The hosts were awesome. Helped us get to our pretty smelly campsite with no problem at all. They suggested four-wheel-drive which we used. They provided a lovely breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit. Totally unexpected, especially for only $4.50! The surroundings were beautiful Pinyon pine and the crisp white snow And live in New Mexico skies were stunning!

Didn't stay long but loved this small KOA. Right off I-25 and tucked among the trees. The staff was friendly and concerned about our well-being and were eager to make our stay a good one. It snowed 6 inches over night which made it a winter wonderland. Would highly recommend this KOA and will stay here again if we pass that way again on our camping adventures.

Great little country Place. Very accommodating hosts. We had an excellent time. It will be really nice in the summer when it’s warm.

It was a very clean and well maintained. We liked how the sites were spacious and spread out. Mamy of the sites were much more private and spacious than we have experienced at a KOA and we really enjoyed that. Management also made us feel at home. Thats important to us, thank you!

Easily accessible off the interstate. It is nestled in amongst the trees and is very quiet. They offered a great breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Trees, spacious site. Walking path through the woods. Great feel. Helpful management. Our sewer pipe cover blew into the roadway in a night time wind gust and was run over. Maintenance guy came with one he had recovered another time. All good to go. Town needs visitors.

We spent one night while we were on the road. We had stayed here last year on a similar trip. Very helpful host. It was not crowded at all since it was the end of January. Wifi was fast enough and there were a few OTA TV channels. Somewhat close to I-25 but couldn't hear the road noise at night.

We’ve stayed here two times on our way to AZ from CO. Great hosts and enjoyed a great breakfast there too. Quiet and easy parking on level area.

I was very happy with the location. Was a little disappointed they put another group right next to us even though there was 4 sports between them and another group. Even after I requested they not do that.

I like that the sites are far enough from I25 to be quiet. And the sites were roomier and placed in and around trees nicely. I wish the sites included grass or even artificial turf and not all gravel or native.

The drive up was beautiful and the area as well. However, our campsite had no water plus there was no where to wash our dishes. Our little dogs did like the dog park.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Due to it being winter time, sometimes the spigots do freeze up. Sorry for the inconvenience. I wish you would have asked about both issues you had. We would have gladly moved you and advised you of a place to wash dishes. We have a sink in the laundry room that is open 24/7. We can't help if you don't ask. Outdoor sinks are closed in the winter months.

Sites are level but getting in and out of them is difficult many of them have drop offs and with lower clearance RV and as the case with us a long RVs we drug going out. Not a big rig friendly place.

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
