Nice size lots, great water pressure. Staff needs to adhere to the speed limit as well as guests. We witnessed golf carts speeding by our site often.

Very clean and full functioning kitchen with many tools, gadgets, and utensils ( except for a kettle). We only noticed a few things that could be improved for an even better experience: half of the burners on the stove were malfunctioning, the dog house smelled a bit like dog urine.

Very clean campground with nice plants and grass. The bathrooms were very clean. Was not impressed with the counter staff unfortunately. We went in to ask about buying propane, and the woman behind the counter was talking to a friend of hers about a barbecue, neither wearing masks. We waited ten minutes, and she did not acknowledge us, so we left. Not too fond of that part.

This was our 2nd visit to the Montrose KOA and the staff was wonderful. A lot to go see around the area and anywhere you go the sites are beautiful. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you to the staff�

We have been traveling for over one month. During that time we stayed in KOA exclusively. This is Without a doubt the best KOA we have ever stayed in. Bill and Connie, the managers, were very friendly and helpful in locating our spot and setting up. I would highly recommend this overnight stop if you’re in the area.

We got the last spot behind the fence. Lost water pressure when resort was watering grass. Awful spot on gravel with no shade. Only reason I gave a 3 is because we got one night free because I complained.

It’s a tight RV park. We have a 39 foot TT and almost hit a few things on the tight turns. site 70, is between 2 people who live there. The one on the right has so much junk on the site and water was leaking. The one on the right leaves their big dog outside all day. Our 2 neighbors on both sides would constantly walk across our site to talk. We ended up leaving a day early.

The view was breathtakingly beautiful! Loved being so close to the river. The staff could have been a little friendlier and the restrooms were ok. The view definitely is the reason we will be back!

Quiet, lots of shade especially given the area. Very clean. Walking distance to various restaurants and a lovely produce stand. Awesome place.. highly recommend

This is a beautiful KOA that is extremely clean and has very nice friendly staff. Also was very quiet yet convenient to food or grocery.

After my online reservation was lost the gal at the office was very helpful in getting me a cabin. The location of the campground is a little strange but everything was neat and tidy.

Thank you for all your help for extending our stay while my wife had to be admitted to Montrose Hospital. A great Hospital. Besides ,also for extending our stay for the recent snow storm which prevented our departure for the south.

This is one of the BEST KOA's we have stayed in. It was so clean, extra large grass sites with large trees, staff was friendly and helpful, walking path for the dogs, also with a very clean dog park. We made it our base camp, rented a car and did super day trips. Even though your are in town, you never knew it looking out the motor home door and was easy to walk to great restaurant down street.

We are newbies. Camped in our electric vehicle. The staff were patient with us as we didn’t even know how to get the power flowing. Place was clean. I even trusted the bathrooms/ showers.

Very nice KOA. Easy check-in and facilities were in very good condition and working order. We were unable to get satellite reception and it would be difficult or impossible in most of the campground. It was certainly appreciated having the restrooms and laundry cared for at such a high level in these COVID times. Thank you !

Exceptional campground with adequate site spacing and lush lawn areas for picnic tables and outdoor enjoyment. Bill Madden and his wife really deserve an accolade.

Beautiful clean campground with large level sites! Quiet location. Pleasant friendly staff. Will definitely be back and I would absolutely recommend this location to family and friends visiting the area.

This was one of the best KOA campgrounds we’ve stayed at. Check in was cordial, fast and simple. Our site #8 was fairly level. Hookups all worked good. The campground was very well kept and the layout was great.

This KOA was a great place to stay and visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The bathrooms and showers were clean and we loved the goats and donkeys. Lots of fun!

Great location. Crushed rocks at sites but grass between sites. Sites large and level. Bathrooms, laundry and showers very clean. Pool closed for winter. Would definitely come here again.
