The Montrose, CO KOA was beautiful! Our site was great, the pool & hot tub were wonderful and the staff was fantastic. We definitely recommend this campground to everyone and hope to return again in the future. It’s one of the best in the KOA system!

Park is very well maintained. Easily accessible. Rates for the area during tourist season are very reasonable. Cable TV system actually worked satisfactorily. Staff was very helpful.

The camp was beautifully maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean showers, swimming pool and hot tub. Nice trees and picnic tables at each campsite. A little off the beaten path so not a lot of road noise. Very nice KOA.

Very friendly hosts on arrival and during our stay. Well maintained and great location for visiting Black Canyon NP. We'll visit on our next journey through the area for sure.

The showers were very clean and the help was great! While we didn't get to try the pool and hotub while there; too much on the go; they looked very inviting. But we did make use of the dog run for our 6 month old puppy and that was great! We also appreciated having the grassey areas between our RV's and the shadey trees. Nice park!

Clean bathrooms. Most of campground is nice. There is a bit of an eyesore house and yard on the east side of property due to the neighbor—not campground’s fault. But would recommend planting trees or fence to block the view. Tent sites are very small and close together.

Beautiful campground. Mature trees. Great location for all of the activities that we were doing. Friendly staff. Level site. Didn't use the pool or laundry/restroom facilities. The wifi was adequate for our needs. Would definitely recommend this park and will definitely be back!

This was probably our favorite KOA EVER! The park was clean, well maintained, quiet and offered very nice amenities. Wifi and cable were both very good! The KOA folks there were the nicest and most helpful of any we have encountered. The setting is beautiful! The laundry room was exceptionally clean and easily accessible! We were here for two nights, but wish we had stayed a week!

Arrived late at night. Found our site information (envelope) taped to the office door quickly. It contained a map to the site, and wi-fi access codes. Only problem we had was a few sites near ours had extra vehicles parked out in the main pathways which made it difficult (but not impossible) to maneuver into our assigned site.

Tent sites were behind the fence, which didn't feel secure. Pool, hot tub and bathrooms were nice.

Excellently maintained grounds, nice wide site with grassy area. Workers were friendly and helpful, easy in and out for our motorhome. Very convenient for visiting the Black Canyon NP and Curricanti Recreation Area. Also nice it’s so close to Montrose for anything we need but still quite and feels like a nice campground, we would definitely return.

This Black Canyon KOA was clean, quiet, all the ammenities were in good Working condition, the pull- thru was compatible with big vehicles, trees, grass, etc... Had a great stay. Will come back.

Best, cleanest KOA I’ve stayed at. Beautiful shaded sites made the heat a non issue. The help was always there to assist and seemed to like their job. Already planning to come back.

The location was rather odd, more or less in town. There was a mix up with our reservation, but Debbie the manager was very accommodating and found us a spot for the first night and a second for our second night. Thanks to the staff for helping us out.

Clean site, super nice employees. However, the tent sites are very small and right on top of each other. They are also right next to the playground, pool, and a barbecue and seating area. There are “quiet hours” but these were not followed. Loud adults drinking and yelling until midnight, and kids on the playground at 6 am. I would not stay here again

we stayed on a tent site. the tent sites are too close together, our guy lines had to be staked on the next tent site, and they are adjacent to a driveway for the property next door, so that our cars were parked off the KOA and on the neighboring property's driveway. ( a derelict building on a junk strewn lot, with a shared gravel driveway)

The heated pool wasn't,which was the only reason we chose this KOA. Our special needs daughter couldn't enjoy any of the stay at the actual KOA because there were hundreds of mosquitoes and the playground wasn't suited for her at all either. It was the biggest disappointment we have had at a KOA. Also, the staff were all rude, no one greeted us or spoke to us, or offered any type of activities. S

We absolutely love this place. Have stayed here on more then one occasion and will definitely be back. It’s super clean, very friendly staff and extremely comforting. If you ever get the chance, I highly suggest you try this KOA. You will not be disappointed!

Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean showers and restrooms. Was not impressed when first arriving, but quickly changed my mind. Street the KOA is on is shabby.

Very clean and nice park. The pool and hot tub was great and the parking areas for RV's were set up very nice.If in that area again, I would stop there.

Wide gravel site with a green spacious yard Helpful staff. Quiet and away from road noise but close to all amenities for shopping and close drives to many things to do and see.

Great campground, helpful friendly staff, lots of different places deliver food even auto parts can be delivered from car quest auto parts, clean well maintained pool, lots of shops in town and close to the national park, will be back next year

Fire pit! Had to put fire on the stone which was 10’+/- from camper or trk verses the gras which was a much safer distance and the design didn’t burn the grass I didn’t understand other than that all good!

What a great place to stay. Clean and very friendly. Love the tree and grass at each site. Lots of room between sites which is so nice. Debbie, the manger is very helpful and fun to talk to. Stayed in a motorhome at the end of July 2019. Highly recommend this park.

Great location. Crushed rocks at sites but grass between sites. Sites large and level. Bathrooms, laundry and showers very clean. Pool closed for winter. Would definitely come here again.
