Beautiful park, very clean, friendly staff. One suggestion. The bathhouse showers have no benches. A bench is nice to have in the shower stall for sitting and shaving your legs, to keep you things off the wet floor, for sitting down to put your shoes on, etc

We have been spoiled by the space at the state parks. As with all commercial campgrounds, sites are smaller. Some site have the utilities placed in odd and inconvenient spots. Our water was close to the camper, but we needed an extension to reach the electric. Our friends, electric ran through firepit. The park is well maintained. Clean bathrooms and showers. Would stay again.

Got to our site just before office closing time. Park not crowded but were given a site between lots of trees, but site was way off level, so bad that we had to move away from water and could not open slide because of tree on opposite side. There were many other sites but could not get moved because they close the office by the time I was trying to get set up.

Early seasons stay just for an overnight stop, staff was very friendly and helpful, and grounds were very well kept. I would imagine during the up season and when the amusement park is open park will be very busy.

This is the worst camp ground I have ever stayed at. At this area the tent sites are placed next to the main road and rail line. While the cabins and fith wheels and large campers are back in the trees. There are no raised areas for the tents as stated in their internet site. Lucky for me I slept in my van. Please note the showers have no place to put yours clothes when showering. Theres more -

Nothing special, easy on & off of I95. They listed a delivery pizza place that said it does not deliver to the campground.

Nice Campground. Unfortunately the newest camping issue is the lack of etiquette, which is not the campgrounds fault. New campers don't know the rules or teach their children.

arrived and was informed that they would not accept U.S. cash.you must use a credit or debit card or you could buy one at there machine.as a veteran I consider this a slap in the face to all americans. will never stay there again and am advising all my friends who travel to avoid kings dominion.sites there are very tight youbarely walk between the one side of you to hook up .

It is a great stop on our way home from Florida. Sites are good, staff are friendly & it is close to interstate 95.

We liked our site set up. The restrooms and bathhouse was very clean. The staff was very fro and customer service driven.

I have not stayed in a KOA campground in a few years however from now on every trip I make it will be KOA. This campground was clean, store organized and the young lady who checked us in super friendly. I am planning on various long road trips and will plan my travel route via KOA campgrounds!

We paid for a premium site, with WiFi, cable, large “yard”. There was no WiFi, and the cable was awful. The site was so small we couldn’t open the living room slide all the way or it would have hit the electric pole. The steps on the other side were off the concrete. The site was full of water from recent rain. We won’t stay here again.

Nice place. Enjoyed the camping feel even though we stayed in a cabin. The bed downstairs was not very comfortable. It could use some sprucing up. Some noise in the morning just after 8:00 sounded like leaf blowers that continued until at least when we left around 10:00.

I used this campground as a quick stop on my way to florida. I arrived late and i left early. my site, although it had water connection, did not have water. Maybe it was cut because of the temperature? in that case i would have liked someone to tell me. I was also assigned to a site with water/electric connection on the wrong side, unconvenient. Overall okay, very close to i-95.

Sites too close together. When you put your slides out, and your neighbor puts theirs out, you can’t have your blinds or windows open. Train track so close to the campground, it sounds like it’s coming through the camper. Blows horn at night. Cashless system is a pain. A small jar of jelly was almost $8 in the camp store. Unfortunately, there are no grocery stores nearby.

RV spot too close to each other. We could have touched the RV from our window. The blast of the train at 1and 3 am made it difficult to have a peaceful night’s sleep

Great off season rate for one night. Very nice and clean bathroom s. Staff was helpful and friendly. Nice pool and game area outside , too cold to use it. Liked that they had 3 sinks for dishwashing AND a nice dog wash! Who else has that? Will stop here again when traveling.
