The RGKOA staff was very friendly & helpful! We were disappointed in assigned site, it was tight for a 40’ Fifth Wheel & Truck. Had to fit between tree & rocks & moved rocks to extend slide. Took 30 minutes to wiggle out of site on departure. Recommend RGKOA assign better fitting sites per unit, saw camper vans & pop-ups in much larger sites than ours. The cost was high as well. Thanks!

Great hosts, very scenic. Campground sites were spacious, level and everything was very clean. An added benefit was a shuttle service to and from downtown Canyon City. Would definitely camp their again.

We had an amazing view of the mountains all around. The area is very cleaned and well taken care of. The staff was amazing and answered all questions we had!! Will definitely be back.

Great location and a well managed camp ground. The store and team were all very friendly and well trained and the experience from initial checkin to checkout was seamless. We did not partake of any of the kid oriented activities, however communication was good and our fellow campers seemed to enjoy! Little details like being able to charge to your space were nice touches!

I loved the accommodations, but the restrooms were never cleaned in the 48 hours we were there. They were really gross, especially the toilets, and showers were dirty too. The trash was never picked up from them and they smelled bad. The koa otherwise was lovely.

Our first time at a KOA and it was awesome! Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Amenities were fun for the kids and dog. ��. We will be back.

Great AT&T cell coverage, the big slide was fun, close to great trails and all the Royal Gorge stuff. Super friendly and helpful staff. Our site needed a fair bit of leveling.

Sites are very uneven. All dirt, no grass or trees by sites. At best this is a place for a night but the uneven sites is still a problem to get level.

Although the park was nice the sites were too close together and too busy for us. Also the rocks used for decoration were nice they were more of a hazard as far as walking around them also maneuvering around them with our 5th wheel.

Great location, beautiful scenery. The bathrooms were gross. The faucet handles you had to hold to wash hands which is hard when washing hands, showers were gross and too small. The wagon ride was fun, our cabin was in a great location to pool and playground.

I had the best time. Im so glad that i cancelled my hotel to stay in a cabin, here. We can't wait to come back.

Great time; Jun 17&18. We had a few small cabins and some tent areas. Cabin was nice; not big, but adequate to sleep 3-4 adults easily, and room for small kids on floor if needed, and the AC was a great "luxury"!!. There is some highway noise as camp is not far from main road, but nothing bad. Overall, I'd recommend and would use it again.

There is nothing special about this campground, with the exception of the new cabins. No club K9, worthless wi-fi, very few trees, overflowing and nasty dumpster. For the same price, we stayed at manicured KOA in Ft Collins where they pick up your trash from the site as we walked out dogs around an on-site lake and lounged under huge shade trees.

Our water supply splitter had a leak and the lady at the counter did nothing about it. In fact I overheard her badmouthing us as we had removed the splitter since no one was staying in the spot next to us so we could stop the leak. After 2 nights of it leaking and creating a huge puddle a gentleman noticed the puddle and fixed the problem. I didn’t catch his name but kuddos to him!!!

Large campground with many options for campers. Only 3 toilet and 3 shower stalls made am a bit crowded.

Upper section the units are WAY to close. We requested our group, four of us, be placed together in December and id didn't happen. There were empty spaces closer to our group. We have much better service in prior years and that is why we returned. The gentleman who showed to our spot went up and beyond in service.

Employees were very friendly and welcoming. The campground is old with sites are very close together, all gravel/dirt and not easy to level camper. The surrounding area is beautiful, Canon City is very a very interesting and historic town.

The customer service is great - but the campground is pretty run down. It would help if you stopped advertising the “family amusement area” which probably isn’t even up to code. The playground was pretty grim: four branches aren’t exactly a quality jungle gym. The highlight was the pool: but with the number of guests using it, I’d recommend cleaning it multiple times a day.

we were in the newly opened area and there were no showers, restrooms or trash dumpsters available. The pool should be netted out during the day.

We really did like this park. However, it has so much potential with a little money. (Putt putt- so fun but needs some updating). (Slide- great idea, but literally kids are walking to each drop b/c it won’t slide. Paint and wax it properly). (Benches/playground- so many layers of paint, you probably need a lead addendum). Buy a new set.

The camp ground was nice & clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful. My site was called a patio site & I had no patio on my site. My fire pit was so far away it felt like I was using the neighbors fire pit. The rock walls between the sites are to big & make it hard to use fold outs on camper. The sites should be wider & fire pit closer to the camper. Nice views of the royal gorage .

We had a wonderful time it was very peaceful and quiet and the campground was very clean and the people that work there were very nice and my younger daughter was very thankful for one of the Camp ladies who gave us some apple cider vinegar to help with her sunburn Can’t wait to enjoy more time there the pool was great the kids loved it your showers were awesome and clean lots of things to do��

Beautiful campground set in the mountains. Nancy the manager is helpful and sweet. Very quiet and kept very clean.
