Front desk staff was fantastic and so helpful. We arrived late at night and found our campsite info in the late check-in box. Very easy pull-through site and perfect location next to i-95 for easy on/off during our road trip. The surrounding facilities (gas stations, etc) are pretty dumpy, but the KOA was just what we were looking for.

Best of all the sites we stay at on this trip. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Very well stocked store, and although they are cashless the laundry facilities were easy to use with a card. Plenty for kids to do! We had an elite site with a Weber grill which was perfect for our cookout. Excellent stay! We will definitely be back!!

Free transportation between KOA and Kings Dominion is a huge savings.

Check in was fast and friendly. Pull thru site with number large enough to read. Site was level and clean. No noise. Will definitely come again.

Great KOA. Well kept grounds, clean bathrooms and the staff is very helpful. We stayed in the Spring so it wasn't super busy. No highway noise and the train that's near by is barley audible. Would stay at this KOA again! We stayed in site 161. Easy access, only 1 neighbor and large site.

Great location. Shuttle service to Kings Dominion. Close to Richmond. Fire wood is over priced at $9 a bundle. Propane refill decently priced. Lots of activities for the kids. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Everything was great except the hookups: extension was needed for sewer, barely made connection with electric cord. Otherwise, was great.

Not a Happy Camper! When we checked in, we were given incorrect directions on the map to get to our site (#172) so we wound up initially pulled into it in the wrong direction with our utilities on the opposite side. Had to call the office for assistance. The woman that responded was helpful and when asked and lead us on a long and winding route around park to get to our site entering correctly.

Beautiful park, very clean, friendly staff. One suggestion. The bathhouse showers have no benches. A bench is nice to have in the shower stall for sitting and shaving your legs, to keep you things off the wet floor, for sitting down to put your shoes on, etc

We have been spoiled by the space at the state parks. As with all commercial campgrounds, sites are smaller. Some site have the utilities placed in odd and inconvenient spots. Our water was close to the camper, but we needed an extension to reach the electric. Our friends, electric ran through firepit. The park is well maintained. Clean bathrooms and showers. Would stay again.

Got to our site just before office closing time. Park not crowded but were given a site between lots of trees, but site was way off level, so bad that we had to move away from water and could not open slide because of tree on opposite side. There were many other sites but could not get moved because they close the office by the time I was trying to get set up.

Early seasons stay just for an overnight stop, staff was very friendly and helpful, and grounds were very well kept. I would imagine during the up season and when the amusement park is open park will be very busy.

This is the worst camp ground I have ever stayed at. At this area the tent sites are placed next to the main road and rail line. While the cabins and fith wheels and large campers are back in the trees. There are no raised areas for the tents as stated in their internet site. Lucky for me I slept in my van. Please note the showers have no place to put yours clothes when showering. Theres more -

Nothing special, easy on & off of I95. They listed a delivery pizza place that said it does not deliver to the campground.

Amazing. Such a well run campground. The facilities are top notch. We are usually just staying overnight but it's a great place.
