Nice little campground. However the facilities could use some updating (showers/restroom areas - shower stalls are very small), and the internet is difficult, if not just impossible to get from the tent area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

With regard to the cell service, you might have overlooked that the tower for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint is on an adjacent property.

Only stayed one night. Needs lots of TLC. Lots of dirt and gravel. Must be the area. High desert. Didn’t use facilities. Interstate 25 on one side railroad tracks on the other. Bumpy road going to entrance.

The railroad track is for AmTrac and only runs once a day around noon. Yes I agree the road is bumpy leading to the rv park, however this is a part of the original route 66.

This location is very convenient for our stopover traveling south from Denver. The layout of the sites is appealing in that they make excellent use of the hilly terrain. Pool and other amenities are a plus. The breakfast that is offered is PRIME, we can't say enough about the green chili hash browns. We will always select this location for a stopover!

Arrived at night. Night registry well lit. Easy instructions and info on sites available. Host came over to greet us and make sure we were able to find what needed. Restrooms and showers very clean.

I really liked the Las Vegas, NM KOA. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The campsite was perfectly level. I didn't have to do any additional leveling of the RV, which was great! Billions of vivid stars in the dark night sky was awe inspiring. The campground is tranquil and quiet, especially at night. Lots of shade trees at sites. Close to downtown. I would go back again.

We did like the layout of this park even though it saw a little tight we were in one of the few sights that could accommodate our 43' toy hauler and 20' dually.. BUT the water pressure was unacceptable!! We had to use our onboard fresh water tank & pump to e ale to shower. The electrical from the pedestal was a it on the weak side we had to be very carful what we used in the or it would trip!!

The restrooms were so clean and the people were so respectful of the quiet hours. It was so easy to check in and check out. The staff were super helpful with all my questions.

Staff was friendly and professional. Park is easy on/off of I-25. Park is a little dated, but well maintained. Some sites are unlevel, but not unusable.

It wasn't to bad but very low or as in my case one morning no water,, but they got it fixed pretty quickly. Not a bad place tho.

The biggest problem was the WiFi which is totally inadequate for us. It was verey slow and cut out often. We need to have adequate Wifi which is why we chose this KOA. If you really need WiFi, you won't find it here. The breakfast was good and we appreaciated the effort of the employees there. The water pressure is low llbut we didn't need much for only one night.

Wish you would have contacted us for help. System was just upgraded in the last 7 days. Hot spots work extremely well here as the tower for ATT, T-Mobile and Sprint are located adjacent to the park.

Good Location for us to visit Taos, Sante Fe. Not cheap. Big rig friendly with pull thru sites.

We love this KOA! The views from where we have set up camp have been very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious! Pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, southwest potatoes, fruit, sausage and orange juice/coffee! Eating outside was refreshing. The hosts and their support staff are wonderful��

We arrived "after hours" and it was super easy to find our check in details, map of the site, etc. We even got a call ahead of our arrival confirming we were still on our way and to let us know what to look for when we got there if there wasn't someone in the office to help us.

Reallyappreciated the helpful employee who materialized as we were coming in after dark without a res. He found us a great spot for our RV and guided us to it Although we did not have breakfast there, the "cook" was ever so friendly. Thanks for a nice stay.

First JP was only staff on duty when we arrived. He was trying to juggle the incoming phone calls and get us signed in. First he directed us in a spot backwards. Not wanting to move twice, I questioned him regarding which site we were assigned. As we stood in Site 16, He announced firmly that we were assigned site 20. My problem was he was not the least bit apologetic for his mistake

Great place to stop between Arizona and Colorado Springs. Very friendly and helpful staff, sparkling clean facilities. Will stop again next time we pass through.

Nice place, conveniently located a bit too close to the freeway. All expected amenities including exceptional, friendly, camp hosts. Spots could be more level. Breakfast was provided and was quite good. Happy guests from all over, many return guests, likely the best recommendation!

This was our second stay at Las Vegas KOA. We’ve recommended it to friends. The people who work here are lovely, always friendly and helpful. The breakfast you can buy is great, especially the pancakes-don’t pass them up!

Great camp site for our family of six for a quick weekend trip. Extremely clean bathrooms, friendly staff who helped us get firewood and horseshoes, and location was very easy to find. We'll definitely be back for another weekend!

Nice quiet site, wooded campsites. Terrific campground breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, Hatch chile hash browns, pancakes to order, strawberries and blueberries) available at a reasonable price. A pleasure to stay here.

Good site, good people. Close to the road so kind of noisy at night, but otherwise was nice that they had a pool and playground. The power went out overnight so that was a bummer, didn't great breakfast either. Otherwise would rate a 5 kind of out of their control though and they were really good about talk to everyone and doing their best to get things up and running again.

Our specs were for a big rig. Well, the camper fit, but the truck didn't really fit in the space. Had to move the truck to get into storage. Beware, PSI max is 22. That was a first for us and we have been traveling full-time for almost 3 years. Park employees were all very friendly and helpful. Power went on/off for 2 days. Last 15 hours in park NO POWER. NOT what I paid for.

Sorry for your issues here....Your site was 66' (feet)long, and at its narrowest point (between reflectors) 22' wide. We have a handful of sites for extra large rigs. Also sorry for the electricity outage in our City during a thunderstorm. We can't remember any outages 15 hours long in 2 yrs.

Very nice, clean campground tucked away close to the I-25. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Although we could not get any satellite TV reception, there was a selection of DVD movies which helped pass the time. We left early so we were not there for the breakfast they serve for a small fee. The electricity went out around bedtime, but I don't fault the campground for that.

Easy off the highway, clean camping with spacious pull through spots. Perfect for us to sleep for the night without unhooking our trailer.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Good location. Facility up to standard with most KOA's. But an abysmal water pressure of just 20 psi meant we had to fill up our fresh water tank and use the water pump for our stay. And the Wi-Fi was useless, especially frustrating because we had no cell reception.

We only stay here because of the location based on our travel destinations. Staff is great! Sites are seldom level and the utilities are located too far from where needed. Us and our neighbor needed extra hose and power extensions. Not your problem, but the las half mile road to your place is a disaster. Probably won't stay here again. Sorry.

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
