They had a sink outside the building where one could wash dishes. Very much appreciated!

I don't remember the name of the host but his knowledge about the history of the campground is commendable. Booking and arriving at this KOA was all routine and chosen due to it's location on our trip back home. But when he came around and told me the history of the location? Wow, we were very impressed and gained a whole new appreciation of our stay. Would definitely stay again!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you very much. Glad to have you stay here.

Great little town to ride bikes in. Gravel driveways through camp, we some how picked up thorns from around camp or by the river. In spite of 3 flats in 2 days we would be back. Staff was great, had everything we needed in store. Great location near river and parks.

Easy, friendly checkin, clear and practical covid-19 policies, quiet campers, happy families. Last year we sampled Miles City's town life and historic context by visiting the Miles City Saddlery. This year we branched out by walking along the Yellowstone River just 500 yards away from the campground. We look forward to our next visit.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Felt very safe during the Covid crisis.

Very nice!

Love the history associated with the campground and the surrounding area. Will be back soon as we keep moving around to see things out West.

Came to Miles City because we had a funeral to attend in Glendive, MT. We were in a bind to find something, but due to a baseball tournament, it made it difficult to find. But, despite that, the Osters helped us out in a way they'll never know. It helped us out tremendously because we had busy to take care of in Miles City. Thank you so much for helping my family in this time of us grieving.

When we arrived at 4 pm the gnats were so bad we had to stay in the camper. Quiet time was not enforced. There was a loud group of people partying until after 11:30 pm. The campsites were so close together I could stand between our camper and the one next to it and touch both.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We responded to your call at 11:30 and asked the neighbors to go to bed. I did not find them loud however.

one of my favorite parks. Great place. love the trees

Always my favorite half way point to stay, take the small hike down the tongue river until you get to the confluence of the Yellowstone. Showers and facilities are always clean. Great job.

A complete RV package for a great price! Easy, friendly, clean.

Very friendly staff, horrible camping condition. Train comes through, at all hours and blares the horn, several times. The locals, drive right next to campsites and some acted very shady. I was awake, all night. Most KOA's are perfect for us, this one was not.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you did not like your short site. Yes the train is 3/4 mile from here and you will hear it. Yes, the site near you did stay up talking and staff did talk to them. We ask them to shut down at 11:30 but did not find them loud. It is always best to call us if you have concerns. We respond.

They really made us feel welcome. We will surely stay there again.

This camp grounds is right off the highway. The sign sits back and is low to the ground, hard to see. Beautiful sites, close together but not many sites so it isn't overwhelming. Great one night stay, easy in and easy out

Very pleasant stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Needed a place to stay for the night and called ahead. Office staff was great at making the reservation and had our info available after hours. It would have been nice if they told us that a truck spraying bug spray out the back would be coming along the road at night. We were cooking dinner in our campsite and we got sprayed with the poison. It smelled terrible. There was also train noise all nig

The deluxe patio sites are right next to a busy, dusty, levee road.
Jul 20, 2020
For a small town, this KOA was great. Hosts super friendly and helpful. Campsites kept neat and tidy, with no worries about dealing with other campers' messes. We would definitely stay here again, if we get through the area.

beautiful cg...was able to watch the neonexis (sp) comet without leaving my site. can't wait to get back again.

Pleasant campground. Friendly staff. Convenient location for a visit to Miles City. Several nice things about this KOA, but all negated by the horrible lay out with all side by side hook ups which afford no private space at your camp site. Wouldn’t return based on this fact.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Waiting until the last minute to reserve got you a buddy site. The Deluxe sites were alreay booked as well as the bigger sites with more privacy, those were also booked. You received the last site available and it was a large shared site and you were informed of that. You stayed two days because you could not find another campground in Montana to stay at. Still, glad you stopped by.

Nice park. Plenty of trees, wide level sites. Very friendly, helpful staff. Thank you.

The evening crew went out of their way to help us.
Jul 18, 2020
Just an overnight. Did have to disconnect our TH due to leveling, but otherwise a good stay. Very nice hosts who were familiar with our home area.
Jul 18, 2020
50 “old growth” oak trees........it was like a lovely plantation. The staff was top notch and the location was an easy walk to town. The showers were a bit dated but super clean and ample space with hard doors (so important in the Covid world. I really liked the dish washing station as well. And there was a small convenience store in the office with ample selection.

Beautiful grounds. Many sites. Smaller lots
Jul 18, 2020
Lots of big shade trees. Kind of in the middle of nowhere. Great overbite spot. Town itself is pretty dead.
Jul 18, 2020
Only KOA we found that allowed pool usage. Have to have keen eye when coming in off Interstate. Couple more signs?? Easy on-off
Jul 18, 2020
Staff is super friendly, facilities are well taken care of, clean and I really like the spacing of the sites. We didn’t feel like we were right on top of or too close to our site neighbors.

We booked the day before as a one night stay while passing between Wyoming and North Dakota. We pulled in after hours and left early. I think we were there a total of 12 hours. Didn't unhook truck or use amenities. Staff on the phone were friendly. Nice shady park with trees. We had a great pull through spot on the end. If you're a light sleeper like me… the trains will keep you up all night. I posted a quick video of the park on YouTube: Wandered Off or check my IG @wanderingbrandi

Arrived Oct 9th for 1 night. 1st stay. Had previous reservation. Lady checked us in easy and friendly. We were guided to site 20 as we asked previously for a site suitable for NOT unhitching our 20ft trailer. They had an unexpected sewer backup that morning which was being fixed by contractor. Rail line in vicinity but no issues. Sites are good size but no shrubs etc between. Small store in office. Huge cottonwoods. Nice info sheet for local places of interest. Wifi and cable tv are great.
