We were in town for Winterfest at Kings Dominion. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and our family of 6 fit perfectly.

We stayed for my wife’s birthday weekend celebration. KD Winterfest. The cabin was roomy, clean and comfortable, especially the queen bed. Other KOA’s I visited the mattresses were lumpy and too soft. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose this KOA in the future. TV’s in every sleep area was a plus!!

We stayed one day and it was nice,cozy and just perfect for my 1st time in the cabin,one of the bathrooms was not clean ,also the sofas,kinda gross but i guess it happens.Would get 5 stars if it was clean because is a beautiful cabin and grounds.

It was okay. The upstairs was freezing no matter what the temp was set at and the paper thin scratchy comforters were no help at all. The place was also dirty. Cobwebs on the ceilings, dirty and stuff in the vents, the AC filter upstairs was filthy and there were kid fingerprints on almost all the windows so we know those weren’t cleaned. The top windows need shades as well.

My family and I enjoyed this new experience at the cabins. The cabins were very clean and spacious. The one I would love to see is a handle on the bathroom door for easier grip to open and close them.

Easy check-in and check out. Very friendly staff. Cabin was clean and comfortable. It was great to be right next door to King's Dominion!

My daughter found a bug on her pillow once she pulled back the covers. And bugs were on the blankets that were fold up. My niece saw spiders which I did remind them we were at a campsite. I would come back if I have a better room and insect spray.

Everything was very nice from the welcome when we first arrived. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and helped accommodate our family with moving to a closer cabin next to ours when they arrived the next day. Our cabin was very clean and we really enjoyed the experience.

The only complaint I have is that there is a space in the door so when we arrived there were bugs/ants everywhere and inside of the vents were completely filled with bugs/dirt. Luckily I had pesticide spray that I used to get rid of them. Besides that everything was wonderful. The cabins were still cozy, and the staff members were kind and helpful with booking.

we stayed in a deluxe cabin - 3 children and 4 adults little tight. had an issue sat. am with ants in a bed in the loft and had to call someone to come out. they came out quickly and also changed the sheets. bathrooms also very tight for someone who is a bit overweight. I also asked twice before arriving if we had a gas grill and was told twice yes. We come to see no gas grill or fire pit.

When we got a confirmation for our cabin it said we had a gas grill and when we showed up we did not! Good thing we brought a skillet! Had a toaster, coffee maker and small fridge! And how it sleeps 10 I won’t figure out!! We made it work! And it was clean! Thank u

Fantastic! Clean and convenient to the park. Perfect for our group of teenagers who could hop on the shuttle and enjoy Fright while adults stayed back at the cabin.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here with my 3 grandsons. They loved the cabin and I found it to be very comfortable. The best part of all is easy access via the shuttle back & forth to the park. Major kudos to the shuttle bus driver who found and quickly turned in the cell phone I lost to the park's lost & found. I didn't know where I'd left it and it was crucial to keep track of my kids. Thanks

Cabin was a good size but not very clean. LOTS of bugs in the cabin, dirty floors, and musty smell. If we were scheduled for more than 1 night, I would have not even stayed. Also, at ever other KOA, deluxe cabins have basic utensils and plates/cups/bowls. Dissappinting that these have NOTHING. Not what you expect at over $200/night. Why have a coffee maker if you don't offer coffee cups???

I would give 5 stars but there were lots of these strange bugs inside the cabin, not sure where they kept coming from, and we were hoping there were more things to do for the kids, otherwise great place to stay!

We love the Kings Dominion KOA. The facilities are great and the staff is amazing! During our stay we had a few challenges...our kids locked the bathroom door and we could not open it, they sent us the most amazing gentlemen to fix the problem. We were also unfortunate enough to have a sick child during our stay. They provided us with extra linens and towels and supplies to help us clean up.

The staff are always wonderful, helpful, and friendly. Anytime I had a question about Kings Dominion, the staff would call the park and ask if they could not answer it. The campground is clean, well maintained, and nice.

SO VERY relaxing in a super busy hopping place. Nice to be able to relax in the country...that's in the (or VERY close to the) city.

Amazing. Such a well run campground. The facilities are top notch. We are usually just staying overnight but it's a great place.
