Highly recommend! Very quaint and peaceful. Large Kamp K9 for our four legged friends. Staff was very accommodating and always working on the grounds. Great location for the Great Smokey Mountains.

We cant say enough good things about the Murphy koa, from the owners and staff who are absolutely awesome. The location cant be beat, thats why we keep going back every chance we get. Once or twice a year at least.

Great place to stay. Lake Hiawassee is about 15 minutes away. Pontoon rentals , fishing, and all kind of dining in Murphy NC. Casino is very close.

KOA Peace Valley is very special to me and my husband. The staff is very nice and helpful and the campground is clean and comfortable. We have had repeated stays there and will always go back FOR THAT NEXT TIME!

Really enjoyed our stay. Every employee was friendly and helpful. This was about our fifth visit to this campground. Every time we go there it seems they have made improvements. Good to see they keep trying to improve a great camping experience. We already have informed our friends of this great destination. We definitely will return to this venue.

Outstanding facility! Super maintained. Plenty of space. Nice river site. Largest fenced dog park I have seen---dogs loved it! We will return again soon. This place makes KOA shine.

Have stayed in KOAs coast to coast. M/PV is the best managed, beautifully maintained, cleanest of them all. Matt, Jenni, and Kat are professionals that treat you like family. Two awesome dog parks and many areas to walk dogs, including by the river. Bathhouse, laundry, pool sparkle. Nearby Murphy has many excellent places to eat and shop local. Once you go, you’ll be back.

It is very well named! Peace Valley is conducive to rest and relaxation and that true “get away from it all” idea people are looking for these days. At the same time you can choose to visit a number of interesting spots in the nearby small towns! Best of both worlds.

We were right on the river so the view was amazing! The campground was quiet and clean. We met some really nice people staying around us. It was a great trip! Highly recommend this KOA and will definitely be back.

Our stay was in a cabin and it was beautiful. Clean and well stocked to make us comfortable. They came by every day and asked if we needed anything. Wood or ice. It was just the most peaceful atmosphere.

Peaceful, quiet and beautiful KOA with gorgeous views! Jenni, Matt and Kat go out of their way to make the stay the most enjoyable. Clean, accommodating, and firewood delivered to the site! Camp store has essentials, along with fun things to buy. Easy in and out. Large sites. Highly recommend and we will be back! 25 foot travel trailer, site 36 along the river rocks!

We were with a rally group. The campground was clean and neat, with landscaping being tidy. Fairly level site with gravel and grass, as well as some tree-shade cover during the day. Had opportunity to interact with some of the staff and it was a great experience - nice, friendly folks! We used bathhouse/Pavillion/game room. Need more light in game room, as we played cards after dark.

We were here as part of a FMCA local chapter rally and had a great time. There are so many scenic routes to drive in the vicinity and a lot of good restaurants.

We came for a few days avoiding the hurricane season in Florida. Really felt at home at Murphy/Peace Valley and ended up staying a month. It’s a great clean, well maintained, and well run campground. Jenny, Matt, Kat, and the whole crew make you feel at home. We had intended to try other campgrounds in the area but saw no reason to move. Great people, great facility ,great area! Highly recommend

We have been coming here for a few years. Matt the owner truly cares about his campground and it's evident in the amenities and the changes he makes from one visit to the next. Well the setting and ambiance are breathtaking and I can truly come here to relax and decompress.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. We had a spot right on the river which was absolutely gorgeous. Matt & Jenni were wonderful hosts and super friendly. Matt was constantly working picking up garbage, delivering propane tanks and firewood and taking care of the grounds. Campground is well taken care of; clean and beautiful. One of the best things about this campground to us was that their doggie area was over an acre of land. Most campgrounds either have a tiny little run or nothing at all. This was a huge fenced in piece of land where our dogs could run off leash and play. We stayed there during Thanksgiving. Matt & Jenni hosted Thanksgiving dinner for all the campers staying there during the holiday. They provided the turkeys, stuffing, gravy, sweet tea and paper products. Everyone who attended brought a dish to share. I made sweet potato casserole. It was such a wonderful time and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great folks running the place. Patience, seemed to be their awesomeness! Pretty nice to great campsites. Nice set ups for power, water and cable. Looking forward to a trip back there.
