Stayed for one night while visiting black canyon National Park. Easy late check in process. Enjoyed the electric tent site but the tent pad was too small for our tent and had no privacy. Staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean

It was a one night stay, easy to find, area was very clean, restrooms and showers as well, quiet nice neighbors. Staff was very nice. Met the kampyard cats too. The tabby was very friendly.

Bathroom is clean, but area seems unsafe as it is within city limits. Tent sites are not properly demarcated / we were unsure where to park. On the night we stayed — someone else took our tent/ camp spot. Good thing we were on a campervan and we just parked on the border of KOA to use bathroom facilities.

Fire rings on website but not at campsite. Requested not delivered. Spoke to person up front again and I was assured it would be delivered. But no. Emailed twice and left urgent message as it was cold! No response. Morning person gave me some firewood to rectify. But you should not advertise what you cannot deliver!

The stay here at this KOA has been the best so far. From the front office to maintenance, the whole staff is so kind and friendly. It makes you feel like everyone is family. They also have the cleanest bathrooms and the grounds are well kept. Chelsi, Amber and Craig are probably the nicest people I’ve met. Thank you all for what you do!

Stayed in a tent site, which is right next to a dusty construction site where they may be building on to the camp. The RV area looked good. I would avoid the tent area.

Super convenient with the proximity to the National Park as well as downtown Montrose. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were wonderful.

I was visiting National Parks all summer staying IN the Parks tent camping. This was My 1st KOA for 1 night...life changing lol. Pool, A/C bathroom/shower room. HOT water, electricity . I didn’t want to leave. They were nice enough to let me stay 2 extra nights.

Staff was great! Loved the common areas such as the pool and the big tent with grills. Would have liked a wall up on the tent camping side between the koa grounds and the public so my gear was less exposed and there was more privacy. Also would appreciate a water proof shade above tent camping picnic tables to protect gear. But overall loved the location.

This was our 1st KOA experience - we typically stay in state & national parks/forests and were not prepared for how close our site would be to other campers. Our site was located between 2 mini-cabins with other tent sites on the back side. We barely had room to set up our tent. Being so close to others, there was no privacy. However, the showers were clean & pool was a nice amenity for the kids.

The campground was very clean and well kept up. The shower/restroom facilities were the nicest of any campground I have ever stayed in. Everyone who worked there was helpful and kind. This KOA served our needs perfectly.

Staff were friendly and the grounds were well-maintained, however, the WiFi was not working, and the AC in the women's bathroom went out on our 3rd day.

Beautiful KOA - unexpected larger sites with nice, grassy areas and HUGE, old trees. Pool and hot tub were nice. Staff was super friendly. I didn’t want to underrate them, because it was really nice, but I wish I could have done a 4.5 for just a couple reasons - 1) maybe a bit more stock in their very small store; 2) shower heads should be switched out to overhead rain as water oddly hits curtai

The overall camp was very nice.the tent spot was nit so good.there was no privacy by the side walk and pool. Also,a bright light nearby was disruptive to sleeping

We loved the staff, the store, the people, location, and cleanliness of the facility. Our concern was just being so incredibly surrounded by so many people. That’s kind of what KOA is about.

Only 3 men’s toilets for the entire campground, and TWO OF THEM were stopped up overflowing in the morning. AND, there was NO SOAP in the men’s bathroom AT ALL. Unforgivable.

Not a very scenic campground. The tent sites back up to some building that leaves their lights on all night. The tent sites are also right next to the playground, which is noisy. The pool was closed during our stay, which we didn’t know before checking in.

I stayed in a tent site. The tent sites are on the edge of the campgound with no screening from the nearby buildings and roads, so wind and dust, loud road noise and bright lights all night. The sites are next to the playground and pavillion, so kids flying frizbees into the site, and parents yelling at the kids from the pavillion. Loud talking til 11 or so in the pavillion.

It was okay. Camp hosts were great and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were VERY clean. Didn’t much care for the location - close to a busy road and didn’t feel much like camping… but overall good experience :)

Off leash dog area was not fully fenced in, so it wasn't usable or safe. When I was setting up my tent there were kids running around my site and it was noisy up until quiet hours. Bathrooms were clean.

Not one time have I ever been dissatisfied with any KOA installation anywhere around the USA. EXCELLENT place to set up camp. VERY impressed with the easy to operate app! Booked my entire stay on there!

Very friendly and helpful staff! The only thing I didn’t love as someone staying in a tent was the gravel. Some kind of sand, dirty or grass would have been much more comfortable.

Our trip started out on the wrong foot we had. Three different reservations and could not check in at any of them but we finally found KOA and it took us a little while to find our site but we finally got everything under control KOA was clean and friendly and very helpful ....thank you for making our trip 150 percent better we will be back!

The staff was amazing. The campgrounds were ultra clean. The location is just unfortunate; edges up to some seedy neighborhood. But they have no control over that.

Lot of road noise but the campground itself was very quiet. We were concerned about being right next to the playground but left very early in the morning so it was fine. Great staff and nice, clean facilities. Nice being so close to the National Park.

Would be great for family camping. Was not expecting all the amenities. Only wish is that tent sites were a little more spread out or more private. Nice sites. Just close together and directly next to the playground.

This is a beautiful KOA that is extremely clean and has very nice friendly staff. Also was very quiet yet convenient to food or grocery.

Great location. Crushed rocks at sites but grass between sites. Sites large and level. Bathrooms, laundry and showers very clean. Pool closed for winter. Would definitely come here again.
