We had an awesome stay. Campground is well kept, office people are very friendly and the bathrooms are very clean! It was my first time camping and I absolutely loved it!

I have a 43' motorhome towing. The site assigned was NOT level, and the water and cable TV connections were at the back of the site. I pulled in as far as I could while still being able to level (my front tires were off the ground, if I had pulled in further, I would not have been able to level my coach.) and connect to water and cable. An extremely RUDE employee demanded I disconnect my car.

Reserved a platform tent site. When we got there we had a small uneven gravel pad. Late arrival so there was nothing I could do. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Newport. The 1st time we were promised a gravel pad with water and electric. Water/elect pole was too far away for our extension cord, plus tent sites have a 30 amp tap on pole. Had a converter this time, but they should warn others

Came in late, no power when hooked up. Called and told a different site with power. Left early the next morning. Loved the free coffee!

The biggest Vincent we had is not being able to get level in the site. Even with the help of a neighbor we unable to even get close to level. Site was very unfriendly in that regard.

The staff was nice however it was really a campground for long term renters. Many of the RV/trailers were very old or in a state of disrepair.

I have made overnight stops here for over 30 years, always pleasant and accommodating. I reserve far in advance and prepay. Setup without unhooking and leave early. Nice hosts.

The stay was okay. I didn’t like the on slot of acorns pounding on our roof. I realize it’s an act of nature, but it created more noise all day. It created more work when leaving, to have to clean off the acorns before we could bring the slide outs, in. There seemed to be several residential trailers, I hadn’t realized it was an option with KOA.

It’s a nice, well kept campground. The facilities are clean but it’s too close to I-40. The noise from the constant traffic is too much. Mostly early in the morning.

This was the worst KOA I’ve ever stayed at! Dog park was gravel, bench was broke. The sites are so close you could see in your neighbor’s camper. Our picnic table was broken. Never again!

Enjoyed our stay, could have enjoyed more if they hadn’t decided to grade the park roads on the weekend! One could expect any park to improve and upgrade their property, but not on the weekends!

This KOA was not as nice/upkeep as other KOA's. Apparently the campground had just been sold and the new owner didn't quite have it together. The staff were all very friendly but we found the campground/pool/bathrooms in general to be dirty. Hopefully the new owner will make some changes and updates.

I didn't stay long. (in late and out early). But, when I checked out - the staff was so sweet. I could have stayed and chatted for a while. The sites are a little close to one another but the pull through fit my truck and 35' TT with slideouts no problem. I arrived late at night and lighting was great.

Some of the facilities look older and need updating but facilities were clean. Staff VERY helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

This campground's website creates the impression that they are remotely in the Smoky Mountains. They are not. They are just off the interstate, with full traffic noise, and many if not most sites are filled with full time residents. I would not recommend the site.

It was a nice little campground with little to no noise. We enjoyed sitting out by the campfire at night. Everyone was very friendly.

Noisy:Park is adjacent to major highway and close to a regional airport. Cleanliness:Unsanitary bathrooms and showers- cleaning substandard especially with COVID. Slippery shower mats due to mold accumulation under the mats. Space:NO PRIVACY! Owner maximized the space resulting to having VERY TIGHT space. Safety:Picnic table on uneven area. Adjacent fire ring too close to our tent.

The site was fantastic- stayed in a tent on a raised wood platform, very comfortable and spacious. Showers were clean and hot. Would absolutely come back.

I wish the Kabin had an extra outlet, specifically in the bunk bed area. Shower could us more cleaning.

In truth I utilized the spot as a layover on my way to Asheville. The space was well marked and clean, as was the bathroom. The surrounding campers were pleasant as well. The area was appropriately lit. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed there for a couple days. It was nice enough. There was no wifi at all and was told there hasn't been any for months. Basically false advertising at this point if it's been months without it. People are nice and they seem to be trying to renovate the park or something. Otherwise it's pretty quiet other than the high way, but that can be easily ignored if that doesn't bother you. Oh and those cabins are very cute. Didn't stay in one, but they look nice from the outside, especially with the Christmas lights. The lights should stay up all year, would be cute.
