It was great, however it advertised go karts, but none were operational and no track. The slide was locked and we had to continuously find a staff member to open it for us even though we had purchased a wrist band and the office gal told us it would be open all day.

Staff great and fun. Check in was quick. Site 16 was at the end of row with no patio base. Traffic guess by a lot but was not an issue. Did have tree for shade. Hook up fine. Restrooms/showers clean. Store has ok stock. Prices not bad. Very friendly staff and make you feel welcome. I'd stay again

We enjoyed are stay very much and look forward to visiting again in the future. The campground is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. There is a lot to do in the area and the scenery is beautiful.

We were very disappointed in our site. When making the reservation we were told we would be in the beautiful new section. The sites are too tight, there wasn't room to open our basement compartments on one side, if someone was next to us we couldn't use the firepit since it would be too close to our neighbor, also the utility hookups and poles for the covering of the patio are not placed well.

I'm going to hazard a guess that this KOA is under new ownership, or its owner found funding for substantial upgrades. The park is clean and adequately run. Note to management: the pea gravel is great for pedestrians and vehicles especially in wet weather. However, it stops wheelchairs dead.

Friendly and helpful staff in a good location but there are some negatives. The internet is useless even when the park was nearly empty. There was no over-the-air TV reception. When RV arrived next to us they parked their vehicle completely our site. They said the KOA person told them to park it there. The site was fairly level and the utilities worked well.

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help or answer a question. Check in was so easy. They had staff waiting outside to guide you to your camping spot. Text messages were helpful when looking for an added activity or to let you know about an upcoming event. They even texted to see if there was anything you needed.

We have been going to Royal Gorge/Canon City Koa for nearly 15 year on Memorial Day Weekend. We have a group of us that go every year and enjoy every moment. Owners and employees are always very friendly. Plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. Check in is easy and RV sites are always ready for you to start relaxing.

We loved the extra ammenities for the kids - slides, mini-golf, volleyball, playground. Our family had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend it!

The 2 ladies running the office the day of our arrival were fun, friendly and efficient. It's a beautiful area and far enough off the highway that there wasn't road noise. My only negative is that I feel the spaces are not laid out well; sites too close together; picnic tables too close to the next site. We did enjoy our stay though.

Cabin was clean and well set up. Bathrooms were very clean, even when arriving late at night. We chose this as we planned to visit Royal Gorge, and it was very close. About 5 miles of steep inclines and switchbacks from the campgrounds, we were at Royal Gorge and enjoying ourselves. Very happy to recommend this locatiion.

We loved the staff. Very helpful. It was a little difficult to get our 45 foot motorhome into some of the spaces due to the lay out of the border rocks . It would be helpful to move some of the borders as the resort has the room to assist the larger rigs. Even the 5th wheels are getting larger. Just a thought.

Our stay with Canon City KOA was very good. We then went to the KOA in Grand Junction CO. Our stay in Grand zjunction has been fine. Unfortunately while we were in a grand Junction we were notified of a family Medical emergency. We had reservation at the KOA in Glenwood Springs CO. that we have had to cancel, but since this is a Holiday Weekend we have to forfeit our deposit of $58.09. I’m

The staff was wonderful. Everyone that I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and the shop was open and well stocked. My family enjoyed the mini golf and playground. We were there before Memorial Day so not everything was open yet. There was some (needed) maintenance going on to prepare for the main camping season. No slide or pool yet. :( The wifi was unusably weak.

omg we had an absolute blast! before we left we rebooked again for another trip. we felt very welcomed! the staff was very accommodating and nice. my girls loved the daily activities that were offered. we cant wait to try the big slide next time we come back,

We had a great stay. We have two little kids, and they loved the dinosaur park nearby (2min), and the Royal Gorge. We had originally booked a cabin, but after reading reviews found out it only had a bunk bed. I’m thankful the staff upgraded us since our little kids can’t sleep on the top bunk yet. Everything was great and the kids loved the playground and mini golf. The bathrooms were clean.

I was in and out every day, but the staff somehow still knew who I was and what site I was in. Especially useful when my water hose went missing..staff had it for safe keeping!

Staff is very friendly, facilities are clean and it’s very close to the gorge and canon city. That grounds are kind of worn down and need some attention.
