This was the third KOA on my trip, and by far - my favorite. Next trip I take in this general direction, I will plan specifically to stay here again!

I liked the location of this KOA, which is easy to reach, and was glad that I did not have to listen all night in my tent to loud highway traffic. I also appreciated the consideration given to assigning my tent site (within easy walk of facilities). Best of all was the offer of a homecooked breakfast at a really great price, which started my next day's travels in a wonderful way.

This is one of our favorite KOA’s from the moment you arrive the owner John and his staff make you feel so welcome. The facility is always clean and the bathrooms are cleaned often as well. If you stay here you must try the breakfast it is amazing.

Had to reroute our trip due to a road closure and this KOA found us a spot at the last minute for our truck camper in a tent site because all other sites were full. They were very friendly and our site was great and in a quiet place!

Awful experience. Female solo camper who arrived late was placed in far back of campground near highway and away from other campers. Attendant told me not to worry that they never had any murders at the campground. I was then advised to stay in my car as a storm was rolling thru. I requested a different site and after viewing one without a fire ring I was placed between to RV's in a muddy area :(

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Oh my gosh! I spent 30 to 40 minutes showing you sites including more expensive RV sites we were going to discount. You said you wanted to be in the back. I thought you should be away from our other tent site area where a single mother with with rambunctious kids was. They loved the rain.

Nice little campground. However the facilities could use some updating (showers/restroom areas - shower stalls are very small), and the internet is difficult, if not just impossible to get from the tent area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

With regard to the cell service, you might have overlooked that the tower for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint is on an adjacent property.

Campground was very clean. The tent space was great. The restroom was very clean and orderly. Always maintained.

Power went out and was out for the entire night and morning. Only a weak storm came in. Weak WiFi when it was running.

Good site, good people. Close to the road so kind of noisy at night, but otherwise was nice that they had a pool and playground. The power went out overnight so that was a bummer, didn't great breakfast either. Otherwise would rate a 5 kind of out of their control though and they were really good about talk to everyone and doing their best to get things up and running again.

Short stay, but nice facilities overall. Showers were a little small, and dark. Other than that, great place to stay.

The staff was very accommodating. We had problems with our tent and the manager John went out of his way to get us a place to sleep.

We stayed in a deluxe tent site. The employees were very friendly and laid back. The location is off the highway and very beautiful. The breakfast and especially pancakes were very good for a reasonable price. We will definitely stay there again!

97 degrees, too many flies, since we were in a tent, the weather was difficult on us. The people there were very nice and accommodating. Pool was good, bathroom very clean. Only one tent site had trees.

The place was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we specifically stayed here because it has a pool. But, by mid-June the pool still wasn't ready so we were not able to it at all. Would have received a better rating had pool been ready.

My husband and his buddy just stayed here while making a bike run and loved it just as much as when my whole family stayed for thanksgiving! We love this little KOA

my 3/5 rating is only to help those reserving "tent" sites. the lessor rating is only due to the tent sites location on the property...next to a busy side road. you'll have cars passing by pretty late into the night. the actual tent sites are as advertised. (picnic bench, level tent pad, fire pit. electric outlets, short walk to the shower/bathroom). outside of road noise, nice stay!

Closer to highway and a local road than expected (stayed at a tent site). Otherwise check-in was easy (after hours) and facility was very clean.

Everyone there was super nice, the facilities were in great condition, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious.

The camp host went our of his way to accommodate us when our reservations at a local state park went awry. Lovely campground and very quiet even though it’s close to the highway. We will go back for sure!

Susan was great and very accommodating! We were the only tent campers and she advised us the tent site we booked may be wet from snow and let us pick another site. She also made an incredible breakfast the next morning. Very clean and reasonably priced

TENTERS - They had a good tent camp area, segregated away from the big buses and generators. Additionally, I made a return reservation for a couple of days later. I was not able to make it back and never had time to cancel the reservation. I learned later that they had gone ahead and cancelled my reservation and refunded my deposit on their own (minus the cancellation fee).That was good of them!

Extremely friendly staff, very clean facilities. Wonderful stay. It was my first time at a KOA and I will definitely use them again!

I arrived after the office closed, but they made sure to call and leave a voicemail to provide the bathroom code. There was also campsite directions for me posted on the bulletin board when I arrived. I felt welcomed and very comfortable even though I arrived after dark. MUCH APPRECIATED!

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
