I have stayed at multiple KOAs and other camping grounds but this one (mostly the staff) needs work. We arrived 10 mins before closing. We asked about propane filling but were told about other places. After which the following happened; while the bathroom was clean it stunk something horrible but the worst part was being woken up at 630am to a construction crew next to my camper without any warnin

Our site was too short, the water was cut off, and the men's bathroom smelled like sewer.

Nice enough facility, however in the absence of cable or broadcast TV, functional WiFi would be essential for obtaining news, weather forecasts etc. Even while roaming the entire campground on foot with laptop, I found only one spot with usable but weak connection.

The sewer drain for site C-20 was clogged up and we had to move trailer just to dump.

Our first time at a KOA. Pretty much as expected. We appreciated the convenient and frequently cleaned bathroom. We were surprised and disappointed to learn on our second morning there that the water on site was not to be used for drinking or dishwashing due to a pipeline break six weeks ago that was still under repair. We would have appreciated having this information before we arrived.

Our stay was great. We only stayed for one night as part of a winter road trip around Colorado. Our reservation info was posted when we arrived. The bathroom and shower facility was nice, warm, and clean.

We had such a wonderful stay. Nancy at the front desk is extremely helpful and sweet. She went out of her way to find information for us, and even drove back to the camp when we couldn't get the restrooms to open. The camp is clean, sites are a good size, the restrooms are really well kept and the amenities are a plus!

Off Season: we love this place..FALL & WINTER QUIET…Clean.. & The Staff is Wonderful. We have been here twice now, and booked for a third time in 2022. Keep up the Good Work!

customer service was excellent as expected any discrepancies were address in timely manner and very friendly way (no regrets). As most commercial campgrounds sites are to close together, we understand space is money, we stayed for two weeks and every other day ether neighbor or both was moving in general to close, we camp for views and openness but sometimes it feels like an apartment complex.

Excellent campground. Close to Royal Gorge and many attractions. Restaurants were first class and delicious. Will stay at this resort again when we are in this area.

We were there during the off season and not much going on but it's still a nice RV park. Great upark, Sweetie and Harlee loved running around in it. I did see a few deer in the mornings. The water pressure was great. No problem with wifi. The people working there were fantastic! They were extremely helpful and informative. Hope to go back here again!

Called at 5pm, recording said office open til 8pm. Left my # but recieved no return call. I showed up at 5:30, no one was around, the office was closed. This is the first time I have not been met by a host at koa. There was no sign telling me of a host. I am just glad the electric and sewer worked

The KOA campground wa roomy with lots of places to walk our dogs, but there were stickers everywhere. Each walk, one or both dogs got stickers. We visited in late fall, so the grass was dead, but there were plenty of pinion pines. There was even a nature trail to the south. Deer roamed the premises at night, as there were lots of hoof prints.

Will stay here again if I only need the basics. WiFi and all hookups worked fine. However I got here right at 5:00 and the office was closed. Sign said 10 to 4. Really??? How many travelers reach their destination by 4:00? 7:00 should be the earliest so we don't need to break out a flashlight to find our spot on our own. Whatever happened to customer service?

good facility - they are continuing to improved several sites that we observed - clean and neat. bathrooms excellent. 4 stars only for our site needed a little leveling and improvement to make the parking easier and not sloping downhill. we will stay again and recommend it to friends. close to royal gorge

We were there during the "off season" so it wasn't crowded at all. The people working there really made it enjoyable! They were FANTASTIC! This is an older KOA but it's great! The scenery around it is beautiful! Lots of places to see and plenty of drives to take. Close enough to town for supplies and other needs. Far enough away from the highway to not here the noise.

I've stayed in many koa. Not much going on to enjoy at this one. Very desert feeling, nice employees though. The pool area needs help.

The single issue we had was the broken propane hose so we couldn’t fill the RV tank. Bathrooms were spotless. They have the greatest staff, made more special in these challenging times when companies are so short staffed it can make for curt interactions. Major cudos to Nancy who went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. I hope the owners know how lucky they are to have her!

Showers are really small. Both the Mens and Womens bathroom doors were badly warped and wouldn’t shut. Washers and dryers are old. Great location, close to Canon City. Sites are very close together.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location to Royal Gorge and Canon City were great. The restrooms were clean and there were adequate areas to walk our dog. The sites were not level and took some leveling ramps to assist. I noticed most RV's in the campground needed to use these.

Camp sites need a re-fresh as they are showing their age. And the restrooms need a total renovation as a past refresh missed the mark on tiling and the showers are way out of date.

Have stayed here several times. Nice campground! Restrooms are exceptionally clean, We had a very nice pull through site but we did have some difficulty getting into it. We have a 44ft 5th wheel and couldn't get around the boulders leading into the site, had to go around and back in. Not a big deal but you could damage your RV very easily if you're not careful.

All dirt and gravel sites with little shade. We stayed 3 nights in a 28 ft TT. Sites not real level.

We didn't feel staff were very friendly.When questioning a charge once I got home, Nancy was quite curt.The bathrooms were cold(literally-no heat because the doors wouldn't close all the way)& it took many minutes before there was water in the showers that wasn't JUST cold.There was a problem with a broken water heater and we had no water for an entire day.More problems-not enough room to list all

Absolutely no hot water in bathrooms. No heat in dryers. Was introducing son in law into camping and 1st experience at koa and they could not even take showers or dry their laundry. bathroom were old and nasty. Site I booked was for RV and tow but told not enough room so park elsewhere or upgrade sight from 50 to $80 then only had 50amp. Glad I had converter. I’d be hard pressed to return

Each campsite is nicely landscaped with large rocks which looks very nice. Utilities were convenient and worked just fine. The KOA is located with nearby Royal Gorge and about 9 miles from Canon City. The only downside is no grass for the dogs. It would be a great improvement if they had real grass planted and watered in a small section of the facilities.

The campground was nice but the women's room was not. The main door was falling off the hinges so couldn't close all the way. Therefore, the fact that it was lockable with an electronic code to get in was unusable. One morning I went in there and there was some man in there. Not sure if he worked there or not! Also, the toilets had issues with flushing and the showers were cold!
