Everything was great! People are nice and very understanding and willing to help. The manager is always doing something to keep the grounds up and everything working. I rate this KOA at the top of the list.

Quiet, beautiful, well-kept campground. Perfect base camp for exploring nearby mountains! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!

We had a pleasant experience. The staff is super friendly. Having a spot right on the river was glorious especially with the leaves changing. I will be recommending your campgrounds to our Keystone cougar group. Thank you!

The Murphy KOA is our home away from home… Always count the days for our next return..Matt, Jenni, Kat and Katie…none better..please show reverence around the mound in front of site 32…that’s all I ask… Joseph ( Stephen ) and Wendy White.

We enjoyed our beautiful spot on the river! Kind hosts helped us maneuver our little pod for us newbies! Close to the beautiful Cherohulu hwy for foliage drive and excellent fishing on Nantahala and Fires Creek.

Nice, clean and quiet place to go. Our lot was backed up to the river and it was very peaceful waking up with a cup of coffee staring at the river. My family and I stayed for Halloween time not a bunch of people decorated but we sure did, it was fun and we all had a blast. We will return agian. We loved it. It was very clean and well maintained place to visit with all the views of the Mountains.

Owners were the nicest people and so accomodating! They even put straw at our front door when it rained. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this campground!

Love this place just hate they had all the rain Halloween weekend. Matt is on top of everyday usual and Kat is always great to be around

Very nice campground and super friendly staff. We arrived about 20 minutes after closing and they were still helping people get checked in and led me around to and guided me backing into our site. The riverfront site was nice and deep. Unfortunately we arrived for two solid days of cold and rain but still had a great trip. Will definitely be back in better weather. Thanks again!

Beautiful place in the mountains with a river to walk beside. Very clean. Huge Dog park. I arrived well after dark and they met me at the gate to direct me to my spot. Excellent customer service!

Wonderful campground. Beautiful. Best keep campground we visit. Matt is always working to keep everything perfect. My dogs love the dog run. Peaceful.. Extremely friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

This was our second stay and we loved it! Vic had cable issues at site 38, but kept working until it was clear. The Jones (site 38), the Sikes (15) and the Lucas (35) all had a fantastic time. Matt, thank you for making the park so well kept. We all commented on how hard you worked. Jenny, Cat and the others made our stay fun and easy!!!

We stayed in a cabin right along the creek front. The sound of rushing waters while sitting by the fireplace or on the screened in porch was wonderful. Their entire staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a great time! Park is clean and well taken care of! Kat was an awesome host! We hope to come back next year & meet family there. We can stay in our RV & they can rent a cabin! Beautiful Fall foliage!

Staff very friendly and accomodating. The only issue we had was the can opener in cabin 4 did not work. Also the hot water in the shower did not last. Don't know if an element is needing replacement or what. Minor things. Very quiet peaceful campground. The other campers were all very friendly. Unfortunately, did not catch a fish in the river. lol

Upon arrival at this campground, the staff was very quick and efficient checking us in. A staff member also provided great service by leading us to our campsite, ensured everything was in order, and even offered to back in park our rig if needed. (Never had that offer before). The campsite had good amenities. The power was stable, good cable access and a clean bathhouse with laundry room.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend or stay there again if we are in the area. The folks we dealt with were very personable and helpful. Could not have asked for a better stay.

Stay was great, staff was fantastic. Only problem was site 17 was very tight, so tight after setting up camper had to move camper to allow another camper to get in later that night. I didn't mine moving, but it was an inconvenience especially after being setting up my campsite.

We have been coming here for a few years. Matt the owner truly cares about his campground and it's evident in the amenities and the changes he makes from one visit to the next. Well the setting and ambiance are breathtaking and I can truly come here to relax and decompress.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. We had a spot right on the river which was absolutely gorgeous. Matt & Jenni were wonderful hosts and super friendly. Matt was constantly working picking up garbage, delivering propane tanks and firewood and taking care of the grounds. Campground is well taken care of; clean and beautiful. One of the best things about this campground to us was that their doggie area was over an acre of land. Most campgrounds either have a tiny little run or nothing at all. This was a huge fenced in piece of land where our dogs could run off leash and play. We stayed there during Thanksgiving. Matt & Jenni hosted Thanksgiving dinner for all the campers staying there during the holiday. They provided the turkeys, stuffing, gravy, sweet tea and paper products. Everyone who attended brought a dish to share. I made sweet potato casserole. It was such a wonderful time and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great folks running the place. Patience, seemed to be their awesomeness! Pretty nice to great campsites. Nice set ups for power, water and cable. Looking forward to a trip back there.
