Very clean. Staff helpful and supportive. Wore masks, had plexiglass and enforced social distancing. I stayed in bunkhouse, which was great. Would remind campers to bring their own soap and linens. ( I always do, but have noticed that several cabins I have stayed at lately have had the liquid soap dispensers in the cabin).

We usually tent, but the tent sites were not very nice, pretty much just dirt lots, so we rented a cabin instead.

My stay was very nice. The cabin was clean and the bathroom was clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly. The beds could have been more comfortable but overall it was good value for the price and I would stay there again.

This was my first time staying at a KOA. I was pleasantly surprised! We stayed in a cabin and it had all the amenities we could think of. We enjoyed grilling out on the patio, swimming in the pool and the private bathroom. We will be staying at a KOA in the future.

This KOA is very clean and well-kept, and KOA staff were friendly and helpful. As a place to stay I would give it 5 stars, outside of our lodging.The website says our cabin sleeps 4-6 people. It doesn't. The bedroom and sleeper sofa sleep 4 adults, but an adult cannot even stand in the loft, and there's no air-conditioning up there. (Also, there wasn't a single sharp knife in the cabin.)

The stay was relaxing. The campground was very clean and quiet. The camp host(s) werr very knowledgeable about the area. We will be coming back to stay there.

The deluxe cabin we stayed in was not as clean as it should have been. The refrigerator was terrible so was the stove. There are also tiny black bugs crawling around everywhere. The blinds were filthy. But then again this is a campground not a five-star hotel.

Was very clean and real pretty. Unfounded from our past experiences this koa seemed to crowded The tent sites we so close to out cabin we had to whisper. Way to close! Not more than 20-25 feet from cabin porch.

We stayed in the “Hideout” Cabin and it was a most pleasant mini vacation. The whole family was very happy with the layout of the place. Management & staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again.

We had reserved a deluxe camper cabin over six months ago and we ended up stuck in an odd little hotel room style Rental. We were very disappointed in this as it did not have the ambience as the camper cabin nor did it have the outdoor space. When I approach the front desk about this problem they were extremely defensive and only offered a $12 refund initially.

Great stay-was in cabin number 2. AC works fine for a cabin just leave the door closed. Great pool. Very surprised on how many trees and shady areas there are! Stayed 4 nights

The manager worked with us on snafu of our reserved lodging not being available our first night. The air conditioner on reserves lodging froze up and we didn’t have air which was needed. We were in the lodge and it was really hard to manuecer around in it. Very closed up feeling. Otherwise it wasn’t bad.

We upgraded from a tent spot to a cabin since the tent spots were too small for our tent and little to no shade. Unfortunately, the cabin had not been thoroughly cleaned, even though we waited till after 2 to check in because of cleaning. When we informed management of multiple issues, they sent someone right away to our cabin. Surprisingly, it still was not cleaned to our satisfaction.

The restrooms/showers are well maintained and clean. The Pool was nice and the playground area was great for our 5 year old. The internet wasn’t good (unable to connect most times) and there aren’t fire rings at each cabin (they will bring one to your cabin, if requested.) This KOA is on the smaller end of KOAs. Hosts were awesome!

Nice sites. Nice laundry facilities. We had our own bathroom in our cabin so I can’t speak to the bathrooms but the entire campground seemed well kept. Nice people. Note: cabin park 2 was advertised to have a queen and a twin bunk. It did not. It had queen and a very small single smashed between 2 walls. Over 6 feet person will not fit. Also the cabins air conditioning had a weird smell.

The KOA managers were really nice. Doing laundry easy. Cooking in the barbecue area was a breeze. Enjoyed relaxing under the trees at the motorhome site with the family and being able to go to the roomy cabin for the night. Thank you Montrose KOA :)

Not very friendly at desk when I checked in, and was informed that the water was off & they didn't know when it would be on. I had been traveling for several days and needed a shower. Few hours later I checked the bathroom & the water had been turned on but no one had informed me. Also was very cold in the night and the heater was broken, and no TV. I would like a partial refund please.

We were missing a lot of the amenities available at other KOAs that had drawn us to stay with you in the past. The pool wasn't open, (COVID) but also the playground was small, and there was no putt putt or kids games or any place for them really to play and enjoy. Unfortunately, because we have kids, this one is off our list. That being said, all staff there was very nice.

i have stayed at many KOA's and found them wonderful, not this one. the cabin we stayed in was great until we went to bed. the sofa sleeper was dirty and the fold out bed was horrible. the whole piece should have been thrown out. the pillows were the worse ones i have ever encountered. i have stayed at KOA's with beds and pillows that i wished were mine, not this one. i have had neck pain

Overall, my stay ws good. I have been to this KOA numerous times on motorcycle trips. However, they seem to have added new gravel which is deep enough that it makes maneuvering a bike very difficult. That alone would make me reconsider another stay on future trips.

The office closes early. Luckily they live there and were able to help us out. I had reservations, but they didn't have them on the books. I made originally for the day before & then called & talked to them to have it changed to the next day. Evidently it didn't get changed on the books and they charged me as a no show the previous day. We lucked out in that they had a cabin still available.

Great location. Crushed rocks at sites but grass between sites. Sites large and level. Bathrooms, laundry and showers very clean. Pool closed for winter. Would definitely come here again.
