Welcome to the Lemolo Lake / Crater Lake North KOA Holiday!

We are now closed for the season, but actively booking for the 2027 season!
Prime sites and favorite cabins book quickly so don't delay!
We want to thank all of our guests from Oregon, the U.S. and around the world for coming and making 2026 a great camping season.
Our guests make the hard work we do worth it!!

WELCOME!
A little while back a couple came into the store at our KOA and asked, “why should we stay at your campground over others in the area?”  It got us thinking about what sets our campground apart and what we want potential guests to know when they are considering staying with us.  So, here's a list of things we think sets our campground apart from not only others you may find in the area, but also most other campgrounds you'll visit.

  • Clean – We are committed to having clean facilities.  From our deluxe cabins, bathroom & shower buildings, to our RV and Tent sites, we want every guest to check into a freshly cleaned facility.    If you ever find something that needs cleaned or attended to, we want to know.
  • Peaceful – There's no highway traffic, no train traffic, no airplanes over head (well occasionally an airplane) and we're tucked away in our own little part of the forest.  As a result, it takes this campground to a level beyond quiet that permeates the entire campground.
  • Updated – We often tell people this is “throwback camping" like it used to be.  However, you won't see cabins and other facilities that make you think you stepped back in time 30-50 years.  Every building at our campground has been remodeled within the past 5 years.  We are constantly updating and refreshing things to enhance your experience.  Throwback is how we feel, not how our facilities look.
  • Communication – We have a communication system on site that allows us to text you what's going on at the campground and you to reach out to us with questions or things you need.
  • Small size – Because we're a small park it doesn't feel busy or chaotic.  With a smaller number of guests, it also lets us focus better on our guests needs.
  • Customer Service – We want you to spend your time relaxing and enjoying our beautiful park and the surrounding area.  That's why we do things like deliver ice, firewood or even pizza right to your campsite or cabin with just a text.  It lets you continue to enjoy your camping experience while we handle those smaller details.
  • Atmosphere – One of the reasons we always suggest people stay more than 1 night at our campground is you can't get the full feel of what makes this place special in just one night.  While many people feel it when they arrive, it takes multiple days to get the full effect.
  • Kid & Pet Friendly - We allow kids and dogs in all of our cabins, RV or Tent sites.  We even built separate play areas for each of them.  We just ask that you keep them on a leash (the pets) and clean up after them.
  • Those little Extra's - Yes, we are located 80 miles from the nearest grocery store in the middle of the forest. BUT we have a Coffee Shop that serves all your favorite espresso (and other) drinks along with great breakfast sandwiches and pastries.  AND a Pizza Shop that cooks them up hot and delivers them straight to your cabin or campsite.   Not to mention a great little general store that you'll be amazed how well stocked it is with all those things you forgot or ran out of on your trip, plus those little items to remind you of the great places you went.
  • Other Fun Things – We sprinkle in Kids activities, FREE ice cream socials and Corn Hole Tournaments throughout the season to add to the fun.
  • Off-roader's Paradise - Most people don't know there are literally hundreds of miles of ATV trails in the forest surrounding our campground and can be accessed from a single point from our campground.
  • Not Just Crater Lake National Park – Of Course were close to Crater Lake NP, most of the campgrounds in the area are.  But we're way more than that.  Were a short drive to 7 waterfall hikes. We are on the shores of Lemolo Lake where you can swim, boat and fish in a beautiful mountain stream fed lake well known for it's great fishing.  Plus there's a 10-mile hiking/biking trail around the lake so you can adventure right from your campsite.

Come enjoy our hospitality.
Tell us about the adventure activities you're working on and we'll add a few things to your list from the area.
Whether your into Solo Travel or you're bringing the family and friends, it's all here waiting.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for you to create some great memories you'll want to share with everyone you can.
Come see and play at our beautiful lake!  It's the world's ONLY Dinosaur-Shaped Lake - (as far as we know).

We can't wait to see you!
Jim & Anita Hudson

Local Area

Crater Lake National Park

Lemolo Lake/Crater Lake North KOA is located just 18 miles north of the North entrance to Crater Lake National Park. The unmatched beauty of this national park is a must see for any traveler through the region and is the only National Park in Oregon. The north entrance "typically" opens around June 1st of each year, but can fluctuate a few weeks either side of that date depending on snowfall in a given year. The North entrance closes on November 1st each year, unless snow fall closes it earlier. The website link for this section provides all the details on road conditions and other information you'll need before visiting Crater Lake National Park.
If the north entrance is not open when you visit the area, don't worry, the South entrance to the park is open YEAR ROUND and only adds about 45 minutes to your drive.

Watson Falls

A local favorite and the tallest waterfall in the area at nearly 300 feet.  This one is well worth the 15-minute hike from the parking area just off Highway 138.  The trailhead is about 12 miles from the turnoff to our campground and is well marked along the highway with forest service signage.  As one of the most popular waterfall hikes, quite a bit of parking is provided and it's configured so most large vehicles can get in and out.
