Quiet & super clean, but this KOA's bathroom always makes me laugh w/their insanely high mirrors - at 5'4" I can only see top inch of my head! Lol. Teenagers/babies always sitting at full mirror bench, bench needed by showers as 2" gap to store clothes/shoes while showering doesn't work. Women do not "towel up" & walk amongst strangers to changing rooms. Beautiful, just silly bthrm design.

Nice, clean facilities. There is a night guard who did rounds during the evening that provided an added feeling of security. Pleasant staff. Would recommend if you are going to King’s Dominion.

Always stay here wknd or longer when in the area/at KD & love the campgrnd, but the bathrooms - not my favorite. A bench, an actual shelf (2.5"x3" soap dish DOES NOT count), or cheap chair is needed in each shower area. Women have shampoo, conditioner, razor, shaving cream, soap...which must all be SET ON THE FLOOR so u must bend to the floor 4 each item. Getting dressed w/out a bench stinks too!!

Our scout troop stayed in the open tent area and found the campground to be a good fit for us. The park staff were efficient at check-in. There were plenty of fun amenities that we didn’t take advantage of during our stay. The shuttle to the park is great and the drivers are super pleasant. A planning note: around the time the park opens, the shuttle line can be long.

This was a very enjoyable stay. The bathrooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and though pricey, the items in your store met our needs. I have only one "complaint"/suggestion: I had a 12-year old grandson who was very uncomfortable in the men's shower area. Please keep in mind there are not just men, but children, needing to shower, who don't feel comfortable without privacy.

Nice, clean campground. Only things I didn’t like is that the noise curfew was not enforced and there was no option for tent sites to rent/buy towels and wash cloths.

If you are traveling with children, you will love this campground. The night we stayed it was a full house. It was very loud and the bath house was swarming with kids blocking the doors. As tenters, I was disappointed to see that the bath house was located in the middle of the high end RV’s; quite a walk from where the tents are. Lots of amenities and very clean.

When checking in at the store I walked in & said hello. 2 women workers were standing at the desk and ignored me. I stood there for a minute then asked if this is where I check in.rudely they asked if I could hold on and went back to talking. It then became clear that they were discussing a call. From the beginning they should of told me that they had a call and that I would need to wait.

loved the bathrooms! the showers were terrific. it was a little frustrating not having an escort to my site, as i have had in other KOAs. It was after dark and I had never been to this campground before so I felt the visit started off on a sour note. My opinion improved with the beautiful store, bathrooms, and helpful staff. I also appreciate that there were trashcans throughout the camp.

The stay was good, very convenient if your going to Kings Dominion and the free ride over to the park. The only problem that I had was that there were 14 available spots, 4 family's camping, and they assigned a family right next me. Why?

Did not like paths in GPG Leading To Other Campsites. We Had Several Issues With Patrons Walking Dogs And Riding Bikes Through CampSite.

Great experience. Have been coming here annually for 5 years ��� clean, fun, the pool is amazing, safe for the kids to ride their bikes. Staff is so friendly! We will continue to come Back!

The grounds were clean and well-kept. The shower and bathrooms were always clean and dry. I found the area to be quiet and peaceful. We will definitely come back next year!

There was a huge group near us that was very loud all night long. Also, the primitive camping sites are right next to the main road, and we could hear cars all night long. On the positive side the bathrooms at the main lodge were very clean!

I lived the stay. Only problem is when u all have the fire pits sitting up sideways they are dangerous. My wife was playing with the kids and ran into one, cutting the lower stomach and both legs, hand and wrist. We didn't want issues so we didn't say anything. We do have pictures!!

So this was my second stay at this campground, and was very close to the same site as last time 17 and 20. The tent sites are honestly ruined by the camp stores spot lot. My tent was so bright all night that I struggled to sleep. That was even with blocking the light mostly with our car. Please find a solution to this. Either turn them off, or dim them. Light should be considered "noise".
