I love the fact you have the site locations painted on the street this helps locate your site quicker especially in the dark. Very pleasant area for a quick 1 night layover.

We were only there for a quick overnight stay on our way to Florida. It was late and this was supposed to be a pull-thru, paved site...unfortunately it was neither. We had a very difficult time backing in in the dark, but other than that everyone was friendly and it seemed nice. I wouldn't stay in the same spot as it was extremely tight, no room for even a fire but fine for one night

The park allow dangerous types of dog on your grounds for my dog was attacked on 10/30 21 while I my family were staying there - we had site 287 -when a pit bull attacked our dog at the dog camp area- the came loose from its Haress and rammed into entry gate -got inside where my dog was and girlfriend was and KILLED our dog! The Koa campgrounds need to change dog rules so it’s safe !

Our campsite was absolutely AMAZING!! We just purchased our 1st RV/Motorhome 3 weeks ago, and this was our very 1st overnight trip with it. When I say this experience "exceeded our expectations," I truly mean it!! The grounds were immaculate (very clean)....the amenities were extremely nice and clean...the onsite staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service.

Easy check-in and check out. Very friendly staff. Cabin was clean and comfortable. It was great to be right next door to King's Dominion!

My daughter found a bug on her pillow once she pulled back the covers. And bugs were on the blankets that were fold up. My niece saw spiders which I did remind them we were at a campsite. I would come back if I have a better room and insect spray.

Fantastic RV Park right off 95. Friendly and accommodating staff. The grounds are meticulously maintained. We liked it so much we are going back in a week.

Stayed one night. Nice well kept campground except for the clogged sewer system that backed up when we tried to dump at our campsite.

Everything was very nice from the welcome when we first arrived. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and helped accommodate our family with moving to a closer cabin next to ours when they arrived the next day. Our cabin was very clean and we really enjoyed the experience.

Was a great place to stay while going to the Kings Dominion. The shuttle makes it easy getting to and from the park.

We call this our “home” campground. Always bring family & friends. Love the shuttle to KD! Love the comfy sofa & TV/ fireplace in campstore. Friendly, helpful staff. Very unfortunate incident in dog park H’ween weekend. A pit bull on a lease dragged its owner into the dog park & killed a small dog. My grandson & a friend witnessed this. Horrible Park must restrict aggressive breed dogs

TWe stayed at the Richmond KOA on our way south to Myrtle Beach from our home in NY, and again on our return trip. It was a great halfway point and right off I-95. The main attraction is the Kings Dominion Park, it seemed that a lot of the campers were there for that. There was a large group of tent campers near us who arrived after dark and took over the two nearby bathrooms on the morning.

We stayed overnight at the Richmond KOA on our return home from Myrtle Beach. We were able to get a pull through site so we didn’t even unhitch. It was extremely close to our neighbors, but it was just overnight. There was a warning on the KOA map about high water pressure and they were right! After blowing out our hose, we installed a pressure regulator and fortunately had a spare hose.

Great place. Love coming during the week, quieter Could not believe that our friends canceled week before, yet there was someone in that site when we arrived Why put so many campers so close when there were many more spaces they could have gone?

Most staff friendly, couple not. The worst part was the shuttles to the park. If there is a lot of traffic, they will stop running the shuttles until it clears. This could be 2-3 hours you are left standing outside the park. They do not tell you this up front. .We walked back and were told by one of the drivers it was not her problem. Wifi & cable not good.

Only stayed overnight while traveling to Florida. Everyone was pleasant and helpful in getting us a site for our 41' 5th wheel.
