. Facilities should be upgraded, but were acceptable.

We were supposed to have sites next to our family (site 2 & 3) and we were moved to another site (site 6) without any communication. While our paperwork indicated that check-in was 12:00 noon, we were advised that we were early and that check-in was 2:00 p.m. Park was a decent place for an overnight stop off the highway and generally staff was professional and courteous.

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
