Our KOA Kabin exceeded our expectations. It was cute, comfortable, and clean. We were happy to have electricity and Wi-Fi, not crucial to a camping experience but nice to be able to check in with family back home. Our hostess had our Kabin ready for our arrival, checked on us to be sure we were all set, served up a great Sunday breakfast, and generally treated every camper like family.

We were unable to stay, called 6 days before but were met with the 7 day cancellation policy. Therefore, we paid for a night that we did not stay at the KOA. Plans changed for us, we were used to cancellation policies of hotels, which usually are same day or day before. Any justification would be appreciated, but due to the rigidity of the cancellation policy, we do not plan to stay at KOAs

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for advising us of this. Koa does have a 2 week cancellation policy on the cabins. However at the Las Vegas NM KOA, we use the same cancellation policy as the RV sites. We have a new employee and she just followed the normal KOA rules. I will keep a $4.00 fee and refund the rest.

The lady that checked us in was very friendly. Our cabin was clean and we did not expect a mini fridge so that was a nice bonus.

Great people own and work this KOA. I have been a KOA member for 30 plus years and these people are the best ever. Campground restrooms are clean as well as the cabins. They serve a wonderful breakfast in the morning for a nominal cost. It is quiet even though I-25 is not far away. It is my place to stay when traveling the I-25 corridor.

The KOA was clean, but I only had two problems. One was that the showers were too small. I’m 5’4 130lbs and the shower head was below the top of my head. The other problem was that while I was walking my dogs we had a dog run toward us off of the leash. The owner had both of them out just walking around without leashes. One of the two dogs was older and kept to itself, but not the other one.

The owner, John, is wonderful. The campground is obviously an older one, but is well maintained. We are staying there twice more in the very near future.

The restrooms were so clean and the people were so respectful of the quiet hours. It was so easy to check in and check out. The staff were super helpful with all my questions.

Great breakfast! Logs were ready to burn in firepit. The grandkids loved the playground and swimming pool. My site wasn't close to theirs, as requested, was the only problem. Staff and other campers and dogs were very friendly and helpful.

This was the best place ever!!! The staff was great, the camp was out in the woods… I saw a deer running in the woods early in the morning! They serve a wonderful breakfast for a very very reasonable price; I can’t say enough good things about this KOA experience!!!

Very nice campground outside of LV, NM. It is clean, restrooms and showers were really nice for a campground. And it has the best $6 all you can eat full hot bfast every morning. Wonderful place - we will be back!

Great KOA !! Stayed in a cabin, was clean and comfortable. Beautiful site away from highway noise with lots of trees and grass a plus for pets and a beautiful night sky to boot! Restrooms and showers were also clean and well cared for. The owner and staff were extremely helpful & friendly and the breakfast was very, very good! Will definitely stay again.

We used the rustic cabin. It was perfect for our needs. The A/C unit was a bit noisy but we were so tired from the 12 hours of driving it hardly bothered us. We would use it again!

We got in late. Our map and cabin were available immediately. We slept great and enjoyed an excellent breakfast there in the morning. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. Regarding breakfast… I didn’t know how to make a reservation for breakfast. It would have been helpful to have an email to respond to before we made it to the KOA late at night.

My stay was quite satisfactory and the gentleman who checked me in was friendly and helpful. My cabin was fine, although showing some signs of heavy wear. I was able to do laps in the pool and overall my stay was very pleasant.

I have stayed at this KOA for many years taking my kids and now my grandkids to a nearby church camp. I have never been disappointed by how friendly the staff is and how clean the restrooms and cabins are kept. It’s an older KOA, but well maintained.

The bathroom was out of soap and the owner said "well it's not like I go to walmart everyday". With Covid being a risk, not to mention other germs I thought this was unprofessional. I got a creepy vibe from my stay and was not comfortable. The cabin screens were ripped and the windows didn't shut all the way. It appears that the new ownership is not up to par.

I am so sorry your stay with us was not up to standards. We strive for 100% satisfaction with all our guests and there is no reason for the bathroom to be out of soap especially during Covid.I wish our staff would have put one of the sanitizer bottles in the reception and laundry areas, in the BRms

We love this campground. It is in a lovely location close to town, but far enough away to avoid the noise of the traffic. It is very clean and the staff is very welcoming. We go every year.

This was our 1st time staying at a KOA. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was cute and clean. The facilities and grounds were very well kept and clean. The staff was super friendly.

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
