It is next to the interstate, a lot of traffic noise, the lots are very uneven, it seemed everyone had to use leveling blocks, it was nice to have the cable. No activities on sight.

Bathrooms dirty, lots are extremely small. Office smelled like cat urine and animals. Overall disappointed. Staff were all friendly. Really did not meet my minimal expectations. We stayed a week but would be okay for a single night at most.

nice and clean campground. beautiful setting. lots of things to do within an hours drive. only bad point is the closeness of the interstate and the noise associated with that. we had a white noise maker going all night but could have used a little more white noise to drown out the semi trucks on the interstate.

A wonderful place that is just enough off of the beaten track to avoid kids but close enough to Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg to be accessible!

Our site was not level but was close enough that I didn't worry about it since it was dark and raining when we arrived. The Confederate flag flying from an employee golf cart was a major turnoff.

It was quite but fun. People were amazing and helpful. I am now a KOA member. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Thanks guys had a blast.

People were friendly . But honestly, camping next to a free way is not for me . It would have been quieter in a rest stop . When semis engine break , you can’t talk .

Gone to this KOA once a year for 3 years now the staff is friendly and the grounds and facilities are the cleanest I've seen at a campsite

the campground is great. the people were great and super helpful. The shower house is being remodeled but was still very clean and presentable. Nice level pull through site for my 30' trailer with a slide out. The place is very close to a ton of fun things to do! The only negative is that it is a bit too close to the freeway for my taste. I could hear big rigs all day and night!

Unfortunately many of the fire rings had smoldering plastic and trash in them. Made the campgrounds smell like burning garbage. It’s a pretty park. Needs to be cleaned better. Unfortunately the laundry facilities are located in the office, which closes at 4:00 pm. So if you arrive in the evening there is no way to wash your clothes.

Love our stay, we stayed in a cabin and it rained so hard and the sound on the tin roof was awesome, loved having half bath.

First of all the campgrounds were nice, clean, and the staff very helpful. However, if you are noise sensitive this is not the place for you. It is right on the highway and there is not a spot that does not get traffic noise 24/7. Do not let anyone downplay the noise in other reviews it is the worst that I have ever heard. It does not become background noise. Did not sleep for our two night stay.

If it wasn"t for the two trailers that has them Lights on the Front sitting side by side in the Row aceross and up a little would have been alright,,,,,It shine in My Rig and maybe my neighbors too all night long.,,,,,They need to shut them down at curfew time so people can get some sleep......

This KOA was fine for an overnight stay. There were small toys and a dog bone at the site. I don't think the sites are cleaned up between people camping. The owner was very nice at check-in, but I was uncomfortable that no one in the office was masked up.

Got in a little late, so had to do self check in. It was very explanatory. It was dark and raining but we found our site. We plan on traveling a lot and using KOA a lot. Thank you for the ease of traveling.

Site was not level and loose gravel makes blocks slide under tires . Terrible hump/bump at entrance.

Beautiful campground. Clean, nice restrooms and showers. We were a bit concerned that the cabin was not cleaned between guests as a folding camp chair was left inside the cabin and a bundle of wood was left on the porch when we arrived. So we sanitized everything inside. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

Superb level site next to a brook. Lots of amenities and very thoughtful comforts in restroom and placement of pet stations. Some highway noise, but not bad. Beautiful wooded setting. Thank you! Will definitely stay here again

Was not clean. No water in the cabin that had a bathroom. The "bathroom" was a toilet with a blanket hung up.

This small campground is not too bad BUT their roads need new gravel and our fifth wheel drug on the blacktop getting in the entrance. You could tell others had too. No one wants to tear up their rig so we won’t be going back

Since it is January, not many people were there camping. There appeared to be some permanent occupants in the campground. My only complaint was the noise from I-40. We found an excellent restaurant in town called Lois’. Overall, great experience!

We just stayed one night on our way passing through. Staff was very friendly, campground was nice and clean, the only drawback was the highway being so close.

A shower was out of order and the large laundry room sink was out of order. Bathrooms constantly smelled like cigarette smoke as did the office/store. Cigarette butts were also littered throughout. Water wasn’t available. The spigots where wrapped up in some sort of frost proof blanket that were heavily taped. WIFI wasn’t good. The cabin was nice and quaint. Pricing was so so.

They had water issues when we first got there, but fixed in a short time. Because of the winter season and having just recently had a lot of snow and melting, it was rather muddy, and a lot of tree debris lying around, so not a real fair assessment of what the park might be like during the "camping" season. It was great for what we wanted, just an overnight stay on our way to Florida.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. This is why I gave you 4 ����. The pull throughs need some work. Your utilities are out dated. The gravel was very uneven. Spend some $$ and do some upgrading.

Great cabin. Clean and warm on a cold night. Comfortable beds. Courteous staff. Bring ear plugs because of highway noise (not the fault of the camp ground). Thanks all around!

Our stay at the Newport Smoky Mtn KOA was great. The campgrounds are clean, quite, beautiflluy kept, and the owners are great. Friendly people abound. The grounds and atmosphere is so great my cat decided to stay (jump out of the camper and didn't return, he never did that before). If you see a white cat with redish brown makings and a big fluffy tail his name is Buddy and he is the sweetest.

The staff are wonderful. Necessary supplies available, garbage pickup daily. The bathroom facilities and grounds could use some upkeep, that is why it is rated at 3. Overall stay was good and we enjoyed it.

I will rate 5 stars however the pull through spot we were placed (6) was very uneven and required quite a bit of leveling of trailer. Overall a very pleasant experience and will definitely keep in mind for future travel.

Stayed over Thanksgiving weekend, very nice. Was a little noisy with what appeared to be local traffic in and around the campground. Bath house was clean and nice, water temp was cool/Luke warm. But all and all very nice and convenient to area sites and recreation.

The campsite was clean and nice. But there never was any hand soap in any of the restrooms.

Stayed there for a couple days. It was nice enough. There was no wifi at all and was told there hasn't been any for months. Basically false advertising at this point if it's been months without it. People are nice and they seem to be trying to renovate the park or something. Otherwise it's pretty quiet other than the high way, but that can be easily ignored if that doesn't bother you. Oh and those cabins are very cute. Didn't stay in one, but they look nice from the outside, especially with the Christmas lights. The lights should stay up all year, would be cute.
