The staff friendly and helpful. We stayed one night. Close to the interstate. Entry roads a little narrow but fine for my 30 ft trailer. site was not very level. I would stay again as this is the midpoint of a two day trip.

Our stay at the Newport KOA was ok. We enjoyed our time with our family. However, I made our reservation well in advance of our trip to Newport in February 2019 for May 24-June 1 2019 for two campsites side by side and that wasn't what we received. When we checked in our reservations were nowhere near each other. This was very disappointing. We won't stay there again.

The staff was fine but they allow people to pay to use the pool from the neighborhood. On Saturday my kids wanted to go to the pool but someone, that wasn’t staying at the park, was having a birthday party at the pool and there was no room anymore park guests. Also the power at the campground is horrible. Last time staying at this KOA for us and our friends.

Well kept and very quiet at night. Wooded areas but easy to get into and out of with your big rigs. Dog park for your pet. Would definitely go back again. Totally enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff.

The quiet hours were not enforced, at the pool Saturday there were more people there that wasn't camping at the KOA than what was.The staff needs to check on who has a right to be there and who doesn't. We pay to use your facilities they don't. There was NO soap at the sinks in the ladies rooms except in the showers. We use to enjoy coming there it was clean and not far from home.

The campground itself was very nice but your water is HORRIBLE!! It took two days to clear the pipes and water heater of that terrible sulfur smell. I’ve been literally all over this country and that is by far the worst water I’ve come across. Now for the bill, I just received the email that it was $50. We are good Sam members and nowhere was there a discount shown.

I had such a wonderful time i just reccommened a cowoker to come here. She says she is in august. There is so much to do and see. Its only like 30 min from pigenforge. The cabin was woderful it had a half bath n bed. I couldnt beet the price. I will be definetly comming back. Oh and the owners were wonderful. They should you how to go places if you didnt know. And all the other campers were nice

Stay was great other than the site was not,completely level. Had a slight slant down the hill. Bathroom also had no soap when my wife used it before we left.

Campground staff are very accommodating and friendly. THE ONLY reason WE are not giving a 5 is the pool is open to the community and that overloads the pool area and restrooms. Very easy to find off rt 40south.

Uneventful, fairly quiet. Lots are tiered and and have a sideways pitch, fairly level front to back. Small picnic tables. Narrow road into campground but passable.

We didn’t have a bad stay but the interstate noise was a bit loud. We also was missing a picnic table and fire ring! Everyone was very nice though.

I reserved a tent spot with electric and water. When we finally get there we were told that the electricity and water were not working. It was 98 degrees out and we have small children so we told them we needed electrical. We were put in an RV spot straight in the hot sun with no shade and right next to the highway. The guy never even turned on the water. The visit was overpriced for what we got.

It was clean. The pool and the laundry facilities were closed way early. We never got to use either. It also looked the people who did not camp there were using the pool. Way overcrowded.

We were booked for two days and were told we would have the same site for our stay but after setting up we were told we would have to move to another site. Frustrating. Laundry closes at 7 and pool closes at 8, even though it was Memorial Weekend Holiday.

Only stayed overnight. It was O.K.. Road in is a little adventurous, especially the little bridge. Some noise from the interstate.

A nice campground with friendly workers. The little store has some of the basics. The restrooms were older, but updated and extremely clean. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. Downfall was a lot of road noise.

this campground was a halfway stop for us and we were very pleased to find it. It is in a quiet place the hosts were very friendly and the campground was easy to navigate.

They advertised Cable TV but have cable boxes you have to hook up to your TV. Our TV’S are flat screens mounted flat on wall. No way to hook up the boxes. Had they said cable boxes on their web site, like other campgrounds do I would have knit wouldn’t work for me. I recommend this to the hostess. I felt with this misrepresentation of cable I should have been offered a refund.

Loved the campground. Sites were roomy and well-maintained. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The only negative was the campground's proximity to interstate I-40. The sound of traffic was constant and pretty loud. The traffic noise is the only reason I did not give the campground 5 stars.

It’s a step above staying in a Walmart parking lot overnight but that’s about it! Horribly aged and overgrown. It looks like a graveyard for run down abandoned seasonal campers.

An overnight stay. Good directions. Reserved online so check in process was fast and painless. Site was well maintained. Dog Park area was clean but all gravel. Did have a nice bench to sit on. Cable needs a converter box but they will let you have one for free. I didn't bother as I was just over-knighting. Propane available. Bathrooms and shower area ok. Recommend. 28ft Class A, no towed vehicl

I was towing a teardrop trailer which I had hoped to park outside the cabin I rented, but since the cabin was on a dead end path it would not have been easy to drive and park there with a trailer being towed, so I ended up using an unused sport about 50 yards away.

Restrooms were very clean, campground was quiet and relaxing. And the camp cat Koa even hung out by the fire with us. Hope to return soon.

Nice sites big rig friendly however getting in and out of the site is not. Corners inside the grounds are tight There is no cell service and the water pressure and quality are low if you don't drink the water you should be good. Folks are good the y are helpful and friendly. One of the few places we have been that we weren't bothered by peoples dogs barking. Thank you I really do hate barking dog

We were traveling to our son’s in NC and stopped at the campground for the night. We enjoyed our visit. We used the showers which were very nice and clean, and enjoy walking around the campground after dinner. We would definitely stay there again! �

Stayed there for a couple days. It was nice enough. There was no wifi at all and was told there hasn't been any for months. Basically false advertising at this point if it's been months without it. People are nice and they seem to be trying to renovate the park or something. Otherwise it's pretty quiet other than the high way, but that can be easily ignored if that doesn't bother you. Oh and those cabins are very cute. Didn't stay in one, but they look nice from the outside, especially with the Christmas lights. The lights should stay up all year, would be cute.
