Chelsie just went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We went there in a group for a Rally and she did everything possible to make certain our attendees were happy! Thank you Chelsie. The staff there works hard!

I stayed in a tent site. The tent sites are on the edge of the campgound with no screening from the nearby buildings and roads, so wind and dust, loud road noise and bright lights all night. The sites are next to the playground and pavillion, so kids flying frizbees into the site, and parents yelling at the kids from the pavillion. Loud talking til 11 or so in the pavillion.

some difficulty with leaking water hydrant but will be repaired later. Chelsea and the crew were extremely helpful. not a problem with the rest of the utilities. Am sorry that highway 50 is giving Montrose so much trouble.

Office staff was excellent and our site had a large amount of healthy grass between us and our neighbors. Pool is closed and looks like it will be for awhile as it is empty and it appears they are going to resurface the pool itself. Excellent location for Black Canyon NP.

The cabin had a horrible smell. It was extremely hot and the air-conditioner would not cool the cabin. There was also a large hole under the door that just about anything could have crawled in. There was also a few spiders and their webs just hanging around. Not at all like advertised. We went somewhere else.

Restrooms were very clean. Sites were spaced nicely. There was shade and grass. Sadly they were working on their pool so it wasn’t open. Dog area wasn’t great. Nowhere for a person to sit and limited shade. Overall it was good.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin/Rental and loved the setup and large patio. Also enjoyed the Sunsets. Staff Great too and hospitable.

The pool was under maintenance, and the temperature was hot. They had multiple washing machines out of order. There were only two washing machines working. My over all stay there was pleasant, but my needs were not met. The staff was good, but overall grade wood be average from the many KOA's I've stayed at in the past.

We had a very comfortable stay in their Deluxe 6 person cabin. We had several needs come up while we stayed and they immediately met those needs, even when a couple required them to run to the store! We were very appreciative of their service and prompt care of our family. Thank you Montrose KOA!

Visited last two years with grandson and will definitely be returning. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Grounds are well cared for and all facilities clean and welcoming.

one nighter motorcycle camping. great staff/hosts. clean place with everything i needed. location a bit janky for tent camping though. served it's purpose.

Hosts were great at check in. We’re able to help us extend our stay as we need some repair work which they helped us find. Sites mostly had trees. Plenty of space with your next door neighbor. Some sites were tight for bigger rigs. Great place to stay and see national park, Ouray and Telliride. Will definitely put this on our list to go back. Travelled in a 31 foot travel trailer.

The pool is tiny and wasn’t open when we were there. The gravel on the site was nice and even but the grassy area at the site was as not mowed, unattractive and uneven. Much of the campground was unkempt with long-term/ permanent???, messy sites and Dog park and surrounding area was like a dump; disgusting and even our dog didn’t want to have anything to do with it. The stay here was nice. It had terrible wifi, we could hardly receive emails and the laundry only had two machines working. The sites were well separated and there were areas of grass between each site. The campground is nicely located, convenient to nearly everything. We would stay there again.

Would have liked to be informed when booking my stay that the pool was not open due to resealing and lining......that is one of the main reasons booked this reservation for grandchildren we were traveling with.

Site 31 was not even close to level. It wrecked havoc with my leveling system to the point that I had to drive up on wedges just to get level. The Cottonwood trees make it impossible to have a level spot but they were nice shade trees. No pool. It was out of commission but the park had people working on it. Good Power and water pressure though. Thanks.

Hosts were very nice and helpful. However, pool was closed even tho it was over 90 degrees in June. Very sketchy area for walking the dog. The dog playground was dirty, no grass and little mulch, and a Home Depot bucket for water, and very small. If you are just parking your RV for a night, it was fine, but facilities were virtually non-existent for the price paid.

Park is located on a dead-end street next to a field away from major roads. It is very quiet. Lots of really very good size. Friendly and helpful.

Website stated the pool was heated and open from the end of May! Promised the grandkids a pool, specifically booked this park because of the pool, but, when checking in found out the pool was closed for maintenance! From the looks of the pool area, the pool will never open! Very disappointed!

Pool was not in working order. Sprinklers were flooding the dirt roads. The check in was pleasant. Overall I enjoyed our stay. The grounds do need some attention.

Terrible! This place is a trailer park with a KOA in the front. The office staff are trash, never open on time and bad manners. The staff who live on property have terrible dogs who get out and chase/terrorize KOA families and their pets. Close to Black Canyon NP but not worth it. KOA leadership should be ashamed of itself giving this KOA the Presidents Award, they have clearly never visited.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Will be staying here again in the future when we are in the Montrose area.

Great location. Crushed rocks at sites but grass between sites. Sites large and level. Bathrooms, laundry and showers very clean. Pool closed for winter. Would definitely come here again.
