The best asset at this park is the staff. They are very friendly and efficient. The pool was great to enjoy on 90+ degrees days. Some features that could use improvement are the WiFi and water pressure. It was quite at night even with the highway next to the park. Was cool knowing the park is located on an original stretch of historic Rt 66.

Cute older campground, nice views. Person at the front desk very friendly and helpful. Quiet at night even though it's located just off I-25.

Just didn’t like the cactus around the trees my dog stepped on one. Very painful for her

They put our large 40 ft 5th wheel on top of a hill that when pulling off twisted and caused body damage to 5th wheel and truck. No water pressures even after turning on pump. Asked for and paid for a spot large enough for a 40 ft 5th wheel and had to drive up and down hills to get to the spot and had someone parked right in front of us we had to avoid hitting when pulling out.

Due too health reasons our stay was only for one night. The site was wonderful and we enjoyed our brief stay.

Very good stay there. Henry came up with a part I needed for my faucet so I didn’t have to buy one. Breakfast was good too…

Nice campground, A little tight for parking. The lady at the desk was very friendly and help full but the Man there was very rude and argued with me. I almost left but I was tires and wanted to rest. He would most likely do better just picking up trash.

Sites are tiered, flat and each provides a nice view for drinking morning coffee or cocktails in the evening. Yes, the road to the camp is bumpy, but short. Take that time to look out your windows and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Very peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Only negative comment would be that the WiFi was hit or miss.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a big sand burr outbreak that due to understaffing was not controlled before they bloomed. This made using the grass areas very difficult. They were working on them during our stay which we did appreciate. We will definitely be back. Oh and for the person that complained there was no hot-tub = read the amenities section!

Website stated wifi was available. Could not get signal at our site. Could only get it sitting in front of the office. Cell signal was extremely poor as well. I teach online classes.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have At&T, Sprint and T-mobile towers on site for cell phone and hot spot service. Because of Zoom, game playing and campgrounds being busier, streaming is busier. We have started negotiating with a fiber optics company, but they are so busy it's taking longer than expected.

Despite being near the highway, the noise wasn’t offensive and we could sleep. The sites were a bit on an incline so it was hard for us to get the dolly released. But the staff were friendly and you can’t beat the breakfast buffet for $6.29 ! A treat to not have to prepare breakfast

We stayed four days and enjoyed our time there. The campground offers sites at different elevations and within a stand of trees. There's highway noise like nearly all KOAs, but I-25 isn't very busy. Nice fenced dog area with easy cleanup (scooper and bags available). Good water. Clean bathrooms with three shower stalls.

We were traveling through with just a one night stay. Host was very pleasant. He even offers a breakfast for a small fee. Site was easy to level on. Bathroom and showers were clean and well maintained. Nice campground with grass and pet area.

Good-Nice scenery, friendly staff, clean sites, close to Las Vegas, NM. Bad-Low water pressure, poor wifi, no trash cans at sites, no hot tub at pool site.

We decided to stay multiple days at the last minute. Susan was very helpful in adding another day for us. Upon arrival she was cheerful and explained everything clearly to us. After the first day it was obvious that the place was very short staff. What staff there was did an amazing job of seeing to our needs and keeping the campground maintained.

The hosts are very nice. They even serve a delicious breakfast if you are interested. My impression is that they work very hard to make this place a very comfortable place to stay. Just so you know, I give most places I like a 4 rather than a 5. The place has to be really up there to get a 5. My caution is - be careful if you are using GPS. It took us to to wrong place. We will go there again

Probably one of the best wifi in RV Parks in the US. The Towers for AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint are 1000 feet from the guest registration building.

Not the best KOA we’ve stayed at. However, we were just overnighting. Nice big pull throughs though! Just very off the beaten path.

Starry nights here with constellations painted across the night-time canvas....We're located just 1 mile off the Interstate-25 exit on the frontage road across from a large, 24 hour gas station just south (4 miles) of town.

Gentleman who checked us in was rude when trying to ask questions about the discount/KOA rewards. Advertise WIFI and we were very close to the office but WIFI was horrible. Couldn't get hardly anything to download. Road to the KOA was terrible and extremely bumpy. Location of the hookups in relation to our RV connections was not good either. Have basically nothing good to say about this place.

Only one 10% discount per night....Cell phone towers for AT&T, T-mobile and Sprint are located on the adjacent property....The street we're on is less than a mile from Interstate-25 offramp. It is part of the original Route 66. Your site is one the most requested.

This KOA was located off the beaten track. It was quiet and many of the sites had trees. The sites were level. The water pressure was low, so we had to keep our water pump on all the time. The owners (of 3 years) were friendly, but not very familiar with activities outside the park.

One of the worst campgrounds I have stayed in. KOA needs to up it's standards of KOA parks or the brand will become irrelevant. My site (#13) was so short that my trailer barely fit in the somewhat level lot, but since my entry door is at the back of the trailer, we had to step out onto the very steep approach. Internet was in and out constantly.

We have the cell phone towers on the adjacent property for AT&T, T Mobile and Sprint (less than 1000 feet from our registration desk)....You stated your trailer size was 28 feet, but your site was 45' not including the entrance. You just needed to pull up.

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
