First JP was only staff on duty when we arrived. He was trying to juggle the incoming phone calls and get us signed in. First he directed us in a spot backwards. Not wanting to move twice, I questioned him regarding which site we were assigned. As we stood in Site 16, He announced firmly that we were assigned site 20. My problem was he was not the least bit apologetic for his mistake

Great place to stop between Arizona and Colorado Springs. Very friendly and helpful staff, sparkling clean facilities. Will stop again next time we pass through.

Nice place, conveniently located a bit too close to the freeway. All expected amenities including exceptional, friendly, camp hosts. Spots could be more level. Breakfast was provided and was quite good. Happy guests from all over, many return guests, likely the best recommendation!

This was our second stay at Las Vegas KOA. We’ve recommended it to friends. The people who work here are lovely, always friendly and helpful. The breakfast you can buy is great, especially the pancakes-don’t pass them up!

I like how the sites were a bit larger. The views were beautiful. The pool was crystal clear. The staff were very friendly.

Only stayed one night. Kampground is clean, neat, and staff is very accommodating. I will definitely stay there again.

Great camp site for our family of six for a quick weekend trip. Extremely clean bathrooms, friendly staff who helped us get firewood and horseshoes, and location was very easy to find. We'll definitely be back for another weekend!

Nice quiet site, wooded campsites. Terrific campground breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, Hatch chile hash browns, pancakes to order, strawberries and blueberries) available at a reasonable price. A pleasure to stay here.

Our specs were for a big rig. Well, the camper fit, but the truck didn't really fit in the space. Had to move the truck to get into storage. Beware, PSI max is 22. That was a first for us and we have been traveling full-time for almost 3 years. Park employees were all very friendly and helpful. Power went on/off for 2 days. Last 15 hours in park NO POWER. NOT what I paid for.

Sorry for your issues here....Your site was 66' (feet)long, and at its narrowest point (between reflectors) 22' wide. We have a handful of sites for extra large rigs. Also sorry for the electricity outage in our City during a thunderstorm. We can't remember any outages 15 hours long in 2 yrs.

Very nice, clean campground tucked away close to the I-25. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Although we could not get any satellite TV reception, there was a selection of DVD movies which helped pass the time. We left early so we were not there for the breakfast they serve for a small fee. The electricity went out around bedtime, but I don't fault the campground for that.

Easy off the highway, clean camping with spacious pull through spots. Perfect for us to sleep for the night without unhooking our trailer.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Good location. Facility up to standard with most KOA's. But an abysmal water pressure of just 20 psi meant we had to fill up our fresh water tank and use the water pump for our stay. And the Wi-Fi was useless, especially frustrating because we had no cell reception.

We only stay here because of the location based on our travel destinations. Staff is great! Sites are seldom level and the utilities are located too far from where needed. Us and our neighbor needed extra hose and power extensions. Not your problem, but the las half mile road to your place is a disaster. Probably won't stay here again. Sorry.

When we made the reservation, we were told the park was full and the only site available was barely usable. The elect was from the site next door and water was at the street. The night we were there the park was about 40% occupied.

We were 70% occupied overall but in 30 amp sites, we were full.

We were originally assigned to a space that was listed as 50 amp service but when we parked it was only a 30 amp service. We were able to move to a difference spot and the employee was very accommodating. We really enjoyed the scenery as we had a spectacular view of the open field. We would definitely stay at that campground again if we are in the area.

This was our first stay at a KOA and we had a great time. Kids loved the playground, dogs loved the dog run, mom and I loved the breakfast even at the extra price.

Nice stop over place. We have been here before. They have a very nice dinner menu and will deliver it to your site. Free continental breakfast.

RV park was very clean and we'll kept. The only issue is the extremely low water pressure. We had to use our self contained water pump. Park pressure was so low it would not even fill our fresh water tank.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE KOA JOURNEY LAS VEGAS The Managers are the most kindest helpful people. I am looking for a piece of land and they were so helpful and kind to offer it. KOA Los Vegas, New Mexico (even though Google cannot figure it out), is now my favorite place in the USA. I cannot wait to get back there. See you guys soon!. Thank you! XXOO DAVE

Great camp hosts. Beautiful area with easy access. Nice to have a hot breakfast made for you at a reasonable price. Hit the spot! and I didnt have to do dishes!

Said no need for water pressure regulators as water is gravity-fed, but water pressure was very bad, almost to the point of not having any water coming out, just a trickle. Muddy puddles after rain, and weeds taking over. Very bad road in. I will have to say the staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were old, but very clean. We have stayed at many KOAs. This one not up to your standards.

Great staff; nice sites; pancake breakfast offered(!); Convenient to I-25

Thank you for your nice comments. Breakfast is more than pancakes. Eggs with a slight amount of Mexican cheese topped with side dish of green chile, diced potatoes and bacon bits. Also served is chopped fruit, sausage and orange juice. Brewed coffee is always free to Park guests.

One of the most friendly staffs i have have come across in all my years of travel, the town of Las Vegas, New Mexico was super. Wish i could have run across Walt and Vic, guess they were out on a call. The weather could have been a tad dryer.....LOL!

Usual KOA location between highway and railroad tracks, but only one train a day and the trees blocked highway noise. Beautiful park location with nice views, full services, great staff, etc. Saw wifi antennas but had to go to office to connect. Needed lumber to get rig level. Black volcanic gravel is a mess when it rains. But we loved the park and will be back, perhaps longer next time.

Nice,clean KOA with plenty of trees and level gravel sites. Staff were helpful and friendly. They offered a yummy sounding group breakfast on the patio. We did not join in due to our travel schedule but people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Location is great from I-25 with minimal road noise. Plan to drive very slowly on the short but washboard entrance road.

Katrine and JP were amazing!!! We absolutely loved the site, the shelter, breakfast was offered for a fee, and the pool room. If we're ever that way again we'll def be by. Its 10 minutes from the city but feels like youre secluded. Loved it!

The best part of this park is the couple that run it- warm, welcoming & they make awesome pancakes! You can have a great breakfast there for ~$6. Do it! The park itself is getting some much-needed love. Some areas are warn down but we saw several people working to improve things. It’s an easy stop off the highway on the way to somewhere else. Gravity fed water so although we had no issues.

We had mechanical issues with our RV and John, Robert, and Chris (management) were there to help us through it. The sites were level, restrooms were extremely clean with great laundry facilities and showers. Water pressure is gravity fed. Quiet was very important to us for rest since we were traveling.

This is a beautiful KOA -- the meadows and mountains this time of year (July/August) are lush and green. The facility was spotless, the staff friendly.

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!
