Stayed in January and enjoyed the stay. I picked KOA because it is a known place as they are all consistent. Had a good pull though, clean power, Full hookup. Like many areas across the country they were experiencing a shortage of staff. This did not have an adverse impact on my stay. Average street noise based upon location.

We only stayed for one night on our travels back home. One of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at. Bathroom was clean and looks like recently redone. Laundry worked great. I did open one of the windows as the heat from the dryers literally fogged up my glasses when walking in the door. Overall a great stay!

They advertise a hot tub which we used one night but the other nights it was locked. Can’t get a hold of anyone after hours. Sites not level.

Very pleasant campsites, nicely shaded and level parking surface. The laundry machines and (men’s) showers could use some TLC though.

Great location to check out Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Easy day trip out to Ouray and Silverton. There is a pool and hot tub, nice facilities, and friendly staff. The sites were very close together and no fire pits, but other than that, it was a great campground.

Montrose Black Canyon NP KOA is extremely pet friendly. They even have an awesome dog park that my dogs loved. Very clean and quiet stay.

Spent five nights there did not use any of your facilities, quiet place, great location for four day drives that are very nice Colorado state monument, north side of the BlackCanyon, Grand Mesa, Million dollar Hwy. with the fall colors it was even better.

Great location. Sites gravel, but good size; grass separating sites. Pool closed for winter. Clean Laundry, bathhouse and shower. No problem with my nephew coming into visit. Would definitely stay here again.

The restrooms were very clean as well as the pull thru. The noise at this site was bad. The highway noise was tolerable but the guy on his tractor and the motorcycle with no pipes was not.

We have been staying at Montrose KOA for many years and we have never been disappointed with the staff or the camp sites. After several pleasant days we were about to leave and found we had a clogged black water valve. The staff found us a "sewer line snake" but it it did not work. An employee (Mr May, I believe) came over and after a bit of drain hose flexing unblocked the clog. He made my day!

Enjoyed the stay! all workers very helpful and friendly.. when they got the WI FI fixed it was so helpful.. It went down again before we left. Do hope it gets fixed soon for the ones who are still there. Swimming pool was nice also.

Very quiet campground. Spotless bathrooms. Staff helpful. Couldn't give a five because there were no chairs or bench in handicapped shower, or any women's shower. Not enough washers/dryers working when we were there. I suggest they attach bench to stalls as many other campgrounds do. Would stay again if in area..

We were put in space #9. We had the street four foot behind the rig and a field with a canal and lots of bugs two feet off the drivers side of the rig.

We were given a incomplete restroom code When we called the emergency number no one answered or called us back, luckily a fellow camper went back to his site and got us the information we needed Front office staff on arrival was not very friendly

Great location. Crushed rocks at sites but grass between sites. Sites large and level. Bathrooms, laundry and showers very clean. Pool closed for winter. Would definitely come here again.
