Great stay for just one night.

Friendly staff, spacious sites and plenty of trees. Activities and and amenities are satisfactory. It didn't feel like a RV park, it was a true campground.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was great. We've been coming here for a while & the new owners have made some improvements and are working on other improvements(walking rail among them). It is quiet with very little noise from I-25.

Camp host loaned me a tool to repair my rear view mirror. Breakfast was great! We hope to have a chance to stay there again.

Great KOA! Far enough from the freeway, lots of trees and rolling hills. Felt more like a campground than many KOA do.

Our KOA Kabin exceeded our expectations. It was cute, comfortable, and clean. We were happy to have electricity and Wi-Fi, not crucial to a camping experience but nice to be able to check in with family back home. Our hostess had our Kabin ready for our arrival, checked on us to be sure we were all set, served up a great Sunday breakfast, and generally treated every camper like family.

We were unable to stay, called 6 days before but were met with the 7 day cancellation policy. Therefore, we paid for a night that we did not stay at the KOA. Plans changed for us, we were used to cancellation policies of hotels, which usually are same day or day before. Any justification would be appreciated, but due to the rigidity of the cancellation policy, we do not plan to stay at KOAs

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for advising us of this. Koa does have a 2 week cancellation policy on the cabins. However at the Las Vegas NM KOA, we use the same cancellation policy as the RV sites. We have a new employee and she just followed the normal KOA rules. I will keep a $4.00 fee and refund the rest.

Great people. Nice grounds, except for burrs everywhere that get in dogs' hair and are hard to get out.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry for your issue here. We try to tell guests where the areas on the Campground are, like the six acres on the west side, that don't have stickers. There is 100 acres of cattle range adjacent to the Campground that dogs love.

The lady that checked us in was very friendly. Our cabin was clean and we did not expect a mini fridge so that was a nice bonus.

It was wonderful. Susan is great and a great cook. Susan is very welcoming and we loved it there. The site was spacious and clean. Will definitely stop there again

We stayed in site 41 for one night. Water hydrant didnt work but site was level. The site was easy in and easy out. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

It was a quick in and out trip stop. We have stayed here many times while traveling and have always had a good experience. We can depend on a good spot , water , elect and sewer and friendly staff so were always satisfied. Thank you!

Very convenient to pull into a space at night, very well marked lanes and spaces. Host was welcoming and other campers respectful and friendly. Only suggestion for improvement is to have the county or city repave the road leading to the KOA entrance.

Sorry about your wifi issue here....Could it have been that you didn't turn off your Mobile Network? We were flattered to have 2 campground reviews this month saying our Wifi was excellent. One said the wifi was the best of any campground they had visited. We just finished hard-wiring 9 wifi poles

The park was very clean snd large areas to park. The people taking care of the place was very nice and helped with all our questions. Also she was nice enough to make a very good breakfast. I stopped there on the way out for vacation and made sure I came at the end of our vacation also.

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
