Would stay again next time in area

We arrived late and left early, so we didn't get to enjoy the facilities much. Easy after-hours check in. It was a little more expensive than other stays, but very close to downtown and a good stop on the way up to the Canadian border. The bathroom could have been cleaner- the smell was pretty awful.

Old, office smelled like old cigarettes. Bathrooms needed updates.

Our arrival was delayed, and we received a voice mail from Terry reassuring us of our reservation and providing instructions for our late registration. We departed prior to the office opening and missed saying thank you to Tammy in person!

Great campground. Friendly staff!

Facilities and such were ok, but putting a quiet time up when the train goes by and wakes everyone up multiple times is kinda silly

The staff was excellent. We got in late and really appreciated the phone call with instructions. Thank you!

Not a good space for small kids. The broken playground was very dangerous for kids to be playing on. The campsite is also right next to a train that blares the horn all night

I have always had a good run with the KOA, this is the first campsite that wasn’t satisfactory. The train track is about 2 football fields away and you are placed right in the middle of a neighborhood. If you use a tent, expect to be woken up by trains at least 3 times a night, have cars driving on the very *crunchy* surrounding street at all hours, and cars backfiring from the neighbors. Subpar

Friendly and very helpful staff. Loved the canopy of trees

The tent sites are REALLY small with little space between them. Also, the campsites were not well marked and it was hard to find yours. The person who checked us in however, was very nice and personally called us when she realized we might not be there before their office closed to tell us how to check in.

One of the worst KOA campgrounds I've stayed at. Is beside a railroad track and it was in a sketchy neighborhood. There were people driving thru the campground at all hours of the night, and the pool was not clean. In their defense they were having the pool worked on. The sites were not very well kept. The staff was not very friendly and we didn't see anyone there overnight.

Very, very gracious hosts. Pleasant location in town. The campground is shaded by abundant Cottonwood trees. I stayed in my tent and the site was roomy and grassy: A little close to the city street, but no real traffic.

Nice campground. Facilities were clean and the town was quaint. The only issue we found was the quiet time was not enforced.

Staff did not wear masks at any point, only a mens bathroom no womens, and no notice that the womens was unavailable. No obvious place for trash. Dish washing area did not have running water.

We have mixed feelings about this KOA. The older woman who check us in was a bit crabby but the other employees were quite friendly. The property was clean but rather run down and dated. Late into the night a couple cars with tent campers came in and were making quite a bit of loud noises whooping and hollering etc. Adjacent to the property is a road that apparently Is used by locals to party.

The camp grounds were very nice and the staff very friendly

Noisy
Aug 21, 2020
Very loud. Between the trains and the cars/sort bikes/quads racing by on the roads that surround the campground we got no sleep. Even if we had been able to sleep we wouldnt have felt safe enough to do so. Not a very secure campground. The people working there were nice enough it’s just a horrible location for a campground.

The park staff were very friendly and very welcoming... We are planning on making it a permanent annual trip.

Quick stop overnight stay, passing through, East bound.

Staff was friendly, facilities were clean, mosquitos were horrible, tent site was so dry it was hard to drive stakes into the ground.

Really appreciate how seriously this particular KOA is taking COVID-19. 30-min reservations for using the pool, 1 family at a time. Masks required indoors. Friendly, hospitable staff.

Wonderful welcome. The couple at intake were so gracious and helpful. Everything worked well. Nice spot, but a bit noisy right next to a busy road. Bathrooms and showers excellent condition. Would stay again.

Was a quick walk to the Yellowstone River, which was beautiful. The shower didn’t get hot so I had a refreshing cold shower in the morning, ended up waking me up nicely. I was tent camping and there was great social distancing between tents for the ongoing covid crisis.

We booked the day before as a one night stay while passing between Wyoming and North Dakota. We pulled in after hours and left early. I think we were there a total of 12 hours. Didn't unhook truck or use amenities. Staff on the phone were friendly. Nice shady park with trees. We had a great pull through spot on the end. If you're a light sleeper like me… the trains will keep you up all night. I posted a quick video of the park on YouTube: Wandered Off or check my IG @wanderingbrandi

Arrived Oct 9th for 1 night. 1st stay. Had previous reservation. Lady checked us in easy and friendly. We were guided to site 20 as we asked previously for a site suitable for NOT unhitching our 20ft trailer. They had an unexpected sewer backup that morning which was being fixed by contractor. Rail line in vicinity but no issues. Sites are good size but no shrubs etc between. Small store in office. Huge cottonwoods. Nice info sheet for local places of interest. Wifi and cable tv are great.
