We stayed one night while on the road. This place had a 'help wanted' sign... they need it. The price was twice what it was worth.

Uneven sites made it very difficult to level our coach. Breakfast is a good amenity even though we could not participate because of our time restraints. Staff was very friendly. Stickers throughout the campground should be removed. It was challenging to walk our dog trying to avoid those stickers. Water pressure was terrible. However the campground was clean.

We arrived almost quitting time without a reservation. The gentleman who runs it was very nice and accommodating. The site was really nice and rustic, surrounded by pines and not close together . Very clean and well maintained .

This is a good location and a comfortable campground.... The camp hosts are great folks, very conscientious, working hard to improve the property and the campers experience. I will camp there again.

Another wonderful stay. Breakfast was once again a welcome treat, especially the pancakes that were enhanced with a dash of cinnamon. This next comment is for all the KOA’s that have horrible stickers on their property: please invest time, money and education on how to rid of the stickers that is environmentally safe! They are so hard to remove from dogs and from the bottoms of their human

Just a one night stay, very accommodating. The site was level gravel. We enjoyed the breakfast, they do it year round. Appreciate the "Big Rig" exit signs to guide you around through the trees as we exited the campground.

Absolutely worse water pressure at any KOA. But, not scenery and a great breakfast.

no cell connections due to remote location and wifi was very poor with frequent dropouts. Site could have used another load of gravel and some grading to get it more level.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The Park is one of the few in the Country that has cell towers for AT&T, T_mobile and Sprint so we do have data and voice for 3 large carriers. We're a small town in the courty with great pastoral views and good restaurants.

We stay at the Las Vegas NM twice a year. The stay has always been very friendly. Nothing fancy but a great clean park.

The owner, John, is wonderful. The campground is obviously an older one, but is well maintained. We are staying there twice more in the very near future.

The description online made the campground sound wonderful. We were anxious to see the "spectacular" views of the mountains but there were only some nice hills with trees. There was a nice view of a large grassy area. The internet was non existent and the water pressure was awful. The description touted a deluxe site w/ cast iron table & chairs but we only had a small picnic table that was dirty.

Noisy, had a vehicle with music blaring go through the park at 1am. No security. The hookups were 20 feet from the rig. Uneven spot #6. The dog park is dangerous for pets and people. All grass on the way to the kennel was full of stickers. We will never come back. Sewer connection was shotty, just PVC pipe no threads. Had to place rocks around it to keep it in place.

Sorry if an unauthorized car came thru the Park. Our workers are spread thru the Park and didn't hear anything....We tell you when you check in to stay on the short path to the dog park. The park is 24 acres and has an upper portion of 6 acres with jeep roads that has never had any stickers.

Thank you for your nice comments. The park is situated only a mile form the Interstate-25 exit ramp. The bumpy section you mentioned is less than a half-mile long and is flat and paved.

Poor Wifi, no Verizon service, old facilities, short staff.. challenging.

We actually have the cell phone towers for AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint 1000' (feet) from the Kampground. Some guests do get Verizon. A town of 13,000 people is not going to have every carrier next door. Our reg guests do love the solitude of our valley and its 100s of acres of green fields next to us

Great access. Nice sites in the pine trees. The breakfast is super good and the lady who makes it is awesome! The guy who brings you to your site is friendly and helpful. The only bottleneck is the older gentleman behind the computer, just be patient with him and he’ll get you checked in! Super clean showers, restrooms and grounds.

Agent was very rude and condescending about face mask. Then later was not wearing mack. No one licensed to provide propane. Site was no there close to level.

The Governor of New Mexico has mandated masks for indoor buildings. We try to follow the rules requiring masks but, more importantly, we need to make our best efforts to keep guests safe here.

Awful experience. Female solo camper who arrived late was placed in far back of campground near highway and away from other campers. Attendant told me not to worry that they never had any murders at the campground. I was then advised to stay in my car as a storm was rolling thru. I requested a different site and after viewing one without a fire ring I was placed between to RV's in a muddy area :(

Oh my gosh! I spent 30 to 40 minutes showing you sites including more expensive RV sites we were going to discount. You said you wanted to be in the back. I thought you should be away from our other tent site area where a single mother with with rambunctious kids was. They loved the rain.

Lovely park. Especially loved the breakfast you could opt in to get for a minimal fee. it was delicious. All of the personnel were so friendly and helpful. I felt like we were a part of their family. And the location was nice for us in between our other stops!

Nice location, but at several sites only a portion was level, and its very steep entering or exiting these sites too. Its on a hillside, if that helps explain it. Also VERY low water pressure....they suggest you fill your on-board tank with it and use your pump to create sufficient pressure to shower, etc.

No WiFi, the electric was so low in power I couldn’t run but 1 air conditioner, along with no phone signal. All that for 51.00 a night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our new Progressive Industries circuit tester reads "CORRECT", 120 volts on your electricity plug. Because of increased occupancy the site is used every night. Sorry we don't have the cell tower for every carrier next to our campground but we actually have AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint towers next door.

RV park was very clean. Park staff was friendly and helpful. RV campsites were well organized easy to pull in and out. Campsite were level and had plenty of trees for shade.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had an issue with our truck and were unable to leave at check out time. We were waiting for another truck to arrive so we could continue on our way. They were very understanding and accommodating! We are very appreciative!

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
